Balzac's Coffee Roasters

Horrible service. My order was forgotten.when I remind about my order, the barista was disappointed and finally went to make my coffee. No appology. Girls were busy talking to each other. Not paying attention to the clients. The Wasshroom in the place was disgusting. I love Balzac cafe. However, this location is a big disappointment.

A cafe gem in Kleinburg. The coffee are fruitier and milder. A good place to hangout with the family.

Good coffee just so OVERPRICED. $4.70 for an Americano that isn’t even a medium size at other cafes. When did a shot or two of espresso and some hot water cost the same as a whole sandwich. I don’t get any syrups, sweeteners, milks/creams or nothing. Why charge me like I’m ordering some sugary latte?

The staff could also put a little more effort into service. A computer can take my coffee order and a machine can make the coffee, wouldn’t be bad to add a little human to the experience.

The woman with glasses wearing a LGBTQ shirt should not have a job after what I had witnessed today while in line. She treated a paying customer so poorly even I won’t be returning to this store ever again. The woman claimed to be the manager and refused to give her name to the customer, if she was in fact the manager she should be ashamed of herself for how she runs her business and how she treats people.

To be say the least, my first experience at Balzac's was satisfactory compared to prior experiences at locations in Toronto. Although the atmosphere is very inviting, the staff do not conform with said intentions; whereas Starbucks customer service was always highly notable.

The predominant concern is the hours of operation. Kleinburg can't be compared to the conditions of Toronto. I understand the hours at locations in the downtown area are limited due to lack of customers, however, the "happening" hours of Kleinburg occur around 6pm-10pm. The lifestyles of Torontonians and those of the Village are completely different, hence the need to adjust the hours of operation.

I had faith Balzac's would be the new spot to hangout with friends, chat, or simply grab a coffee and stroll down the strip late evenings. Unfortunately, it seems as Balzac's lack of response to any review not only proves the satisfactory customer service from management, but that we will need to find another coffee spot.

Overpriced flavoured lattes which taste like nothing but pure sugar.

Having paid 15 dollars for two large lattes (grande size cups at starbucks), I expected something a little bit better than to taste symple syrup or whatever they put in those lattes.considering both of them were "half " sweet.

Although we got two different favours (salted caramel and oat milk cookie) they tasted the exact same.

Didn't think i would say this.but even starbucks flavoured lattes are better.

Very nice clean cafe with really good selection of drinks and food. Cozy please to work for remote workers travelling in nice community of Kleinburg.

The service here is HORRIBLE. Filipino girl with glasses behind the counter (wouldn't give me her name- probably because she knew the service she gave was awful) was unnecessarily rude and argumentative, and claims to be a manager. I will never come here again. Don't waste your time and money at this place.

Good food and coffee. But did not get the best service, i felt as if i was being judged for my order. Could have been a better experience very disappointed.

Great quick stop for some coffee and cookies. There is parking out back and on the street. The espresso's are good and come in a real espresso paper cup. There is an affordable kids hot chocolate and cookie deal $5.50, that even my teenagers love. The pumpkin scones are a must try for the season. It seems they might have breakfast sandwiches but I didn't see them advertised.

They had seasonal coffees like lavender lattes and pumpkin spice coffee. Totally loved the vibe inside and the patio. Would definitely go back here if i am around the area.

Love this coffee place. It has a small town vibe and the coffee and the snacks are always good! A must stop if you are in the town.

Nestled in the heart of Kleinberg main drag this cafe competes with many other caffeine dispensaries and it more than holds its own.

The cappuccino and latte we had that day were quite good, the beans were flavourful and the taste was layered. It was a hot day and we actually started our patronage with cold drinks and a well-made beet salad. The cucumber water was outstanding and refreshing. The iced cappuccino was equally delicious.

The cafe is spacious and well air conditioned. The seatings outside are comfortable and far enough from the road to be enjoyable.

Overall best and cozy spot for break and have fresh coffee with great smile and service. Quite place at Islington Ave away from the busy life of Toronto.
Lot of coffee serves at this spot. Enjoy sometime to have a good coffee.
