I was very surprised when I called I got a real human being almost immediately! They were able to answer my questions and were very patient with me, as I am VERY new to Baka Mobile!
I ordered a new phone through them, and they kept me in the loop weekly on the status of my order (and the chip shortage)!
I would definitely recommend! Especially as I get a union discount… I have fought with Bell “Loyalty” for years, and they’ve never come close to Baka’s discounts/rates! I wish I knew about them 8 years ago!

I've ordered phones through Baka's Employee Pricing Program for several years now. This is my 4th phone ordered through Baka's online ordering system, which makes everything a breeze. This time, I placed my order on Tuesday evening at 6pm and had my phone in hand on Thursday morning at 9am. Phenomenal turnaround and service.

Also, whenever I do have any questions, their sales team is knowledgeable, courteous and easy to reach by phone. I've never felt pressured into purchasing a device or a plan, and I've never had to wait on hold.

I am a repeat customer and will back for my next device, because the support and service is unmatched anywhere.

Ordered a phone and never received, when contacted customer service was basically told I was SOL and to deal with the the issue myself. Was at a lost for words. After a month of "Investigations" I am still without a phone and Baka won't do anything to help. Additionally, overpriced international plans.

Love the phone so far! Upgraded my previous iphone 7 and the whole process was quick and seamless. I love the size and colour and really like the facial recognition compared to the finger print. Slowly getting used to the slide home feature instead of the no home button.

This company used to be great, but oh how things have changed! New phones used to be 0 dollars on amazing plans 4-5 years ago, now a new phone is the same price as everyone else, but their plans are more expensive for the the exact same services, or even less services in some instances. How is this considered corporate rates? What a joke! Where is the incentive to purchase from this company?

My experience with Baka has been beyond disappointing. I chose Baka because I'm a teacher and ETFO has them as a provider. ETFO, we can do better, find a new partnership. They sent me a defective phone and the process for trying to exchange it has been weeks. They wanted me to pay to ship it back, despite it being defective. They have accused me of not returning calls (when they had my phone) and continually put the problem on me, despite detailed explanations and dates/emails of their lack of communication. I have tried to cancel, but they told me I am passed my time frame, which I didn't receive because they called the number on the phone they had. This has been one of the poorest customer service experiences I have had.

My husband ordered a phone through Baka, with the ETFO plan, and when we received a defective phone, he tried to contact and had difficulty. Finally, he was asked to ship the phone back but was charged 150 for changing phones, when we received a broken phone in the beginning.

Seeing the rude emails from customer service was shocking. I decided to choose Rogers instead, who matched the business discount and provided me with a new phone in working condition.

We are hoping he can get out of the contract and join Rogers as well.

I have told colleagues, friends and family to stay clear of this company as customer service was rude and unhelpful.

Reading through the reviews, I can see this isn't the first time people have been given defective phones. So disappointing.

I have been with bell for years and was looking to switch to new plan. I emailed them about plans and got an email at 11am about deals with a corporate plan. After waking up from my midnight shift I called to join and was told I can't join because 2 hours later they changed the price point going up $400. Zero loyalty just people punching the clock. Will be telling people not to look here

Consistently poor service. The only reason why I have continued using this unprofessional organization is that OPSEU long ago chose them to provide phone services to members. It is high time for OPSEU to put out a Request For Proposal to replace Baka with a competent provider. I urge other members to speak out; collectively we have the purchasing power to get better rates and a proper service provider.

Mar. 6/20 - Waiting 2 weeks now for contact from the Baka President. Apparently the OPSEU contract is not important to Baka.

I worked at Baka and after that (let’s just say) experience I still went to buy a phone at their store. Every question I asked the sales rep had to find an answer. Three questions he was not able to. Two of the questions he should of had the answer right away. Common knowledge. I left and bought from bell at Dixie mall. A friend of mine has a Japanese wife and when she was in a car she saw the Baka sign on the highway and she laughed. In Japanese Baka means idiot. I will leave it there.

I went by today and it was a great experience. I was referred by my security company in Hamilton. Plenty of parking here, lots staff, just great experience.
