This is our go to spot for take out Chinese cuisine it always tastes fresh, and arrives quickly when we order it. We have never had a problem with our order and the portions are great, you'll definitely have leftovers!
Everything you cold ask for in terms of Chinese takeout. The have meal options for families and single combos.

Staff is really nice and portions are great. If you are into american chinese food then this place is the go to

General Tao chicken is literally all big chunks of fried breaded bread balls.

I ordered just before 7: 00pm and they’re still preparing it at 8: 30, it says delivery will be around 9: 00pm. I have had multiple Uber delivery persons message me to tell me it wasn’t done and they don’t want to wait. The other reviews about delivery are right unfortunately. This is my first and now last time ordering.

Highly recommended. Been going here a few years now and noticeably better lately. Try the lemon chicken! Big portions and lots of veggies.

Staff and owners (I think it’s family owned and run) are all friendly, and the food is pretty decent. It falls between good but isn’t great. Standout dishes I’ve had was the Almond Chicken Soo Guy and the rest are basically at the good level. It tastes much like a decent neighborhood Chinese spot. They used to have done-in but seem to have scrapped that and just do take-out, now. The only dish I had that was bad was the Shanghai Noodle. It lacked flavor and just tasted bland, but most other dishes are as described, pretty good. The prices are a bit high, but not out of the range you’ll find in Spadina. If you’re craving Chinese food it will do the trick.

I love coming here on my lunch breaks. The food is fresh and their general tao chicken is so juicy, crispy and savoury. This place hits the spot!

Their combos are filling and hit the spot for that classic American Chinese. If you got a craving for Chicken Balls, Chicken fried rice and chop suey.this is the place.

Food was not as advertised. I ordered the Szechuan Noodles which was described as stir fry noodles with sauce. The dish was actually udon noodles, sauce, chicken and shrimp. As a vegetarian, I could not eat this dish and had to throw it out, when I called and asked they just said "oh that's just how we make it". If that's the case you should describe it more accurately on the menu and not give false descriptions.

We have ordered from here for years and the food, until the last 6 months or so, was alway amazing - delicious, quality and well proportioned. The last couple of times…things changed. And last night, the spring rolls were soggy, meat tasted off and everything was super greasy. A $125.00 takeout order and it gave us a sore stomach. Sad to say, we are now on the hunt for a new takeout Chinese.

Wonton soup was good. The pork could’ve been more seasoned. The general tso chicken was ok but quite dry and hard to chew.

I've been ordering from Bamboo Buddha for over 10 years. The food and service is still as wonderful as it was from day one.

New to the neighbourhood, first time coming here and the food looked good and tasted good. Will upload a photo of my food next time

Ordered here via DoorDash for the first time. Tried the chili chicken and it was horrible. Lacks a whole bunch of flavors.

I adore this restaurant! They provide first-rate food, they have a rich menu, The chief cook in that spot is well trained, I enjoy a lot eating all their dishes. The dishes are always of high qualtity, the attitude towards the visitors is efficient. I often go to this place and I not even once was unhappy. I recommend it to all.

Need some quick chinese food and it's the closest place that allow walk-in takeout. Got myself some wonton noodle soup and General Tso chicken.

Generally all the options seem to mix between western style and Hong Kong style. The popularity of the dishes does make the menu similar to most other restaurants. Large variety of on the menu with a small assortment of combinations.

Though I ordered two items, I found it to be very filling. In hindsight if I chose a combo for 1, I would probably get two meals for the price of one. The General Tso was really savoury especially served with the fried rice. The fried chicken chunks were positively great. Felt crisp and tasted like they were tossed in a wok with the sauce. The wonton noodle soup held up great in transit that the noodles maintained a good bite after a long ride. Though the steam did turn the bag into a moist enclosure after so long, both items were still either hot or warm.

Would return for more unless I can find a closer Chinese restaurant.

Was alright. A decent option of chinese food. Ordered a bunch of different dishes all were good including lo mein and chicken chop suey. Swear their chicken balls tasted like McDonald's mcnuggets. A good option for chinese food for that area.

Food is terrible, probably the worst ive ever had. Broccoli was not cooked crispy beef was brutal. I called to place my order they spoke perfect english then, i called after receiving my food to discuss the order and all of a sudden they dont speak english go figure.
The entire experience was terrible.
People stay away.

The portions are huge for the price, the dishes are flavorful and the definition of comfort food. I have always had the meals ready within 20-minutes of ordering which is great when walking to pick-up. One of my go to spots for Chinese in the city!

Lived beside the place for almost a year before we tried it. Now, as we go to move out, we regret leaving trying this for so long. We LOVE it. Any Irish people in Toronto that are craving a Chinese from back home, this will definitely curb your craving. The fried rice is top notch, and they serve curry sauce! The meals for one are huge, and super cheap at $10.50. Anyone in this area should definitely give it a try!

Great North American style Chinese takeout, well priced, tasty and generous portions. Hard to find a good old school Chinese takeout like this in the downtown core. This will satisfy your cravings!

Pretty low quality takeout. I ordered general tso and it tasted like pure deep fried dessert, no joke. Could not tell if there was actually any meat in my meal. Portions were big.

Very well kept and accessible restaurant. They provide large portions and for inexpensive prices. I loved the food a lot and the staff were very personal and chatty. Highly recommended.

Have an extra large bowl of wonton and noddle soup, no pork in it, not really tasty and offering to many sizes.

I frequent this outstanding place every couple of days since I like the ambiance that is exist in this place. The crew is awfuly friendly and professional. The service is extraordinarily efficient. Most important, the food they prepare is exceptionaly good. I have been there many times and I was always satisfied. The cost is fair. I highly recommend this restaurant to to all.

First time trying and was very impressed, from the time I called in for my delivery order I was impressed very great customer service, the driver was very friendly and pleasant. All the food we ordered was so flavorful, my guest kept asking where I ordered from. Very reasonabley priced, and good size portions. My new to go to place for Chinese Food. Thank you again.

This restaurant has excellent service as well as yummy meals. My favourite spot around town. The drinks and food came out quick and the rates are economical. Highly recommended.

Very nice staff, their lunch special is good! And they cook very fast too, don’t have to wait for too long, perfect for my lunch at work if I don’t bring one, I just walk over there.

When you imagine the basic flavour profile of any chinese dish.this place does it well and for cheap. Nothing spectacular but decent quality food by a truly kind family.

Great service. I order from here often and everyone is always very friendly. I really dig their wonton soup, spicy chicken wings, spring rolls, beef ho fun, buddha's delight and probably more I am forgetting.
