I got my first significant tattoo at Bamboo Tattoo Studio, and it was amazing! Enrik, my artist, did an outstanding job and made me feel super comfortable. His passion for what he does really shows in his artwork. Best tattoo experience ever. I highly recommend Bamboo Tattoo Studio—the whole team is nice and welcoming. Loved it!

One of the BEST experiences I’ve ever had. I got to meet majority of the staff, they were all so kind. Made my first tattoo a lot easier than I expected. I got my work done by Najee and he was phenomenal. A very talented artist. I would also like to point out Luca, the store manager, for checking up on me before, during and after my tattoo. One of the most professional people I have ever met. Overall, it was the best experience I could have ever asked for.

I’ve been looking for a tattoo artist that is versatile in their work and someone who i can get along with. That’s exactly what I found in Mia. She was super sweet and easy to work with. Not to mention so patient with understanding my tattoo ideas and really making sure she brought my ideas to ink. I love love loveeeee my new tat and can’t wait to continue to visit her. Amazing location! I have been to many other places and this place seems to be the best. Luca and the front desk are awesome. Had an amazing first tattoo experience with @alin.tattoos. My chocolate labrador passed recently and I wanted a something of him to take with me everywhere I go.

Recently got a forearm piece done by Massimo. I found him through instagram and this piece is hands down my favourite out of all my tattoos. The shop is clean and well taken care of. Massimo is the most real and professional artist I’ve ever dealt with. He put so much effort into my piece and I couldn’t be happier with it. I will 100% be back to finish my sleeve. Booked my stomach tattoo with Massimo and I could not be happier! Firstly the shop gives pure luxury, as an avid follower of Bamboo I couldn’t wait to see the inside and it is truly beautiful. My tattoo took 2 sessions to complete, this really worked to my benefit as the second session went so smoothly and I had minimal pain. Massimo is an incredibly talented artist, easy going and such a good vibe to be around. He definitely has LIGHT hands, I hardly bled at all. He provided all the aftercare info and second skin to ensure the best healing process. I’m over the moon about my tattoo, it’s sooo much better than I was imagining and I’m grateful to have had the experience at Bamboo…I’ll definitely be booking again with Massimo!

My experience with this shop has been nothing but exceptional. Called to book an appointment and was told the artist books were currently closed but they would see what they could do to help me out as I only wanted this artist. I got a call back 3 days later saying that the artist had a agreed to allow me to book which was extremely nice of them. My consultation was fantastic and the artist had taken the time to find better reference photos than I had submitted and also had a lot of suggestions to help make the sleeve a more composite piece. All of the staff I have interacted with have been welcoming and extremely friendly. To those reviews complaining about pricing: YOU DO NOT GET A LAMBORGHINI FOR FIAT PRICING. The artists here guide you to make sure you will have a long lasting tattoo and if it is something that isn't going to work or would not last they will tell you this. If there was an option to give a 6 Star review I would have done it. Highly recommend.

Dexter is a legend, tattoo was exactly what I wanted and he went above and beyond by helping me plan out the rest of my arm. Price was crazy good for the quality that he puts out. Atmosphere and customer service in the studio was 10/10

Enrik took the design i asked for to another level! When i had a bad tattoo i wasnt happy with dexter was able to convert the tattoo into what i originally wanted along with a very realistic leg sleeve that was looked into from the smallest detail. If your looking for something crazy go to dexter continues to impress me with his work ability and professionalism.

I was referred by someone to their tattoos artist not going to mention the artist's name. I reached out to her through Instagram. It took 2 weeks for her to get back to me. She requested further information and asked me to email her. It took another week for her to get back to me. She asked me to see another tattoo artist as she said she only do realistic tattoo? What a joke I never asked to do an animation tattoo.
I feel like I have wasted my 3 weeks. Why don't they just make a simple process?

On time professional dexter was great was able to fit mine and my wife’s tattoos in one day and they look great

I saw a bamboo tattoo 30 years ago and I wanted one ever since, so I had really high expectations. I booked an appointment with the artist, Pepsi for two bamboo tattoos. I cannot believe how amazing they turned out! I would go back to Bamboo Tattoo and get tattooed by any of the artists, especially Pepsi again!
UPDATE: I now have 4 bamboo and 7 machine tattoos from Pepsi and my wife has a tattoo from Pepsi and 1 from Madtatt. All of our tattoos are absolutely stunning! Complete strangers compliment us specifically on the tattoos we got from Bamboo Tattoo. I like their work so much that I've recently put my career on hold and am now learning to tattoo with a rotary machine and have plans to learn how to tattoo using the bamboo method!

