Long behold, Lawyer Mr. Ayaz Mehdi called 5 minutes ahead of time and gave me 45 mins instead of 20 minutes booked. I have no words to describe that how he guided me and suggested me things to avoid extra expenses and unnecessary gouging. I never met him, not I knew Mr. Ayaz Mehdi before but he made me speechless how humanely and passionately he listened to me and advised me. He even advised me how I can save money from long litigations and paying endless money to himself as my lawyer. I think he is the first lawyer I ever heard in my life who is advising potential clients to settle things out of court and everything and save lots of money. I fully recommend this angel to be your guardian in the toughest journey of your life. I can write far more than this, but please feel free to contact me if you want to hear my feedback in person. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Deserves zero stars. Do NOT retain this lawyer for your legal services. Upon my initial 30 min consultation back in July 2022 which was meant to be free and he later ended up billing me for it, I was told that upon retaining him, my ex would be served within 2 weeks. I stressed the importance of me needing to file everything right away. I sent his assistant EVERYTHING she asked for within 30 mins. Being a single mom, my financial situation changes on the regular, hence me having to update this with his team. I would constantly ask for updates with my case because he never kept me in the loop and receive rude responses back from Mr. Mehdi himself. Not once, not twice but three times did he tell me that " If you don't like my services, hire another lawyer" and " I have other clients with more serious cases" That is NOT my problem. My case is just as important as anyone else's. Do NOT take on new clients when you clearly cannot handle your existing ones. Whatever paperwork he filed was rejected from the courts. He blamed me for that. How is it the clients fault when your team clearly missed something in the paperwork? This lawyer is completely unprofessional, unethical and uncompassionate. He was so friendly on the initial phone call and I trusted him with my case. Do NOT make the mistake of trusting this lawyer with yours. He wasted almost 5 months of precious time. My ex to this day has still not been served and he has already billed me for more than what I retained him for. I will be reporting him to the Law Society of Ontario for his unethical services and his lack of communication with clients. Completely rude and misleading.

Not what I was expecting he was the only lawyer out of all the ones I contacted that gave me negative feedback. I wasn’t happy with what he had to say he seemed to be all on the side of the other party. Like being biased toward a woman

I was able to contact Ayaz and he quickly responded to my inquiry. He set up an appointment with me to meet over the telephone and was on time. He was professional but personable. He was able to communicate with me in plain English and not just in legal jargon. I really appreciated his straightforwardness and earnestness in dealing with me.
