Amazing! The spices used and the way they cook here is by far my favorite place yet! The chicken beef and lamb are all top notch! Gordon Ramsay himself wouldn't be able to find anything to complain about! Definitely coming back!

The lady has no gesture of customer service. The food is good, but the lady’s behaviour is very rude and unprofessional.
Never going back. Better to drive 1 kn to Bamiyan Kebab (better quality, better food, better Customer Service)

So far really good the chicken is amazing and rice.
Also the naan bread is better then other places.
Next time I will order a whole chicken with that red sauce wow that's amazing like a buffalo heat

As always a wonderful experience of Afghani authentic food and a very friendly customer service.

I was greeted by a friendly lady behind the counter and a large selection of food to choose from. I had the Beef Kofta Kabob Combo. It was fresh and juicy and the sauces accompanying it were great for dipping the bread in.

Juicy kababs, Nice big place, Afghan style sitting area, nicest people running the place. I'm so surprised this restaurant is anything less than a 5 star. Hidden gem really.

Great experience. Kind staff, reasonable pricing and great tasting food. Better quality than Kandahar Kabob and Bamiyan Kabob (the bigger Afghan food places in the GTA)

The moment you enter the restaurant the smell of the food is already making you hungry and then when the food comes you wish you can never get full. It was amazing. I definitely know where I’m going next time I’m coming to Mississauga.

They don’t fallow orders when you specifically ask for something. Older woman at the front very poor Cust service and they don’t have half stuff in the menu

Loved their Balochi Kebab, so flavourful and tasty. Loved everything that we ordered. After a very long time while eating I felt my stomach was full but I still craved for more. A big must try

Everything was delicious. The meats were perfectly cooked, juicy and tender. The favors were well done. One of the best Afghan spots.

This is our favourite place for ordering company lunches. The food is simply amazing and everyone loves it.

Bad reviews are unfair. This is a cheap place with delicious food. The people working there may not seem the friendliest upon first impression but are very nice and hardworking. Good food takes time. Live with it haters. Stop leaving negative reviews and hurting local businesses.

Doesn't matter how good the food may be really.attitude of owners is consistently bad. Like they're doing you a favor. No.people pay bakhtar kabab. So treat people with respect. And if you can't deal with people or have no patience.don't run a restaurant. No one calls or comes in to be mistreated over simple orders

Very good taste. Reasonable price. Much better then Watan kabab and Kandhar. They have lost there taste now

Clean restaurant and excellent customer service. Ordered the beef shami kebab wrap. Was fresh tasting, wish it had more flavor of the meat. But an excellent lunch option. Plan to try the chicken breast wrap next time.

They have amazing food. The owners are polite, very genuine and down to earth. The food is phenomenal. I have been here many times and still love going. Highly recommended.

The food is absolutely amazing. We ordered the party platter which had kabobs, plenty of rice, salad, fries, naan and they dipping sauces. The meat was tender and flavourful.
Definitely recommending this place and will be going back.

Amazing food! They were extremely polite and helping me figure out what to get and what are the best food items! The food gets ready super quick and affordable! The lady taking my order was super understanding because our english was not as good so lots of respect to her!

I 100% recommend Bakhtar Kabab

Their credit card machine wasn’t asking for a PIN and kept declining automatically. They said they “do not accept credit cards”. Then they took our credit card and tapped on a $2.00 fee.which is ok but this was their own machine’s fault. The lady at the front literally swore in Dari and had a lot of attitude. I wouldn’t recommend coming to this place. Plenty of afghan restaurants in the area that know how to treat their customers better. AVOID!

Sorry to say but worst shawarma in my life.

I am fan of shawarma but this place really really bad for shawarma don’t depend on the reviews they may be fake.

I’ve had so many different shawarma places around the GTA and nothing comes close to the bang for buck and FLAVOUR on their chicken shawarma plate, can’t wait to come back and try the different dishes, worth the 25 min drive from caledon. My god amazing food and great people! Thank you Bakhtar! Better than osmows, lazeez, all that garbage.