The bamboo tattoo studio is beyond ones normal expectation of a tattoo studio. The interior is beautiful, the tattoo chairs have multiple pillows for comfort, they prioritize cleanliness. And to top it all off, they only have high quality artists to choose from. The artist who did my work yesterday has me speechless with gratitude today. This piece is even more beautiful than i was expecting possible from a tattoo. The artist took the time on the finest of details, and truly embodied immaculate service. I want even more tattoos now that ive experienced how good a tattoo can really be.
*also they have an atm on site. Was really convenient. And plenty green p spots in sight of the enterance.

Bamboo Tattoo was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Friendly staff, clean, great atmosphere and very responsive. I came here to get my first tattoo and I did reach out to a few shops but Bamboo (Jesse) was the most helpful and responsive with all my questions.
Danika was the tattoo artist I worked with and she was absolutely amazing and walked me through everything. She was very patient and gentle.
I may actually be back for another one. I had a very pleasant experience with Bamboo and Danika.

I was able to do a quick visit thru a close friend and the studio is done beautifully inside and staff is very friendly. Great atmosphere!

I had a great experience with Travis, his animal art is exceptional, especially lions and other big cats.

I can only speak about Travis here, he refused to put any time into developing a concept. Avoided all emails and contact until the day of the tattoo, even then all he did was slap a photo I gave him on an arm for me to review with 0 design work and 0 effort. He convinced me to continue through saying it would turn out great. By the end of it he realized how bare the peice look so scrambled to add in more. The portion he copied looked OK, the additional parts look terrible and uninspired. Thank god I was able to find another artist to go over his work at a much cheaper cost. Terrible experience for my first tattoo and would never go back here. To add insult to injury Travis won’t even return my emails or calls to fix what he did. That being said the facilities are clean just don’t expect creativity, it’s copy and paste or nothing from my experience.

I a great experience, everyone is really friendly and super helpful with anything you might have to ask, I highly recommend Travis he’s great with any concept you could think of, especially realism, this is now my go to tattoo studio for any tattoo!

Long overdue review. Got work done almost 4 years ago and couldn't be happier. Had a cover-up done over a really bad piece and some new work added. In whole almost an entire arm sleeve for a very reasonable price. Was impressed with the time Todd took with me to go over what my cover up was and why I wanted it. Pepsi did the work and I couldn't have expected a better result. Extremely happy with everything and have recommended shop to others and will continue to do so. Thanks for my great ink!

I saw a bamboo tattoo 30 years ago and I wanted one ever since, so I had really high expectations. I booked an appointment with the artist, Pepsi for two bamboo tattoos (dragon and tiger). I gave him very little to work with and he came up with the most gorgeous designs. The first thing I noticed when I walked in the studio was that EVERYTHING was spotless. It was so clean it was incredible. The attention to detail was outstanding. All the staff were friendly and professional. That was three weeks ago. My tattoos have healed perfectly. The design is so awesome that everywhere I go people stop to admire them. Even people who hate tattoos have all admitted that these are the exception to the rule. I would go back to Bamboo Tattoo and get tattooed by any of the artists, especially Pepsi again!

I just had my nose pierced today by Dk (Danika). I'm one of those people who is scared of the pain and it was my first piercing! But she was so friendly and nice and calmed me down.she was so professional i didn't feel a thing! And she explained everything (cleaning instructions) very well.i definitely recommend going to her!

I recently booked Danika for a helix piercing and had a wonderful experience. The studio was clean, hygienic, and all safety precautions were taken. Danika explained the whole process and I felt calm every step of the way. Would recommend the piercing services here to anyone!

Late last year I got my first tattoo. (Yay!) I did not book ahead and they took me in same day. Can’t remember the guys name but he was super tall, kinda funny, and took my idea of what I wanted and gave me something I absolutely love!

Went in a small tattoo.they ended up convincing me I needed a full sleeve for $3000. The day of the appointment, the artist showed up an hour late.he then started designing the piece. According to the owner, it's normal for customers to wait hours in the lobby for the artist to finish designing the tattoos.

I regret ever coming to this place. Safe yourself being hassled and disrespected.

Firat visit there. Saw guest artist Jace and he was amazing. Very personable and friendly. Definitely recommend people seeing him.

Todd misinforms the artists when they actually have clients scheduled. So because he told the artist the wrong date, they decided to remove all of my already booked appointments after already having a deposit put down. Definitely would stay away.

Got a tattoo here about two months ago and overall it was a great experience. Clean venue and nice staff. Would definitely come back!

