They have a variety of snacks and sweets. I really enjoyed the cardamom tea, Turkish tea was great too, the cakes were ok not my favourite I wouldn’t get them again, but the baklawa and cookies was definitely one of the best I’ve had. Great atmosphere too, the place is spacious with nice seating and table setups. Would love to try their Kunafa next time.
Visited this location for the first time, i was greeted with respect and kindness from a lovely woman named suzan, she was so patient and had a smile on her face the whole time. Very beautiful and lovely woman.the baklawa was divine and i would definitely visit again!
The best Baklawa in Ontario hands down. It is always fresh and my goodness is it delicious. They are clean and great with customers as well. Trust! P. S. Get the green ones.
The staff makes this place the worst! They are rude and not helpful at all, it’s like you are a bother to them when ask about the products, they assume you should know even though you are not familiar with this culture, I even emailed them to talk to the owner and still waiting for a call back, I went and spent 80$ in sweets! Very expensive and not worth the experience! There are better place with nicer customer service. Don’t waste your money.
By far the worst experience I’ve had at Balawa king. The customer service was absolutely awful. The lady taking my order had an attitude and wasn’t listening to what I wanted in my box of balawa.on top of that, she handled the balawa very poorly, tossing it in the box without any care… it’s not like the store was busy anyways. Extremely disappointed by my visit… I do not recommend going there (you’re better off going to crown pastries.they’ve got better customer service and better balawa).
The service was very bad. The girl was talking to me rudely. I asked her to give me halawat al juben she gave me different thing when I asked her what is this she said that she asked me to put this but she never asked me.
Recently Visited this location of Baklawa King, the desserts were truly delightful, offering rich flavors and beautiful presentations. However, the staff appeared disinterested and inattentive, which dampened the overall experience. Worth a visit for the desserts, but be prepared for subpar service.
The Kunafa we had was good, but the customer service lacked kindness. The man and woman helping us didn't seem to care as much about us as they did the Arabic-speaking couple seated in the middle of the restaurant. We got short answers and no small talk, meanwhile that couple was talked to over us as they were seated with full smiles and cordiality. I really wanted to like Baklawa king and was even thinking of getting one of their sweet baskets as a gift for a friend, but they really didn't seem to care about my business so I didn't care to give them any more of it.
I am a regular customer of Ballawa King, customer service is quite well, on time, following all healthy rules. They have diversity in their products, everything middle eastern tasty. I recommend it for everyone who likes to enjoy tasty and authentic style of food.
The baklawa is excellent here. The middle eastern sweets go great with the Turkish coffee. The ingredients of the sweets are very high quality. Staff is professional and friendly.
The food was quite good here. Food, as in, baklava and a few cookies we tried. We also enjoyed the Turkish coffee (even though the paper cups kinda ruined the experience).
What I wished was better was the person's interaction with us. The way he spoke, I didn't feel welcome and he wouldn't even let me order at my pace.
They don't welcome you in their shop when you walk in. The girls are very very rude. And they don't explain their packaging of their desserts. I asked a simple question and I felt like the girl was gonna slap me. Never again will I visit this location. I came from Windsor to enjoy their sweets. Terrible terrible service!
Almost every day I pick up my one slide of smooth Kunafah without syrup and go from this place. They know how to make the real Kunafah and never they changed the taste or the structure like the others in town. They serve great Turkish coffee as will and pure it on its tools. The service is good and quick, the cleaning star is well so far and the food quality is good therefore I give 4 stars unless things are changing in the future, I do recommend them for the real Kunafah in town. I will give the fifth star rating when they use the real cheese made with hand crafted as in Nablus city in Palestine, I hope they will do it one day even expensive I will buy it. Recommended
A go to place when you want to eat middle eastern sweets.
Have been their customer for years, and the quality never disappoints you.
Well maintained and very clean. Quick to serve customers. Very delicious variety of sweets. Lots of seating area inside the store, as well as a decent patio outside. May not be the best view, but it's good when you feel to sit outside.
You can order ahead of time and pick your order without further delays.
