Bagel World

I went here for the first time on Friday expecting some good breakfast and they did not disappoint. The server with the purple hair was very friendly and accommodating and even recommended her favourite item on the menu and did not disappoint! I’ll definitely be back again. 10/10 service and 10/10 food quality.

If it was possible to rate less than a star I would.

Service: Paid almost $16 for a bagel and a chocolate milk. Then while I’m waiting I go sit at a table assuming it’s okay to sit. A waiter tells me that if I already ordered and paid that I’m not allowed to sit. That I can only sit at a stool which is uncomfortable. Then I ask for the manager and told her that if I can’t sit then I wanted a refund she then threw the paper bag with the bagel at me and told me I could sit only 5 minutes.

Are you kidding me? Poor service.

The bagel: I am a fan of eating the lox bagel and unfortunately this is by far one of the worst ones. The bagel was old, didn’t taste good at all. Besides that the onions were cut huge.

I also asked for a receipt and didn’t get one because the paper was stuck while printing.

I would not recommend and will not be returning

The coffee is always excellent and provides the perk to get you through the morning. Right off the 401, this place is a Toronto institution. The Staff is second to none, quick, efficient and courteous, many times in the face of difficult circumstances. This is the place to be for that casual or business meeting. They have been very charitable to the community especially during Covid providing free bagels and coffee on a weekly basis to front line workers. I could not think of nicer people than those that work here. Thank you!

Great bagels. Parking is difficult but worth the trouble. Can eat in or buy bagels to take home. Best in the morning when they are still warm!

Recently the service has gone down. It has got busy but understaffed. I hate how only your waiter can help you. When I asked for help from another waiter, she told me I have ask my waiter. I am annoyed because last time she was my waiter but not this time. Food is food, bagel can't go wrong there.

Carol is such a pleasure - so delightful and attentive to customers. I will be back again soon. She makes the experience so enjoyable.

One of my favourite bagel shops in Toronto. If you like cinnamon raisin, theirs is so good and almost tastes caramelized. I love getting their sandwiches too. My go to is a sesame bagel not toasted with chive cream, tomato, cucumber and lettuce. It always hits the spot:)

This is my second time visiting Bagel World. I ordered the pumpernickel and sesame bagel with cream cheese and tomato. I could really taste the sesame flavour. The bagel was nicely toasted and crispy. They were very generous with the cream cheese, which I really like. Overall, the bagel was great and I would like to come back to try their flat bagel next time.

Bagels, and flagels (flat bagels) are great. Bought chocolate chip cookies and they were terrible. I guess that's what you get for buying cookies at a place called Bagel World. They tasted like onion so there must have been some kind of cross contamination with the everything bagels. The cookies were also overly expensive, so it was definitely disappointing

We come to Bagel World because of Carol. We purposely wait to sit in her section. She is phenomenal. Carol, we notice all your hard work. A million thank yous from the Schwartz Family.

Best bagels I have ever had. The best bagel is the cinnamon raisin bagel, It is so delicious I eat two a week.

The place was over full and understaffed.
Neither the food, nor the service was anything special. I ordered, but the server forgot my cup of tea. She was very sweet, but swamped. Half of the flat bagel I ordered was burned to the point of inedible. The bagels we brought home, were hard the third day. Not the birthday brunch I wanted.

Always come for the bagels to-go, but when I sat down for brekfast I felt so lovingly doted upon! This place is such a gem. Glad it hasn't changed in the 10 years I've known it.

Wonderful bakery on Wilson Avenue in North York, Ontario. They make the best Jewish bagels in the country.

Tasty bagels! Drove 25 minutes each way to get their bagels! Worth it! Chewy and delicious
