Bad Axe Throwing Ottawa

It was an exhilarating experience, though I was quite bad at it, it made me feel BadAxe! Ashley was a wonderful coach, and quick to give tips when she noticed us struggling. Would definitely come back to throw some more axes!

Just wanted to come back and write a quick review with the 5 stars I gave them. This is by far my favorite place for throwing axes. Very chill, the instructors are always very helpful when you need them. Ive been to others, and no one else cares more about the client experience than these guys. My go-to for axe throwing!

Tyler is the most amazing man on the planet. He was such an awesome teacher, incredibly patient and really knows his stuff.

My teen daughter and I went for the first time and had a fabulous afternoon. Tyler stayed with us the entire time and gave us wonderful instructions. We will certainly return.

I'm giving my experience a 1-star only because the other two I was with had fun. Unfortunately, I was the one paying so, hence the 1-star review.
We were walk-in's as a group of 3 and intended to be 3 playing. After three and only three throws, I decided that this was not for me because I have arm issues that were impairing my experience. While there, "Coach Ben" gave pointers on throwing the axe however he admitted that there were throws he could not do or was working on, thereby negating the claim on the website of "World Class Axe Throwing Instructors".
Ultimately, Coach Ben and Bad Axe Throwing in Ottawa are getting 1-start because we were specifically told by him that if we could not leave a 5-star review to not bother leaving a review at all without asking us how the experience was instead, but, mostly because I was charged for 3 players when clearly I DID NOT participate in the experience. That was a great money-grab!

Thank you Tyler at Bad Axe Ottawa for having so much fun with us! And working hard to make sure we were successful! We’ll definitely be back

I went over to Bad Axe throwing with a few of my friends and we had a great time. Ashley was very friendly and helpful. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, definitely going back!

Booked this for a birthday. First time trying it out and won't be my last. Thoroughly enjoyed it and shout out to Conor, our coach who offered a great service. Would highly recommend to new customers.

Had a great time throwing with my friends and destroying them in our competitions. Jared was our instructor and he did a great job of showing us all the different throwing techniques. The whole session he was giving advice and there was a huge improvement in the 2 hours we spent there! All skill levels will have fun at this location.

I actually was at a different axe throwing place few days before that and it was way more professional. The training was professional and helpful and all the handling. Here the training person gave counter-productive advice and you could see that they don’t have much experience. It’s not a cheap activity, I expect it to be taken more seriously.

I didn't think I'd be any good at this, but I was wrong! Way less intimidating than it looks, it's so much fun and a GREAT stress reliever. The place looked how I expected.basic and messy. But when axes are flying, you don't exactly want nice things around