They serve Amazing baklava and kunafeh here. Grabbed a couple packs of 1kg assorted sweets to gift and A few for ourselves.every single item was fresh and satisfying.
A kg is about 33$, totally worth it! Will always be our first and last stop while in Mississauga
The cake I ate was delicious The patio outside is very nice. The tables outside were all dirty, no one came out to clean them, I cleaned mine so I could sit down
I went around 20 min ago, everything was really good, it was our first time buying here; we were excited about trying the coffee and dessert from this shop, all was excellent until when We were outside drinking our coffee, a driver of the restaurant started honking us so he can parked on the spot where we were. This was really disappointing.also, a spot was free beside us he could parked over there too.
I like Baklawa king, been coming to this location and Dundas one for 6 years. However, i believe the freshness and quality always varies. You are not always guaranteed that. They should be looking in being more consistent in that aspect,
I like the products.specially Middle East desserts are delicious however three things I do not like. 1 - Some of the workers there have bad attitude and careless packaging 2- big size per peace 3- price is high
Good staff there are Mamoul Backlawa Basema Karabeeg Basbousa
However, it is the only good option in GTA until get something better it is not a bad choice if you like Middle Eastern desserts
Very bad customer service. I called today Tuesday May 11 @1: 47pm to place an order over the phone.a guy answered and was very rude, he told me that they are very busy and he don’t have time to take my order! He hanged up the phone without taking my order! Great way to build ur reputation BAKLAWA KING

Wow, a place for all your baklawa needs and more. In addition to the baklawa staples, they have kunafa, ice cream, cakes, and the best nougat. A platter makes the perfect gift for a special occasion.
Great location, quality and service. I went and bought a plate of baklawa. The service prompt and the server was very helpful and efficient.the bakkawa itself is very tasty and fresh.its also not excessively sweet.this place is highly recommended for middle eastern sweets and we will certainly try it again soon as ut always exceeds expectations.
Amazing middle eastern sweets and some food. Great Cafe and coffee too. Friendly staff. Try the kanafeh in ka'ak (bread). Dessert sandwich! You know you want it. There goes your A1C.worth it.
Clean restaurant, good customer service. Variety of sweets, also very fresh. Was busy when I got there but only one staff member was working till another showed up for his shift and the service was fast there after. Well try again to better review in future.
This place reminds me of Istanbul with all of their delicious sweets and pastries. I highly recommend their petit four cookies especially the chocolate and pistachio flavours. Their Turkish coffee is very tasty; however, it is used to be better back in 2019. Always fresh. Prices are Okay. Highly recommend
Our go-to shop to pick up Baklawa. Always fresh and have lots of selection. The only reason for the two stars is their customer service needs Improvement. We always get boxes for Eid and called the store, and we're advised they don't take orders on the phone. Not an issue, but when my wife got to the store, the associate rudely says we should have called in, it just not acceptable. When she responded, saying we did, his attitude changed and was helpful, which was a tad too late. So for the food and choices, you will find lots of options and good quality, but for service, they fall short.
Went in on the first day of Eid. Was not very busy. There was maybe 10 customers inside. Was not greeted politely. I had never been there before. So I didn’t really know or understand what to order. They were not patient. I said hello and use my manners. Was not happy with the service. Very disappointed.
I lived in the Middle East for 37 years and Baklava King scores high on my scale for their baklava variety and taste. However, their kunafa taste is a too sweet, after few bites you feel this heavy sugar taste in your mouth, I find it hard to finish one small plate of kunafa without feeling too sweet that I don't crave their kunafa for at least a month easy till I forget how sweet it was. I wish they make it less sweeter so I can eat kunafa more frequently. It is still worth to try if you haven't tried Baklava King before, but get ready for a Middle Eastern sweet that is too sweet.
What a gorgeous spot! My family absolutely LOVED the assorted baklawa I brought over - I loved the classic pistachio baklawa myself. Staff is lovely and very helpful. Thank you!
We purchased kenafa today, I paid 16 $ for two pieces, It is not fresh and it is so dry, and not delicious. I don’t recommend buying kenafa from this store.