I waited a while to post because I really didn't want to be angry when I wrote it. My son got his first tattoo there (a diabetic tattoo) that meant something to him. We did our research and this place had good reviews. My son went for his appointment and the artist was 45 mins late to start the tattoo. The artist then was inturpted by the receptionist with her cell phone asking about plans later that evening. Then he took off his gloves after being all set up to make.a social phone call. About half way through the tattoo he again got distracted by another artist who needed help with her camera, finally after what was supposed to be a three hour tattoo that ended up being almost five in a half hours He was done. The tattoo was super expensive and my son is going to have it re done due to the the ink being overworked into his skin causing an horrible mess. Would never recommend this place to anyone. There are a lot of cheaper places that do better work.

I walked in randomly and was immediately served and taken care of! I was given a coffee while waiting and shown all the available artists on an iPad. The decor is beautiful, I just got a small tattoo which was quick however the service made me feel like I was getting a sleeve.

This review is specifically for NINA. I’ve had horrific tattoo experiences in the past and I went to her before she came to Bamboo and trusted her with doing my sons portrait. SHE COMPLETELY TOOK MY BREATH AWAY. I literally get compliments every single day on how real my tattoo is. I will never let anyone tattoo me ever again. She is a true artist!

My friend and I were reffered here by my brother. The facilities are beautiful and clean, and the staff is courteous and friendly. Our artist, Drew, was very knowledgeable and helpful in making our design work for what we wanted.

I’ve gotten all my tattoos from Bamboo, my most recent was yesterday. Drew did an amazing job on my rose tattoo. She also did my boyfriends first tattoo and he absolutely loves it. Studio is very clean and friendly. Couldn’t be happier.

Best Tattoo shop in Toronto! Clean, big, nice parking available, good location and all the Artists are Amazing. Owner is super nice.
Only downside is when you call to book an appointment the female receptionist seem kind of lost and don't have a clue about prices availability artists ect.one time I called to book and I was told to text the girl she took like 24 hours to reply then 3 days to reply? Better just to walk l in and book.

Get away from this shop if you’re tryinna get your first tattoo. I went for a consultation and I let the person who I talked to that its gonna be my first tattoo and told him what I want and what size I want but instead of him making me feel free about what tattoo i should get or size I should get, he told me that they only do tattoo that would cost less than $2000 which is basically half a forearm tattoo, okay dont get me wrong their artists are amazing but they make you feel like you got no say what size tattoo you should get. I told the person I would want the size of the tattoo to be around 5”x4” but instead told me that they cant do that and it has to be big because they do very detailed tattoo, which made me think if they think their that nice they should be able to do a very detailed tattoo for a medium or small tattoo. Okay long story short, the person who I talked seems like he was tryinna hustle me since its gonna be my first tattoo and think i dont know anything. Dont go to this place if youre tryinna get your first tattoo save your money and go else where, chronic ink or playhouse tattoo can do same quality tattoo for less money.

I recently got a tattoo from bamboo tattoo and it turned out wonderful the service was great. Very helpful. Antonio is the guy that did my tattoo and he was amazing. I hope to get more work done by him in the future.

Very pretentious and demeaning towards newbies and small tattoos. Check out other shops like Chronic Ink

Talented artists, but extremely poor customer service. I took my sister to her appointment and was told to come half an hour later. Showed up at that time, was told ANOTHER 45 minutes. Waited until then. 2 MORE HOURS went by and she still had not received my tattoo. Waited over 3 hours in total just to be looked at. Was told the owner would be back in 15 minutes so I could speak to him regarding the extreme wait time and he never showed up. Tattoo took 10 minutes to do and was NOT worth the wait at all. When it came time to pay, NO compensation was given. No gift card for another tattoo, NOTHING. Extremely disappointed with Bamboo Tattoo, especially after the amazing experience I had getting tattooed by Okami 9 months ago.

Hands down the best shop in Toronto. Amazing atmosphere the building itself looks amazing. Everyone is so welcoming and helpful.

Just a spectacular experience! My friend and I visited studio for the 1st time after texting with Todd the owner to set up appointments. I read some negative comments here about Todd but we found him a total sweetheat to deal with from start to finish. The studio is amazing, pristine cleanliness standards - even in customer bathrooms, and the decor is more like an exclusive nightclub with really good lighting Antonio (visiting from Spain) was our artist and he did Mandarin character for "monkey" - the size of a quarter, on my 'monkey' + a beautiful, large original back-piece for my friend. Loved the place, loved the vibe, loved the artists, loved the price and loved the owner Todd!
