The greatest cream puff award goes to these folks. Well made, decently priced delicious pastry. One of my favourite bakeries in the city. They moved from Ossington station to Dufferin station.
A tiny little shop with the gummiest pastries and ice cream! They have so many unique flavours for ice cream, and I believe they’re the same company as Bang Bang. We tried the burnt toffee flavour and it was absolutely delicious. We also tried their cinnamon bun, coffee and rose water cream puff and they were all delicious. My favourite would definitely be the rose water cream puff. It was so light and fluffy, a great treat. The cinnamon bun had a brown butter-like flavour and it was so decadent. I’d definitely go back and try more of their items!
My first time trying out this bakery, my son decided to start us off with pecan butter tarts. Since we had done a butter tart tasting road trip in Ontario. The filling consistency was good but the taste of the pecans did not come through. The crust was a letdown- I think mainly it was not cooked through still a bit doughy. Maybe I will come back and try the other pastries. The 2 star was specifically for the pecan tarts.
Very tasty bakery by the Delaware entrance of Ossington station. Delicious ice cream sandwiches: your choice of freshly baked cookie and ice cream. The half sandwich is a great and filling size. Flavour suggestions: London fog on an old fashioned oat cookie, or chocolate^2 on an everything cookie (a sweet/savoury cookie).
Delicious cakes! Just wished they had some seating so I could enjoy my cake on the spot. Otherwise, my red velvet cake was delicately packed and lined with parchment paper, so it was in good shape once I got home.
Edit: Dropping rating from 5 stars to 4 stars. This is because last time I visited they would only allow me to buy 3 cookies of a specific flavour, not 4 as requested. On previous visits there were no such restrictions.
The other thing that bothered me was there were few too many customers in the store for the staff to handle. One of the staff members yelled out that people need to step outside in a rude and nasty manner. I understand there is a maximum capacity but the staff member didn’t have to be so mean.
I’ve only had their cookies and I keep going back for more. My favourite cookies in the city.
Good sweet stuff. Was there at the end of the day on Saturday, so selection in my case was limited. Will go again in the middle of the day when their shelves are sure to be stocked.
Great cakes however the service needs to be improved. The lady put one of the cream based tart sideway, resulting obviously in a very mushy situation when we opened the box. Those are delicates cakes, not sturdy cookies!
Easily one of the best bakeries in Toronto. So grateful they are in our neighbourhood. This is no-compromise excellence. I die for their lemon tarts - perfect nippy curd and rightfully crisp crust. And their perfect choux-choux-a-la-crème. Today they redeemed my faith in scones (so many bad ones). Huzzah to brilliant, hardworking team.
AMAZING bakery and at a really good price range considering the quality. We ordered several desserts such as the key lime pie, cinnamon roll, merengue pie cheese cake, peanut butter rice crispy square, and a few other items that we picked off based on how they looked. Everything was spectacular. You can order cakes from here but need to order at least two weeks in advance.
The london fog ice cream sandwich was nice! Their pastries look amazing, I’d love to try many of them soon! The shop is pretty small, you open the door and have to rummage and bend around the door to get to the front desk to order and pay.
A convenient pastry shop near the station. The Brownie $5.45 looks like a rich chocolate cake and is enough for two people. I had a friend who said that the carrot cake here was the best in town, so I decided to go next time. Card only / pay by cash, no change Feb 2022 - - - - - I bought the Cinnamon bun $5.25 because it was so big and looked delicious. It was full of cinnamon sugar, fluffy, and had an ideal sweet taste. It's filling and looks like a cake. Since the pandemic, I don't go inside the store and order from the entrance door. Oct 2021 - - - - - - Single size ice cream, 2 kinds, about $5 I went to Bloor because I heard that their ice cream was delicious. The espresso flavor here is by far the best coffee ice cream I've ever had. It looks like they use Sam James coffee beans. The second type I chose, Chocolate 2 (I think it's double chocolate), has lots of dark chocolate bars in it and is quite rich! If you like dark chocolate ice cream, please give it a try. Aug 2019
Absolutely phenomenal bakery. Best of the best. I would highly recommend the cinnamon buns, keylime pie, and banana pudding. They have many other wonderful things as well.
