Azian Cuisine

I used to live in Oshawa and have since moved 4 hours away. It's been 4 years, and despite living close to Montreal and Ottawa, I have yet to find a Pho that compares to my favorite Tom Yum at Azian Cuisine. I've ordered many items from the menu and am NEVER disappointed. EVERY time I return to Oshawa, I visit to eat in or take out my Tom Yum Pho. I love the food, the staff and the owner!

Came here for the first time and will definitely be coming back! We tried various items from dim sum to sushi and fried rice. Everything was cooked to perfection and the portion sizes were great. Service was friendly and fast, definitely recommend!

This place makes the food just the way we local asians eat it. Authentic isn't exactly the right word but at the same time, it's not modified the way westerns people prefer it.

Very bad restaurant, I order five Shanghai noodles, the noddles sizes very small, total five order, like other restaurant one order sizes. Not enough, I paid $100, very bad restaurants. And The attitude of the service after I complained is very poor

We always order delivery or take out. Delicious food. Extremely sad to see the restaurant close down.

For Chinese cuisine this is the best around town.compatible to places I've gone to in Sauaga and TO. Taste is authentic compared to other restaurants around. I've recommended this place to others and they really enjoy it here too!

7 May 2023 - owners have changed so I'll have to see if their food is the same

So happy to have found this place. Food and service was great and the best part they offer a selection of gluten free dishes plus provide GF soy sauce upon request! Waiter was very knowledgeable about what foods were safe and was happy to point out dishes. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Just got the chow mein and the noodles are mostly dry they’re inedible. Very disappointing. Wasted 30$ on food I won’t eat

Obsessed. Never a bad experience and food is amazing. Highly recommend their chicken teriyaki, pumpkin soup, coconut shrimp and pork buns.

The first time I came to this location it was very clean, and elegant. The food was amazing loved every bite:) will be coming here again

Impressed with the dinner. Tried it out on recommendation from a friend. We had the curry, udon soup, noodle dish and fried rice. All was delicious, large portions and very filling. Online order was super easy and friendly upon pick up. Will come back again.

I have been going to this place for many years now. And they are absolutely amazing. It was so nice to be back last night. Excellent service food is fantastic. I love to order all different little stuff. Wonton soup different sushi like California rolls avocado pizza pan fried dumplings Spring rolls don’t know the name but it’s a shrimp dumpling oh dear God so good.everything is amazing

Been coming here since they opened, great and friendly service always! Their Pad Thai is the best in the area, and you can tell their sushi is made with better ingredients than the chain restaurants, definitely a must try!

Take-out - One Dish - Singapore Noodle. Great flavour, nice and hot, and excellent protocol for picking up - I could wait for a text that my food was ready.

The one downside - portion size was a little below expectation. For $16 (incl.tax) I was expecting a larger portion.

I continue to seek the best Singapore Noodle dish in Whitby / Oshawa:)

We ordered last night of Chicken Thai Rice that turned out to be was full of fish and tasted like fish. We told the manager who was rude and said we were wrong. Come on just say sorry and it would have been ok. But no he was just rude.

Do not go as the food is poor and the service is even worse.

We have had at this place twice now. Both the times, we ordered a stir fry & a fried rice and can say, we haven’t been disappointed. The taste is really nice and ingredients are fresh. They have a huge menu ranging from Thai, Chinese & Vietnamese food. Will keep on trying different options.

A nice place if you like Asian cuisine.

They use the recycled plates and almost everything

Not so good:

The ambiance is not wow. But not bad as well. Improvement can be done.

Take out menu is great. Best Tempura appetizer in town. Nicely done take out packaging is a value addition.all the sauces/Dips give you extra flavor.

I’m super happy Azian is in my neighbourhood. My go-to take out! Such good food. Honestly best Asian in Durham. Good portions, fresh and well priced. Keep up the good work.:) Food was great and you get a lot of food for a good price. The cashew chicken was excellent and their dumplings were perfect! Highly recommend for date nights or family meals!

This is a decent place to eat in Oshawa if you are willing to have anything asian. They offer a wide array of food from japanese, thai to hakka. The food is not out of this world but good for the price. The portion size is good enough for one person. I personally enjoyed the dumplings and noodles. They are also giving dine in food on compostable plates which has to be commended for covid.

Not bad for not being mainline anything. Asian Fusion. But we wished there were more dim sum offerings.

Got takeout here twice, Chirashi Don & Chefs exclusive Crystal Seafood in Phoenix Nest. Food was decent; nothing mind blowing but never the less decent. Couple dollar more expensive than other Chinese/Asian restaurants as they have good presentation & use better quality ingredients. The Chef’s exclusive item I tried did not meet expectations, just stir fried shrimp in vegetables in a fried noodle basket nothing special & lacked flavour/seasoning same with my Chirashi Don (good presentation though). Mostly good reviews of this place so I am willing to give it another try.

My girlfriend went to her friends in Oshawa yesterday and we decided to grab take out dinner at Azian Cuisine. The food quality is excellent. Service was fast. I asked for some recommendations since they have a large variety to choose from and the server was definitely helpful. I would definitely go back when I'm in Oshawa.

Ordered a chicken fried rice for takeout and it wasn’t cooked fresh. It was half cooked frozen fried rice exactly the same I get from grocery store. Paying $13 for a frozen fried rice was not worth it. I won’t recommend their food and try some authentic asian restaurant next time instead

This was our parties favorite restaurant during our week in Aruba. We liked it so much that we went twice. It can be a little tricky to order enough for everyone to fill up, but pretty much everything tastes really good (but it can get a little pricey). The sushi is really good. But to be honest pretty much everything was good and the atmosphere is even better. It looks like the underwent a massive renovation recently.

