It was hard to find, but once we did, the falls are lovely! The view from the lookout is nice, and you can clamber over rocks to get closer or to the bridge over the falls. If it has just rained I don't recommend trying to hike to the bridge over and across slippery rocks.

Was cool to check out dint really check out the trail. It looked like the only way was over rocks and downhill was wet and slipped
But getting to the lookout point was straight trail

Challenging but interesting up and down trail by the side of falls to the bridge. Went on rainy day but still very enjoyable. Trail on other side of bridge is ok but nothing too exciting

Worth the stop. Was not busy at all. Trails to both of the viewing stations are short and paved. Longer trail available if you have the time for it (we did not). Good number of information panels for AY Jackson and the geological history of the area. There are some mining rail cars on display and a handful of picnic tables too.

Interesting and pretty but only a view of the falls, I had hoped for a lookout over the whole Sudbury Basin but disappointed there was none.

Very beautiful place to see while up north, I recommend taking your pup! It’d be a great sight for both of you!

Beautiful fishing River to watch from the lookout. The area has some geographical significance too. It's named after a famous artist who painted this River in one of his famous paintings

Honestly, one of the most beautiful waterfalls I've seen in Canada.

The path is not for the faint-of-heart! Hahaha. But a bad thing. But a bit of warning.

Beautiful in all seasons, but stunning in fall! When the water is calmer in summer great place to see very interesting shatter cone impact craters from the formation of the Sudbury basin.

Take a moment, stop here and be serene for a time.
A great piece of Canadian natural and art history that is easy to get to. I've been coming here for decades and have seen it groomed a lot over the years. Personally feel the footbridge detracts a bit from the natural beauty of the falls, but it increases accessibility to more people. Given The 7 hoped more people would see nature and want to preserve it, we can give it a pass for helping meet that.
Also, awesome toboggan hill.
