Ordered a chubby chicken burger via drive through today, and the fries were hard as a rock and cold! It's too bad I didn't realize until I was home or I would have requested fresh ones. This is now the third poor quality experience at this location, which is a shame since the food and service used to be on point. No one wants to pay the expensive price of a burger to only be disappointed

Expensive, Cross contamination, poor hygiene, staff handling food and money with no gloves.
After complaining to the mgmt they replayed to me saying gloves are not mandatory
But at least washing hands should be a basic common sense habit

Today, I visited the A&W cafe and restaurant, and the experience was truly remarkable for me. The staff member who served me was exceptionally respectful and cooperative, especially when he learned that it was my first time buying from them. I ordered two cups of coffee, and to my pleasant surprise, he gave me a larger size for the price of the medium without asking for an additional fee. The place stands out for its impeccable cleanliness, which is commendable. The tables were clean, which is a rarity in coffee-serving places. I just wanted to extend my gratitude to the staff there. Positivity should be highlighted, and a kind word can motivate workers to give their best. Thank you, A&W

I ordered at the drive through. 2 burger with 2 fries 2 chicken strips with 2 fries.
The persin at the window took my payment for 8 items ordered then later handed me a bag without saying anything. I took the bag and asked "is that everything? " He did not respond so i asked again he said "yeah". I drove forward a bit and decided to chk as he seemed very dishonest. He noticed that i was checking then he came out of the restaurant with 2 burgers that were missed. Did not say "sorry" and handed me them. Then i continued to chk the bag and notice that one of the fries was also missing so i went into the restaurant and told them that i am still.missing fries. I told them to bring it out to my car. He brought it out and handed it to me with no appology again.

Came here on my break expecting a quick and good meal. I ended up having to wait 20 minutes for a very average breakfast which made me late for work. Absolutely terrible service!

Compared to the garbage Hero Burger across the complex, this place is absolutely amazing. The service is fantastic and the vibes are chill. Definitely coming back.

Ok place. Love the sweet potato fries. And that they can give you your soda in a glass iced glass. Loved the poutine.

I am a regular here, I come only during my lunch break so I don’t have time to argue. I’ve noticed that the way food is prepared here is going downhill. I get the message talking about food supply shortage when I do the mobile order but todays order was just incredible. I ordered a mozza burger on lettuce wrap without baconand got……. One pattie with the usual sauces and onions only. Imagine a beef pattie with onions and sauce only… if your going to tell us about food shortages A&W maybe you should also discount the prices for the ingredients you don’t have? This is price gauging.

I order here every once and awhile. Staffs always nice, and they're quick to prepare the food. Plus I love their spicy mayo

Frosty mugs bring me so much joy. I’d been to the drive through at this location a few times but discovered that dine in patrons can get frosty mugs! Simple things done well are the best.

. Ordered the kid pack.would have given 5 stars but they pushed the fries instead of a healthier choice of apple slices.

We ask for some burgers to this restaurant and we are really disappointed, we ask for a chicken habanero with lettuce, tomato and what we got was a piece of breaded chicken in a bun and that is it, no lettuce no tomatoes no dressing, bad for you A&W

They will not accomodate you. The car ahead of me took 2 mins longer to order and at 11.02 he refused to take my order saying we did last call and our closed

Normally good but recently started charging for 1 sauce. And forgot my seasoning for my fries last time

Small outdoor seating available. Could maintain their garbage a little better, as it was not cleaned out and there were tons of flies and bees. Good customer service. Had their beyond meat burgers dressed with the spicy habanero sauce. Loved it! However, the spicy habanero sauce is not spicy at all and barely felt a kick. Would go back for another one of their beyond meat burgers. Cannot even tell that it's not meat.

Was craving for some sweet potato and of course A&W came to mind! The freshness and warmth of the food together with speed and friendliness of the staff, it's great! I just wish they have chipotle mayo too, was really looking forward to that.

We ordered food from drive thru 4 in the morning, I found a strand of hair in my poutine and the onion rings is very salty.

Excellent location I always love the service that I receive when I'm there their burgers are always coming out fresh and they really know how to keep their customers safe during these covid-19 difficult days thank you all

I am in shock at the customer service I just received at this location. On May 9,2021 I ordered an extra egg that I paid for but did not receive in error. Upon returning today. I informed them while ordering and was told that unless I have a receipt or proof there is nothing they could do for me. As I was checking my banking statement my phone died. I told her same and said on May 9- they were out of containers (is that proof enough?) she said no and would not give me the egg I PAID for. What is happening to humanity? Never returning. Shame on you A&W and this lady worker who maid me feel as if I’m lying about a $2 egg.

