Azure Restaurant & Bar

Had a very pleasant evening at Azure. It’s in the atrium of the Intercontinental Hotel so view is lovely. Cocktails were on point - don’t miss the spicy margarita!
Steak frites were great, the bone marrow was decadent, and overall it didn’t break the bank, quite reasonable for downtown Toronto.

Extensive breakfast and brunch buffet items. Lots of good options from seafood to veggie, etc. Perfect location, right in the city centre area.

The is an interesting restaurant, it's a hotel restaurant with class. They offer a wide selection, and so I thought they would all be ordinary. Dont be fooled. The waiter suggested the braised beef, and it was fantastic.

Our server, John, was a delight! He was helpful, funny, and made our dining experience very enjoyable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my soup, and the garlic milk buns are gorgeous.

The lovely lady at the front was very kind, welcoming, and thoughtful.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Azure restaurant and had an amazing experience. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by our server, Coco, and manager Alexandra. They were both incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout our meal, and made sure that every detail was taken care of.

The food was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed every dish that we tried. I don’t usually order a burger while dining out but Alexandra recommended it and it really was the best burger I ever had.
(The chef even came out to ask us how everything was tasting!)

We had a fantastic time at Azure, and as a matter of fact, we were so engrossed in the experience that we ended up missing the show that we had tickets for at The Royal Alexandra Theatre.

Was a great place to meet up for drinks and snacks ahead of the Sugar Sammy Show at John Basset Theatre. Lovely space.

Sat me at the wrong table than the rest of my reservation, made 10 mins late for a meeting I was 15 early for.

Really overpriced for a place where the food isn't all that great. We ordered steak medium rare, but it came out well done. At least they were nice enough to take it back and remake it better the second time. The desserts were really good, and the staff friendly.

Waitstaff bright me a double instead of a single - When I inform them, they only tell me, in front of my co- workers: Everyone else ordered a double. I rarely drink so it was way too much. I paid of course.

Went there for drinks. This is a typical hotel bar. We sat at the bar as there was 1 person service the seated area.

Just ok. The bar itself needs a massive update, and the menu is sub par. Our server was wonderful though!

Like it's so so. Not worth the price. The waitress was nice but a little forgetful. The food was pretentious and not awesome

Tamica was the best. I lived her friendly and professional disposition. The food was good, service was excellent. This has nothing to do with Tamica and her radiant smile and service.when people are dining and someone is stll eating, leave an empty setting on the table.the one who is still eating will not feel like they are dining alone and will not feel rushed.afterall you are a fine restaurant!

William at the intercontinental hotel bar was absolutely magnificent! He was so lovely. He is a very cheerful person and also very good at being on top of the service. We can’t wait to come back to visit William again!

Food was pricey which was to be expected, but with the limited menu we figured the food would be made well. Everything ordered was very mediocre, something you would expect from a pre made grab and go section of the grocery store.

Service was great, everything came out quickly. Convenient for guests staying at the hotel. Just disappointed in the quality of the food.

Was there for Canada Day weekend, very poor staffing. Food is verry overpriced for the quality. 6$ coffee, $6 "juice".
Had to ask for water, halfway into our meal I went looking for some.
I will never go back and will not promote it.

Before starting - I want to stress that there are no individual qualms with the staff as they seemed to be occupied by a guest who seemed extremely intoxicated on some kind of drug.

However, I can genuinely say our family has never been more disappointed by a meal.

At almost $400 for five people, you're expecting an experience, but nothing about the evening was memorable and we found ourselves wishing we had just gone to the Scaddabush across the road. The pictures are incredibly misleading and spoke to an ambience that just wasn't felt. It was quieter than a morgue and rather than being seated near the window as requested in the booking, we were sat in the centre of the room. I had asked for the salmon and was somehow brought a steak. We were all wondering if the waitress heard "same" though I'll say not to cause further fuss in the distracted environment with the intoxicated man, we decided not to raise the issue and that's on us. The steak gravy was watery and could have been from a package, the aioli seemed like mayo mixed with garlic powder and once again. My sister's chicken was incredibly dry and we all ended up prioritizing the fries.

Again, at almost $400, you're expecting a different level of food and service, but there was not a single thing that was memorable about the experience at Azure.
