Before finding Dr. Ron and the Back Clinics of Canada I was in agonizing pain on a daily basis. Most of my daily movements and tasks were incredibly difficult as a result. I had tried everything including messages, chiropractors, osteopaths, accupuncture, shock therapy and nothing had worked. I came into the Back Clinics of Canada as a last resort before I considered surgical options. After completing treatment I have truly never felt better and can once again complete daily tasks and go trhough life without pain. I thought it is time to update the review I posted 10 years ago. I am still pain free and enjoying my life. My grandkids have replaced my Harley but it’s a joy to play ball hockey, basketball, and tennis with them. I went to Back Clinics of Canada, Dr. Ron Nusbaum after suffering for many years of back pain due to severe disc degeneration and trying a lot of other options. I heard the ad on the radio and decided to give it a try. It is now 3 months since I finished treatment and I am virtually pain free. Back at the gym, riding the Harley, and the bicycle. The staff are amazing and keep the experience fun as well. If you have back issues give them a call. They will change your life.

Let me start off by saying that Dr. Nusbaum and his team have changed my life. I stumbled upon back clinics of Canada out of desperation. After a triplet pregnancy in 2020, I was left with a diagnosis of DDD and disc bulge-I had tried everything and was still left in debilitating, chronic pain. I was not able to play with my children or do anything. Ultimately, my back had hijacked my life.

On a whim I was desperate for answers, scared surgery was the only one- I made a call and wonderful Maddie arranged my consultation.

The next day, I met Dr. Nusbaum. He was incredible, kind, sweet, patient and thorough right from the start.

As a technology specialist, I work in different environments and had some back problems. I saw Dr Ron from Back Clinics of Canada on TV I called him right away. I spoke with Madie she is receptionist there. She was able to help me set a date and time for an appointment with Dr Ron. Madie was so helpful.

Within 2 days I had an x-ray and an MRI completed. Results showed I had a herniated disc in L4 L5 area.

I'm on my 2nd week of treatment and already my back is feeling relief. Antonia and Maya are the tech assistants and they are very caring and professional. They are always smiling. I'm glad to have them helping me fix my back pain.

Hello I am going to start this review with my honest opinion of the service I am still receiving from the back clinic of Canada. I started treatment 4 weeks ago with excruciating pain on my entire left side of my leg it was the worst pain I ever felt in my entire life, I remember telling my children this pain is worst than having a child. I did my research online looking for someone that can help me and not mask the pain. I know going to the hospital would be a waste of my time as all they do is either recommend surgery or give you pain killers which I was not planning on doing. I had a free consultation with Dr Ron Nusbaum who sent me for an xray right away with the results from my xray he told me right away he can help me and I really appreciated his honesty. Dr Nusbaum staff is very pleasant and they are very punctual as punctuality is very big with me if they were running behind they will call me right away to let me know which in my mind is very professional. The entire staff including Dr Nusbaum treats you like family they are very caring and always asking how I was feeling, they are very supportive and compassionate. I know this review may seem long but I am a straight up honest person and I do not sugar coat anything I say it like it is whether it is good or bad. I must say my experience attending this clinic is absolutely wonderful and I am happy to report I am off pain killers and the treatment I am receiving has helped me a lot I can now walk around without excruciating pain all because of Dr Nusbaum and his staff and the high tech machine he uses and the compassion of the entire team. I strongly recommend this clinic based on my experience. I can only speak for myself and the service I received. Dr. Nusbaum saved my life, I'm 76 years old and have suffered terribly because of my spinal stenosis for years. No other treatment helped until I saw Dr. Nusbaum. I went to 4 different neuro surgeons and they said they're was nothing they could do for me because my spinal stenosis was so bad. It was so bad that I lost my balance and couldn't walk, and now since i had this care, which by the way was painless and non-surgical, I can walk anywhere I want, I can walk my dog, I have my balance back and most of all NO PAIN! I went to this clinic with such hesitation whether this is going to fix my severe back and leg pain that I was suffering for the last 15 years.
I've been to many different clinics for many different treatments and none of them gave any relief.
To my surprise, I actually started to feel better with Dr. Nusbaum and how he proceeded with his treatment.
Each visit gave me hope of going there knowing I will be able function as I was 15 years ago, in my everyday life.

During the spring of 2020 I noticed i had some minor back pain, and a clicking feeling when I’d bend over, which would radiate up my entire body. I chose to ignore this and unfortunately over the course of a few years the minor back pain developed into chronic back pain, as well as sciatic pain down my leg that essentially left me unable to sit, stand, lay down or do pretty much anything. I couldn’t even sleep!

