We found Back in Balance as we were referred there for our son. Kelly was amazing and the cranial treatments made a huge difference. I then started seeing Dr. Ellard myself, and the difference after years of chronic pain from a neck injury and concussion was phenomenal. I was instantly taller and after a few treatments, found that a lot of my symptoms had disappeared. Great place, nice staff!

I have been going to Back in Balance for my chiropractor (Dr. Ellard) and RMT (Gavin Featherstone) needs for years. Both Dr. Ellard and Gavin are excellent practitioners who take the time to listen to my current needs and provide me with excellent care. Both have excellent bedside manners and quickly resolve my issues. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Back in Balance!

The staff are so friendly and efficient! I've been seeing Dr. Ellard for a few weeks now. He was thorough in my assessment and provided excellent explanations. Our subsiquent appointments have been pleasant and efficient as well. He is polite, professional and makes me feel at ease. Highly recommend Back in Balance!

Lower Back Pain
Sorry this is a little drawn out.
I have been doing exercises and stretches since seeing a chiropractor regularly for the first time (about 11/12 years ago).
There were a few issues happening with the prior chiro office and technique. I think it was called a lumbar roll. This felt like I was being ripped in half (either side). I changed chiropractors a few years ago, waiting to see if I made the right decision. I did!
I researched the Thompson technique online and spoke with someone who has this technique applied. The first few sessions, my back felt uncomfortable but not sore or any type of pain. I guess you can compare it to doing a different type of workout or exercise. These sessions worked seamlessly. I find this technique works really well on my SI joints that go out from time to time.
When I go through this now, I know I will have instant relief, and not being ripped in half.
Dr. Norman also gave new stretches and exercises to do, which I do every second day. In addition, she said not to bend over to stretch the hamstrings but instead gave me another technique to stretch them. This is so much easier on my back (and it stretches my calves too). This certainly helps when playing golf!
I have greater flexibility now than I had a year or so ago.
I really do recommend Dr. Norman and Back in Balance.

I see Dr. Norman for chiro and now Connor for massage therapy. I would highly recommend both of them. All staff are very friendly.

I was very impressed by my intake here with Dr. Ellard. The office is a beautiful, warm and clean space. The staff greeted me promptly and helped me with any questions I had.
Dr. Ellard was incredibly friendly and personable, listening to my history and offering suggestions as to why I could be feeling the way I am in certain parts of my body. He was quick and very professional. I’m excited to continue my work with him at Back in Balance!

Dr Ellard works magic. I had whiplash from a slip on the ice 2 years ago and with Dr Ellards quick work I was fully recovered in a matter of months. I again fell a few weeks ago and again Dr Ellards work has the aches and pains disappoint quickly.

After numerous attempts at Chiropractic treatment for my Chronic Migraines - Dr. Ellard's treatment has been a breakthrough for me in this journey with Migraines.
The attention to detail and patience with which he dealt with my situation was very hepful and he really helped me treat the condition and temper it down with remarkable success.