Ordered some dim sum. It was great. Nice to have a local place to get decent dim sum with out going to Scarborough.

An amazing little place most might miss because it is sandwiched in between big named franchises. Hands down an absolutely diverse menu with options for everyone. Last time we ordered the service was right on time and the portions were very good and the quality was well beyond 5 stars! I will be going back. Staff also friendly and helpful when ordering new things to expand the palate.

Ordered takeout, sushi portions are way too small for the price. 4 pcs dynamite roll for $8.50 yikes, was expecting atleast 8. Not even high quality sushi and very thin rolls (width of a quarter). Sushi should be avoided. 3 stars because rest of my order is was fine.

Not too impressed by the so called hakka noodles, Thai basil chicken. Quantity was less for the price

Pretty decent. 1 piece of salmon a little tough. Mostly good though. Slightly salty compared to others. Overall good.

Gave 2 star becuase they are nice. Ordered pad thai and found it very blan and no flavour same with the other food my coworkers ordered said some thing blan and no flavour. As nice as they are the food just didn't make the cut for us.

Ordered through Uber eats, it explained that delivery would take longer due to busyness. Accepted the time frame. The time frame came and went bumped me by 10 minute intervals 5 times so an extra hour than anticipated at which time the cancelled the order. Support a local restaurant they said in the Corona age. Well I'm done with this place.

This is surely one of the coolest place in the area. Every time I come to this place I am so pleased. They manage their very high standard service and the highest level of meals they provide. You no doubt will love this place. Warmly recommended.

I was told there was dim sum and it's really not a dim sum restaurant. But what they do have is good.

I have been going here for years. Good variety of food and they even have cauliflower rice now. The food is always fresh and hot and always the same. You never have to worry how it will be because it is always exactly as you remembered it. Staff are great, very friendly.

This place is a pleasant surprise. You aren't sure what to expect because it's in strip plaza, but great food and good service.

Nice atmosphere, food is executed and played well! Red curry fish is fantastic! The menu has a wide selection of choices. I like that you can choose from Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese and Thai dishes. Portions are very fair!

This is honestly the only place in Durham we will go for sushi and one of our overall favourite restaurants! The food quality, and the service is amazing each and everytime we come. The staff are so sweet and accommodating.they always take great care of us.:) Highly recommended!

A moderately-priced mix of Japanese, Thai, Chinese and other Asian cuisines. Clean, friendly, with a vast array of vegetables, with wonderful herbs and spices appropriate for each Asian region. A large variety of teas compliments a large menu. Quiet and easily accessible in North Oshawa.

Moved here recently and been here twice, both occasions on Sunday, The food is fantastic, authentic dishes and fresh ingredients! Amazed that they actually offer low carb choices like cauliflower rice, zucchini and miracle noodles, kudos to the executive chef! The service is very good but would like to mention about this tiny female server, she is always in a rush and running around like a chicken without a head, she almost bumped into the same customer twice, once with hot soup in her hand; suggest her to calm down a bit as customers are aware that they are not in a fast food joint, what is the rush? The rushing and running around is quite disturbing.

Ordered the beef pho. Asked for veggies instead of noodles and they did with no extra charge.

Coming back and trying many other dishes I saw other people order.

Great place.

The food and service here is always prompt and lovely. The selection their menu offers ensures that everyone in your party will be able to find something they like even if they're new to Asian/Thai cuisine. The sushi, Maki, sweet and sour pork and wonton soup are some of favourite dishes to order here. Their takeout and delivery is also great, and food is made fresh to order for every person who sits in the dining room or calls in an order. I have never been disappointed with this restaurant.

Excellent food. The environment is cozy and clean. The staff are always friendly. Great for lunches and family dinners out.

My first time dining at this restaurant. Service was amazingly quick, food selection was great. I would definitely recommend eating here and I would dine there again.

Good service and the tables were clean and looked great. Beef Pad Thai was great and they don't hold back on the portions for takeout.

Generous portions. Ordered a sushi platter and a wok, hoping to take leftovers for lunch the next day. Had more than enough for lunch. Food is of high quality, fish and veggies are very fresh. This is one of our go to spots for sushi.

Asian fusion restaurant. Always fresh and tasty. Very prompt service. I've been dining at this restaurant for several years. Highly recommended.

I usually order their gluten-free Singapore vermicelli (hold the shrimp, hold the cilantro). The chicken pad thai is very good.i like it spicy. Grandpa swears by their Cantonese chow mein, while my mom enjoys their cashew or basil chicken. We like to order gyoza (beef dumplings) as an appetizer. They'll either deep fry or pan fry them; pan-fried gyoza are superior.

Love it. Tasty eggplant is incredible. The specialty menus are really good and more than enough in quantity

The miso soup is good, the salad is little bit below average, and curry is below average. The beef in the curry is insipidness, taste like a boil beef and put to the curry. I guarantee this is not the right way to cook beef curry. I do not know how to cook it, but I am 100% sure the beef curry is below the average. The service is not bad, staff pretty friendly. The price is ok. Not really recommend for the curry, I didn’t try other dish, so I do not know. Thanks for watching, cheers.

Over a hour for take out. First and last time at this restaurant. People coming in and sitting down got orders before take out. Maybe it was because I was alone but service was dicussing. I know you will not reply to email but I feel better.
