Couldn't be more thankful for all of you at bakers! The patience you guys have and dedication to our lovely babies, I wouldn't go anywhere else but these guys! They have gained my full trust with my fur babies.

Very Friendly and responsive. Waiting area is clean with good spacing between seats - appreciated when you have a larger pet. Vets always give a range of options in my experience. Very thorough in the care of your pet.

My wife and I unfortunately had to put our 12 year old Weimaraner down yesterday. The entire staff was so caring and respectful of our dog and our feelings. We have been going to Baker for years and had great service every time.

Wouldn’t trust my animals with anyone else! I have been using Baker Animal Clinic since I moved to the Whitby area about 9 years ago. They have always been convenient, helpful, friendly and reliable when taking care of my pets. Recently we lost our beloved cat Ripley and the staff was amazing from the first phone call. What prompted me to write this review was the extra step the staff took while collecting some memories from my boy for me. Without my knowledge they took an ink stamp of his nose, little lips and some whiskers. All I had thought to ask for was a paw print and they went the extra mile - like true animal lovers do - to give me something I could keep forever. I was so surprised and grateful. It’s so perfect I will eventually have it tattooed.
Thank you to each staff member who interacted with my husband and I during this very hard time, we truly do appreciate your kindness.

Our first time using this vet and we had to sadly say goodbye to our little girl Chloe. The vet and all the staff were lovely

I feel that I was lied to regarding the condition of my cat.
We brought my cat in due to not urinating well and had some blood when tried to urinate.
After plenty of tests and medications I was told that he has crystals and a condition that could come back so I now need to buy veterinarian (so product from baker) cat food for his crystal problem. This food is insanely expensive i will add. He is a very fussy eater.so we finally found one. The company a few times wouldn't have the food available so I was talking with the vet what to do because the other food didn't work he would throw up etc.so she said she would look into it.she came back to tell me that after looking into my cats files he doesn't necessarily need the special food because he has a bladder infection and the food doesn't do anything for that. So basically I was paying for this ridiculously expensive food because I was told he had crystals and needed it or he would get them again.not a bladder infection. I am sickend that they would fo this, I will not return and I will continue to let people know how sketchy they are, don't be fooled and get a second opinion, I wish i did would of saved me a ton of money.

We've taken all 3 of our pets to Baker. They are friendly and so personable. The technicians are so sweet and the vets are friendly and so clear and helpful. Definitely recommend them to any Durham pet owners

Wonderful clinic and our shaggy and mega skittish dog was made very welcome there. They even managed to clip her nails, and she doesn't let anyone touch her feet! More importantly, she got a most thorough check up and good advice. I appreciate this clinic and recommend it to others!

My husband and I took our puppy here for the first time a few weeks ago and were over joyed with the love they had for our little miss. Everyone came to say hello and greet her. She has an allergy to chicken which we were quick to pick up on when we brought her home and they were very quick to have that noted on her file and have the staff informed so as not to give her treats containing any chicken. When we walked into the exam room she had her name, age and weight displayed on a board similar to those used when kids start school it was awesome and perfect for our photogenic girl to get some pictures. They also took a picture of her and printed it out for us in a page protector with a lot of information as a welcome package. Oh, and I can't forget mentioning her new toy she got as well. Everyone there is kind and caring. I did extensive research on veterinarians to find one that puts your fur babies first and is not pushy for getting tests and things that your pet may not require. Rather, they simply explain what tests or medications they offer and what their purpose is, and you decide whether that works for you. They also discussed what we plan on doing to be able to recommend services available to us. For instance, whether we plan on going to dog parks or boarding her. We camp and plan on having her with us so we were educated in preventive medications they offer. They also hold a nail trimming fundraiser they hold monthly, I believe. All proceeds go to Tyson and Friends. It's a non-profit dog rescue specializing in bully breeds.which is absolutely amazing! Baker Animal Clinic and it's staff are amazing, and as soon as you walk in, you feel the love they have for what they do.

They are the best vet animal clinic in Southern Ontario. I was going there for over 20 years with my dogs until I moved up to Barrie.

My dog Gracie's annual visit with Dr. Birds went by stress free for and more importantly my dog. The entire staff from check in to pay out was friendly and professional.
Of special note, about an hour after I left, I returned with a loose dog I found at my local park. Since the dog had no ID, I took him to Baker's to see if he was chipped. The front desk staff found the chip, called the company to get an owner identity and I was able to return the dog to its owner. Thanks Again!

Baker is the only clinic I would trust with my dogs and or cat (s) care All the staff are kind and courtious My dog Ricky does especially well with Dr Dave

I brought my 3lb chorkie here for a spay, they answered all of my questions, kept me updated through the surgery and recovery, and checked up on mochi the following day! They where so understanding to my anxieties and reassured me and helped me understand everything going on! On our first visit they had a chalkboard up with her info and a little toy for her to bring home! Over all I've had wonderful experiences with baker.

I have been going to this vet for a few years now, for both of my dogs. It’s a great experience every single time! For both of my dogs, they wrote a little welcome sign for their first visit, took pictures for their file and also sent each of them home with a new toy. Such a thoughtful touch to a first visit. I’ve been to various vets around the Whitby/Oshawa area and I truly feel this one is the best. The staff are kind, the vets and techs are all extremely compassionate and caring, and very communicative. They take pet owner concerns and questions seriously and take the time to make the animals as well as the people comfortable. Highly recommend!

A lot of talented vets on staff that I trust, and I don’t feel like they’re trying to manipulate me into treatments my dog doesn’t need. Everyone is very friendly. I drive kind of far to take my dogs here because every other vet I’ve tried that’s closer just doesn’t measure up.

Dr. Birss has been seeing our dog since he was a puppy and he is now 9 years old. He loves going to the vet just to see her. She gets right down on the floor with him and gives him such wonderful loving attention. She's the best!

Baker animal clinic was amazing dealing with them was awesome I was so scared about my cat being spay I was very very very much in tears and had lots of anxiety and was very worried about her recovery but Baker animal clinic took care of her sent her home with a very well cared for incision that was easy to take care of and help my cat heal! She is a week in and almost back to herself again! This clinic is awesome 10/10

Staff is super friendly.our dog was sick cause we had changed his food, I called they advised me to get some probiotics, which I did they called a couple of days later to check in on him

Always excellent service. Doesn't matter who you see everyone is always very caring and considerate.

These guys are pretty good. Its typically busy but the employees are super nice and I would 100% trust them with my pets. Theres also more than enough free parking which is a bonus.

Just had my elderly parents cat there, Maggie. Due to old age we had to send her away. Staff was great and compassion was beyond. Thank you.