My family doctor unfortunately recently left the practice and I was trying to use walk in services to manage the pain, which essentially boiled down to “lose weight, take some Tylenol if it really hurts and try some stretches. ”

After many months of continued pain and limited help I searched for treatment options and Back Clinics of Canada came up and I became interested in the spinal decompression and laser therapy. I read many reviews and decided I had nothing to lose so in early 2023 I booked a meeting with Dr. Ron, and he sent me out for scans and determined I had degenerative disc disease on my L5S1 disc.

I began treatment and while initially sceptical of any treatment that promised such pain relief, within about 4 treatments my pain was quite significantly reduced. About 3/4 through my treatments my pain was almost entirely mitigated and as of now I’m essentially pain free.

I wish I could stress how transformative this has been for me, I can now sleep better, play with the kids again, and have felt reincarnated into the body I had before my pain developed. I even lost about 30 pounds as of writing this!

I want to thank Doctor Ron and his staff who are excellent and helpful. The treatment plan was very detailed and following my initial treatment, I have been provided with exercises and a continuing treatment plan that will hopefully prevent me from ever being in such pain again.

I’d you’re hesitant on the treatment, but you’re suffering from back pain, I wish you’d take my review to heart. I’m a 42 year old engineer who is now pain free. I would have given anything for such a feeling last summer, but all it took was a call to Back Clinics of Canada and a meeting with Doctor Ron.

What a relief! I’ve been dealing with lower back pain for over three years and it got really bad the last couple of months. I wanted to avoid surgery at all costs and started researching treatment options. I came across the Back Clinics of Canada and scheduled a complimentary consultation. After meeting with Dr. Nusbaum and assessing the different options available, I signed up for a treatment plan. Best investment ever! I noticed a change in pain levels after the first session. To be fair, I thought it was a placebo effect but after the second and third session, I knew something really good was happening. The tingling and numbness I was experiencing in my leg was gone after the forth session, and the tightness in my lower back was so much more manageable. The facilities and staff are top notch. I am 59 years old. I have suffered from life long back pain problems. This time around I suffered from herniated and bulging discs and sciatica.

Wow! This Clinic saved me! For five months, I had suffered from debilitating pain caused by a herniated disc. I am a 68 year old, formerly active, female. My diagnosis is spinal stenosis with a pinched sciatic nerve at L4L5/L5S1 coupled with mild arthritis in the lumbar region. In retrospect there might have been a nagging discomfort for some time, but the catalyst for the big pain was incident-related.lifting while gardening. It came on with enormous disability and pain from waist to baby toe. I started with physio but there was no relief.then came the osteopath, acupuncture and decompression at a small local office.still no results. I tried every gadget on the market.nothing helped. When I came to Back Clinics of Canada I was not eating or sleeping. I limped and had no walking stamina. I was unable to sit down and had not sat for months. I was emotionally spent and in a dark place. Doctors offered drugs, which I eventually did take, and said it would be a long time before I would get better, maybe years. They said I was not a candidate for surgery and I should continue to try to keep active, but there was not much more they could do. But I was no longer able to be active and all I did all day was manage pain. We live about 3 hours away from Toronto. I researched to try to find help. Decompression still made logical sense to me, given my x-rays and MRI, but I wanted the best technology available. My research led me to call Back Clinics of Canada and they booked me in right away. It is an unassuming location, but walk in the door and the staff and environs are professional, housing some of the best equipment available. I met with Dr. Nusbaum, found him to be genuine, caring and empathetic and wanted to start immediately. Each time you come you are seen by the doctor to ensure you are on the right track. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable and warm. I was strapped into the Spine Med machine. I tried the other machines a few times, but I preferred this one. It is a personal preference. I felt secure for some reason, like my pull hit just the right spot. Slowly, over months, I improved. We drove 3 hours through every kind of weather because it was working. I was getting better. Slowly I could sit, not having done so in about six months. This treatment has now helped me to the point that I think I can take over, with exercise and rest, to build endurance and a wider range of activities on my own. I owe my sanity to this treatment and my husband, who drove all those kilometres, is grateful for that. Thanks Dr. Nusbaum and staff. I am not sure what I would have done without you.

I learned of Dr. Ron and his clinic when I was looking for a location that has a Spine Med machine for decompression. I was able to locate his clinic and after assessment, I started attending daily appointments to fix a slight disc herniation in my lower back. This was causing problems as it was possibly touching the nerve root. A MRI had already confirmed the slight herniation. This was also possibly causing neuropathy in my feet that had started many years earlier. I am happy to say that I am now 100% better physically and mentally than I was when I first met Dr. Ron and started my treatments. I am still dealing with the neuropathy, however the nerve sensations are very occasional and less intense. Dr. Ron and his staff are excellent to deal with. His staff are always welcoming and willing to assist. I would recommend Back Clinics of Canada to others.

Going to this clinic was the best decision I ever made. I was almost scheduled for spinal surgery because of the pain in my back but since going to Dr. Nusbaum, I feel almost as good as new and no longer need surgery.
