We ordered the Red Curry and Cashew Nut Chicken dishes. Service was friendly and quick, but both dishes were extremely salty. My stomach was in so much pain afterwards. For the price point, I think there are better Thai restaurants in the city.
Best Thai food in Mississauga! The fresh rolls are a MUST. Service is always great and food is always fresh. One of the places I will truly miss since we’re moving to the Niagara Region.
Try this restaurant! Great service from the owner. This restaurant serves many Thai and Vietnamese dishes (ex.noodles, sticky rice, curry, crispy spring rolls). Thanks for a great meal and will bring friends out to try your place.
Always impressed with their service and exceptional quality of food! I have friends that live in Wasaga, and they beg me to pick up their favourites on the way!
We ordered take out on Friday, and were very disappointed. We ordered the usual stuff (pad Thai, a couple of stir fry's), and the food just lacked the taste and flavor usually associated with Thai food especially vs other options like Pai and Khao San Rd in Toronto. We wouldn't go back to this place.
Always great food, and great staff. The food although it's always been good, never tastes the same twice. I'm guessing it depends on who's working in the kitchen at the time ️
Loveee the curry pad thai @ Bamboo! The flavours are amazing and the portion size is good. They have a cute and cozy dining room, with fantastic and friendly service. Family owned business, please support! Hidden gem in Mississauga!
The best Thai in the area. A bit pricier than others but worth it. Good portion size. Authentic pad Thai is awesome, as is the eggplant Curry. Recommended.
Bamboo Legend is by far my favorite Thai & Vietnamese restaurant. The food is always hot and tasteful. Before covid they had an amazing lunch special, bu dinner size is almost enough to feed two people. Support local and try this place if you havent!
Bamboo Legend customer for life! So happy that they opened up a location here in Mississauga on Dundas. I was a regular customer at their previous Port Credit location when I resided there. They also have an Oakville location. The food is always amazing here and made fresh and authentic! Be Patient if you need to WAIT - I guarantee you it is definitely worth it. I am extremely picky and there is NOT one item on the menu that I didn't love which says ALOT!
Really great, hidden gem. It was my first time and the food was delicious. I ordered tofu bites (divine!) and chicken and shrimp with peanut sauce. Amazing, not overpowering, flavours. I would definitely order again!
They will lie to your face and please if you do order from here make sure to double check your food before you go anywhere and the customer service is I don't care.
The quality of this restaurant is very good. They have a solid selection of Vietnamese and Thai food. Quality speaking the food is excellent. Try their red curry or their Pad Thai. They are always delicious
The place is wonderful and broad, the meals was enchanting and the prices were very economical.quick, effective service and very attentive waiters. I recommend this place.
Ordered the 'stir fry spicy basil rice". Came in 1 portion of meat + veggies, and a different portion of rice.was expecting them to be mixed as thats what a stir fry is. Tasted good, but the veggies were not cooked properly. Green beans still hard.was very dissatisfied with the separate portions. Also asked for hot sauce and nothing. It was good, but wouldnt come back
Service is quick and staff are friendly. Food is always consistent (usually get the green curry) with slight variations in spice level. Would recommend.
Honestly, wasn't even sure there was a restaurant there as the entrance was not appealing. However I was pleasantly surprised. The vegetables were fresh and crunchy. Food was very good, service was also. I'll certainly re-visit.
I had takeout, ordered the drunken noodles and chicken spring rolls. I was hoping the drunken noodles would have a bit more fire in them, but overall they were very good and exceeded my expectations. The chicken spring rolls were flavourful and substantial. I'm definitely returning here to dine-in.
Service is excellent. They're really attentive on keeping your water glass full.
The food is pricey compared your typical Viet/Thai restaurant. $16 for a shrimp and chicken pad thai. My only complaint was I would have liked more chicken and shrimp in it. I got 3 jumbo shrimp and about 8 small pieces of chicken.
The portions are decent. Not massive like Chinese food but a good size.
The food was very average, but the service was so so poor, that we couldn't even enjoy the average meal! Not something expected in the day and age that we are in!
Hidden gem in Mississauga. This is our go to place for extraordinary Thai food. It's always good; so if you ever want to impress anyone, take them there. Service is great as well. Drunken noodles is my comfort food at this place.
Tucked in a corner of a plaza, this gem is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Mississauga/Oakville area. You can't go wrong with their Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle or curries. The space is well decorated, service is very attentive and prices are extremely reasonable.
The food is really good and the portions are huge! I tried the Thai iced tea and the Vietnamese coffee for the first time and they are definitely a must try. Only reason I'm not giving it 5-stars is because the service was really slow, and they took an hour to bring out food even though there were only a few customers. Also, they never gave water or checked on us. We had to keep going up to the counter to ask for stuff.
Great place! Very clean, well decorated. Friendly staff and fast service. Saw their dinner special and they agreed to let me try the dinner special even though it was lunch time. Didn't feel rushed. Took all forms of payment. Would come here again.
My sister's recommend this place to me and it did not disappoint. The flavours were on point. Authentic and true to the source nation's. The service was excellent. Timely and not overbearing. Remember with Asian restaurants if you need something don't be afraid to raise a hand to ask. Will come back.
My grandparents showed me this place, and it's awesome. Super impressed with the food and service. The crispy tofu appetizer is unreal. I would go back again and again for it. I ordered the Pho and that was fantastic. The servings are huge so be prepared to take some home if you can't finish.
EXTREMELY Overpriced and the worst pad thai I can imagine forever. Ordered shrimp+tufu pad thai and they charged like 23 CAD. Taste was awful AWFUL SO BAD! I ordered this 5 month ago and still remember it so I write this review. I would never go back here even if they offer free foods!
It's a decent little Thai restaurant in Mississauga. Food is authentic and taste is really good. They are known for Pad Thai. We also loved their Fried Rice. Service is pretty good and food was tasty. Portions were a bit smaller than other Thai restaurants but it's not too small either. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Bamboo Legend is hands down the best Thai restaurant I've ever eaten at. The food is prepared to order and is made with only the freshest ingredients. Most, if not all, their dishes can be prepared using only plant based ingredients making it a great option for vegans. Service is always friendly and welcoming. Been going here for years and plan on continuing:)
Excellent place for pad thai noodles. The food has authentic asian flavours. The interiors are plane and simple and hospatility is excellent. I went there with my wife and were surprised with the quality and quantity of food. One plate pad thai noodles were sufficient for 2 of us.
The server was nice and the restaurant was nice as well. Nice ambiance and clean. However, the food here is subpar. The creamy peanut curry was literally peanut sauce with pieces of chicken and fruit and cucumbers. Very bland. The green curry was very much the same. Please work on the food as this restaurant could be so much better.
