The service was great and the patio is cozy, also it’s covered so we even sat out in the rain and didn’t get wet. I didn’t much enjoy the chicken and potatoes, but it was a good experience.

I have had dinner and lunch here many times, but recently the service was so great that I had to write a review.

Reserved for a birthday, my family and I definitely could have attracted a short fuze, but we were greeted by an amazing server who had the patience of a saint. He was attending to all of our needs, even a family member of mine who is disabled.

Besides the phenomenal service, the food was also great. All 6 of us who ate, enjoyed our food to the fullest. From steak, to fish, we savoured each bite and were satisfied with what we ordered.

The atmosphere varies because of the people that attend, but the staff do their best to keep everyone in check and happy. They also have a patio for the hot summer days, but they extremely lack in available parking. Definitely returning, and even if you can’t make it in for a wine and dine service, they have a convenient take-out service next door to give you food on the go.

Would recommend the flaming chorizo and any of the bbq chicken and steak options. Thank you, 5 ️!

Ate here once before and it was great but when my sister and I returned for another fish dinner which was great they gave us a very small piece which was smaller than a half. It was very disappointing and it was a dinner of more than 15 dollars. Never realized till I got home and couldn’t go back, called and spoke to a lady and said the manager would call back but never did. Very appalling that they would serve people a piece like that in these hard times. Would not go back because a place with such good food turned me off and they didn’t satisfy at all, that barely fed a kid. Very disgusting, if u don’t have enough tell people, at least be honest. Never again!

My family has been eating at Bairrada since I can remember from the original location on college to the one in Mississauga today was my first time at this location and I’ve never been so disappointed. Leaving a restaurant in my life don’t get me wrong. The service was amazing. Our waiter was perfect. It’s sad to say that the food itself was a little lacklustre the green soup was missing the chorizo and I have steak was slightly overcooked and the meat was very tough. My girlfriend got the chicken and she found the chicken really dry. The potatoes had no flavour all in all very disappointing for a place that I have such fond memories of going to. I don’t want to leave reviews like this, but I figured this time management really needs to know.

Wow, wow, wow. This was by far the best bbq chicken I've eaten. The food came out timely, the service was impeccable, and most important, the food was remarkable. I recommend the bbq chicken, you won't be disappointed.

First time trying Bairrada and it was like having food in Portugal again. If you want an authentic taste of Portuguese food this is the spot for it. I enjoyed their Rissóis de Camarão, Shrimp Camarão, & Frango no Churrasco. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Best Portuguese Chicken in my opinion. If you are lucky your server will be Hugo who is the best! Can't say enough great things about Hugo, he always makes us feel welcome when we dine in. Never tried anything but the chicken, the sauce is the best.

Dried out chicken- most went I to the garbage. Salty service from the staff at the takeout window- I won’t be back.

St. Clair location - Went for dinner on a Wednesday mid week expected alot more since not busy. The service /waiter was great. However the quality and quanity lacked. 2nd time here and disappointed won't be returning. Sat a table against a wall that was really dirty didn't notice when i sat down big turn off. Walls definitely need to be cleaned regularly. Ordered the seafood platter for 2 (not cheap $124.99) and some seafood items listed was not included. Lots of sauce to make it look full and shell items on edge to look full but only a few clams. Not many shrimps. Tiger or otherwise. The lobster and crab there but didnt seem whole crab in platter. Definitely not for 2. Also lacked flavor. Very watered down. Ordered chips didn't have (out) had to settle for fries. Ordered a desert they out ended not having. They're excuse just reopened after summer holidays. Heard someone else order from another table an item waiter said out as well. They should update menu if they didn't get their orders/deliveries when reopened. Very disappointing. Not willing to try them again. Had cheaper, better tasting and fuller seafood platters at other portuguese locations on st. Clair.

Food and customer service are great! The Portuguese stile food so tasty and delicious! The food was warm and freshly made! We loved it! Highly recommended

Placed an order this passed Sunday June 19th for about 30 people. Food portions were amazing for the price, more then enough to feed everyone a couple times. Food was hot and fresh when delivered. The food also exceed my expectations, everything was really delicious. Would definitely recommend and will be a future customer for sure. If I could I would give more stars. A huge thank you to Valerie as she was able to answer all my questions and help me complete the order with out any stress.

Took my father for his birthday. The food was great, fresh and warm. However, we waited for over 30 mins for our orders.

Absolutely AMAZING.it was delivered on time hot and packaged amazingly. If I could give the restaurant a million STARS I would. This was my frist time ordering but it will not be my last.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. AWFUL! This is NOT Churrasco style food. The chicken was virtually skinless and therefore dry. It had some red chilies on it. The rice was undercooked so it was hard. The only decent part of the meal was the potatoes. Oh, and the calamari was inedible.