Went in for the drive through during the night. To my dismay, the minimum wage worker gave me quite a distasteful mood. After refusing to serve us food because our electric vehicles didn’t count as vehicles according to this miserable soul, my friend and I were left hungry and sad. We are disappointed in the night staff. Do better.

I am truck driver stopped there today to have some breakfast.the old lady working there didn’t accepted my order by drive thru window and she didn’t even listen to me.very disappointing

Canadian grassfed beef, super seasoned onion rings, and rootbeer in a frosted mug when dining in? Yes please!

I’m quite a fan of A & W. However, this location is like a second home. It’s very close to where i lice so i pass by quite frequently. However, during their March sipscription trial month (free unlimited coffee for a full month), this location really took service to a different level.

I would pass by at least once a day for coffee and i got to know most of the employees quite well. They know me by name and them always are nice to my 4-year old twins. They gave then enough lollipops to last us a year ;)

A special shout out to Armando, Farzana and Nadia (i’m sure the others are also great but those r the ones I interacted with every morning.

The drive through is fast, efficient and friendly. My complicated order for my picky kids are always put together correctly.

I'm not sure what to say but i don't really like the burgers, they are pretty bland and no flavor but i guess the fries are good

Never get food from here. Ordered a burger At 3: 24 am on Monday. First off they over charged me. Second the burger was burnt which they didn’t replace. On top they were so rude. Do not recommend going there at all

Food was ok. Staff I interacted with was rude. Didn't say a word just held out stuff without saying anything.

Shame on you people, you always refuse to serve truck drivers after hours, well truck can’t go in drive through and these are the only places where we can expect some food at night.

I like A&W for a convenient drive up order and excellent quality for fast food. The teen burger has a great balance of flavors and I like the quality of the burger itself. So I keep going back.

Also, I like the stance that A&W has taken to ensure their beef is grass fed and does not contain various items that are not good for human consumption.

Normally I wouldn't rate most chain restaurants unless something was special about the location. The drive through here was extremely efficient at taking orders for a family of 5 and my wife loves their meatless burger. Good option as far as fast food goes.

After a couple of bad visits (not a one time thing), i felt it should be said that the store is dirty, walk in service is slow, and staff are untrained. On our last visit, we waited 15+ minutes to make it to front of the line (one cashier, very slow), only for her to turn away and leave us - without even stopping to say sorry or excuse me while she went off to do other things. After a few more minutes of being ignored, we had enough and left.

The store is also always dirty. There is always litter on the floor, the glass doors and hard surfaces are always covered in fingerprints, and there is a huge fan on top of the fridge that is encrusted in dust. The ketchup dispenser is almost always empty, and the waste drop off area is always messy and sticky.

If you ignore all that and can afford to wait a long time, then yes, if you ever do get your food, then 8 out of 10 times the food is good.

I love this branch.small but cosy.mostly clean but like any fast food restaurant you get in you got oil smell on you.so i guess ventilating would be an upgrade.
Food is good and service is good.

Though some people have reported issues in the past, this restaurant is a very good place to take out or dine in. Very clean for the most part and the the service is very fast. If your thinking of checking it out, I strongly recommend trying the root beer.

The food and service were above our expectations. We truly liked the environment of this place. Excellent place to take my family out for dinner.

The slowest fast food place. One car in front of me with one person in it and took me over 25 min to get through the drive through

Very tasty food but a bit on the pricier side. I find the toppings a bit underwhelming for the price. Especially compared to other fast food chains.

This location is typically messy and dirty even though they usually have plenty of staff. Food is usually good, customer service is adequate.

Beyond Meat Burger really does taste great, but the price is a bit steep. I think there is only one size of fries. Pretty typical fast food. I like the A&W root beer.

The stand alone location at Dundas and Trafalgar offer metal baskets for your fries and chilled glass mugs for your rootbeer. The mugs are chilled to a frosty -15c. Great on days when it feels like 40c. They don't like custom orders or substitution so just pick off the tomato!

Food was good especially the plant-based burgers, though the chubby chicken burger felt a bit dry. Spacious seating, clean washrooms, The aircon wasn't set at the appropriate temp, so it was warmer inside than outside. The washroom tap water was also hot water.

Lining up for a few minutes, when we about to order, the lady at the counter asked us let the guy behind us order first, because he works there. Doesn’t make any sense.