Will never again go to this place. I ordered lamb chops over the phone yesterday from Bakhtar they told me be here for the pick up within 15 minutes. I was on time. However, my order got ready after 45 minutes. I do not mind waiting long if the quality of food was at least in the range of industry standard.
It was boiled meat not BBQ! The texture of boiled meat is very different from when it gets BBQ-see photos. To make it even worse, they had to soak the meat in black paper to hide dark spots appeared due to long storage. No marinade even! They had tried too much pepper to compensate for the bad smell.
Lamb chop is my favorite food. I have tried different places in Ontario. I’m fully familiar with juicy and delicious lamb chops. Bakhtar Kabab by far is the worst one.
By the way non of the workers wore mask.
Any ways, it was so disappointing and I tossed out the meal. My question for the owner is: Have you ever tried the lamb chops? Would you eat them?

Hands down the best authentic Afghan food out there. Best keep secret. Fresh and tasty. Would bring anyone there for a filling meal!

I've been going to this place for quite sometime, and the quality of food is quite good. Compared to other kabob places, this one is my favourite. Large portion, good food at decent price. The chicken is always cooked to perfection and tender meat with their signature spicy sauce and seasoning!

Best Afghan food in the GTA area! I've tried many Afghan places, and nobody can beat their food. Their hot sauce is to die for, meat always juicy and flavourful. Service is great, amazing atmosphere.

Really great food. I was very surprised to see all the meat being freshly cooked right on the spot so expect a wait. The rice is really well seasoned and full of flavor. The chicken and filet are delicious.

Only debit and cash. Watch out.
Other than that the food is good. Portions smaller than Bamiyan but taste is similar.

OMG the food here is delicious. The owners were super accommodating and sweet. We came here 10 minutes before closing and they still let us sit and enjoy while they clean in the back. Amazing service.

Never pick up the phone. Poor service skills and the lady has a bad attitude problem. Food is decent but they need to learn how to serve customers properly.

Amazing owners, food is great and the prices are acceptable. This is authentic Afghan food and even has a prayer area for Muslims. I am a non Muslim and found the reception to be above and beyond. The restaurant was spacious and clean.

I stumbled onto this restaurant by chance. Friendly staff and a clean environment. The prices are economical. Portions are big and the food is delicious. All the kabobs are made fresh and upon order.

Let me put an honest review here, today Jan 21st, 2020 my family and I visited this restaurant and the old lady at the front was very rude and unprofessional. She needs more training into CS coz her tone is so bad. (owner read my honest review pls). The food was not bad, except the customer service as mentioned. Unless they dont improve with commitment the CS, I recommend diff. Location. Thanks

Always on point with the food here. Everything is great. From the signature Bakhtar Kabob to the Half chicken and other kebabs. Very clean and well run family business. Never disappointed here.

Absolutely love this spot that specializes in authentic Afghani cuisine! The staff is always welcoming. I recently moved to the Niagara region and had to make time to satisfy my cravings while visiting the GTA. I had the t-bone steak as always with fries and a salad. I introduced my bf to this delicious food for the first time and he had the lamb chops with rice and a salad which was equally as delicious! (we shared plates!) I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Also, we would definitely be interested in catering options for future events if available! Until next time.

This is one of the best restaurants in the City of Mississauga. It is 100% halal, family friendly, comes with a small outdoor patio, plenty of parking, personalized service, reasonable prices and the Chicken Shawarma Wrap tasted great. Must visit restaurant if you are ever in the area and looking for an alternative. The restaurant has made a small space where you can pray.

Halal restaurant, Tasty food, they serve hand slaughtered meat. Very busy at lunch time, closed on Sunday. Dinner time is not that busy, so it’s peaceful and table is found easily.or been lucky so far.

The food is very very tasty here. 5 Stars on the food. The lady at the cashier is very helpful when I was overwhelmed by the menu.

Get a double tikka platter (half steak chunks half chicken) with extra white sauce on the side.