Excellent Portuguese restaurant. Food is delicious and abundant. Service is great. Will be coming again.

Hugo is very thoughtful and kind and if therevus a problem is helpful. Food is tasty but may not be on point if ordering steaks. Médium was Médium well.but everything else is great.

The steak I bought was so hard to chew and not juicy as I expected, they ended up in trash bin

Our favorite Churrasqueira Grill. Chicken is always fresh and flavorful. The price have gone up to $19 the last time we went there last week. That's expected after the pandemic.

I bought take out and the employee serving me was coughing his lungs out, not using gloves and constantly adjusting his face mask.

I don't know what our severs name was but he was sooooo nice. He was young slim with blonde tips dark roots. Very humble and kind spirit. Anyway the food was good.so full could not finish we order too much. Actually we filled up on the nice fresh corn bread and butter

A very good quality fish meal at good prices.
And the staff at the door are exellent.
The container's the food is placed in gets cold by the time you arrive home and the fish should be separated from the vegetables so the taste isn't tasting all like fish.

Not only was the food delayed but I waited for 1 hour.the embarrassment was 20 people behind me to pick up food noticed 2 women almost coming to a fight because one tried to sneak in.this restaurant was very disorganized

Fun place before Covid19 Life

Not too happy with the food. I'm a big fan of Portuguese restaurants but this one didn't meet my expectations. The menu is not expensive but you see not too much food on the dishes the portions are small especiallly the fish. Kudos for the waitress she was amazing.

Went to this location yesterday, order a full chicken. The chicken was cold along with the rice. Later to find hair in the styrofoam container. I will never return to this dirty place!

This spot is my preferred one. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very warm and the food they offer is so fresh and tasty. I would always prefer to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.

Had a excellent experience here with my daughter. The food comes out fast and the customer service is just great. Prices are affordable.

Take out area is very dirty, pots with rice sitting on the FLOOR! Honestly I will not return alot of competition in the area, step up your game.

The chicken tasted old and potato’s really hard. Ordered a glass of wine Portuguese wine and I got Ontario wine.

The food was good but the only problem is that they dont answer their phones. We called for pick up and they never answered. We were scared they may be closed but they were open, and super busy.

Cheap and cheerful and the food is like your grandmother would make if your Grandma was Portuguese.

I came I'm this morning around 12 30pm. I was getting takeout. I ordered a whole chicken when I got home I opened the container to only discover that the chicken was cold and dry and looked like it was from last night. I did not see any chicken cooking on the grill when I was ordering. First time I tried this place and I will not be back. Very disappointed and will not recommend. Could make people get sick from this type of practice.

It was okay. I don't know why they gave me raw onions, which I did not eat, on my cod. When the potatoes cooled down, the texture was not very pleasant. The brocolli was not cut up.

Bad service and even worse food. Should have gone to a fast food place.would have tasted better. Bairrada used to be great 30 years ago. It's been downhill ever since. It is NOT a Portuguese restaurant.it is a bar that serves bad tasting food.

This restaurant provides first-rate service as well as delicious menu. One of the best restaurant ever. The drinks and food served quick and the rates were inexpensive. Highly recommended.

I used to recommend this restaurant to several of my friends as the food was very tasty and big portions. But the last time was a really disappointment, the fish was dry and no flavour and the desserts was even worse, we couldn't eat them at all, a complete disaster, the only 2 things that was acceptable was the appetizer "queijo fresco" and the server, that was extremely apologetic, obviously he knew that the food wasn't good.

The staff were great and served our large group amazingly. Really appreciated.
Also all our allergies and other special requests were promptly dealt with though I really wish we could have figured out if the hot sauce was gluten free.
I had the codfish which was pretty good but be warned it's bone in (I know amateur move on my part thinking it would be de-boned). Very good but the quantities are so big I couldn't finish it.

I stop in often on way home from work & grab couple whole chickens & Ceasar salad on the take out side, now I found out they're on feedora even better, just had bike courier deliver whole chicken & Ceasar salad. Love the chicken & Piri Piri sauce, Ceasar salad is Ceasar salad sauce is fine croutons romaine lettuce, the minus one star is for fake bacon bits in Ceasar salad, love eating from here, will continue to do so, but pleases just toss little real bacon in the Ceasar salad, those fake bacon bits are gross, I'll even pay extra buck or two for real bacon.

We always order from here when in the area and it never disappoints. Order ahead to make sure you get what you want but always great food!

I love getting takeout from this place. The staff is friendly and the food is consistently good. I haven't tried to continue restaurant portion yet.

My husband and I ordered the sandwiches. It brought me back to my childhood. Great flavours!
If I could make a suggestion.maybe instead of the lettuce and tomato with the veal cutlets.use sauteed mushrooms and onions. That would be perfect!
