Worst restaurant hygiene standards ever seen in my life. Who would expect a cashier lady with 5cm long nails to go back to the kitchen maskless and start handeling your food with all 10 nails. Maskless random people running in the kitchen all over people's food. Phone Order took 35 min and only got made because I reminded them of it. From the cashier tossing my receipt and change down the table with an attitude to what've seen watching their kitchen, I left that order behind and am never coming back.

They put your hot kabob wrapped in aluminum foil to give you alzheimer bonus, very frustrating.

Been visiting this location for 14 years now. Food and Service is good. The plaza gets busy during weekends as there are lot of restaurants which could make parking an issue.

Been a customer since they opened in thorncliffe, their taste has been the same which is the best

Their kabobs are delicious but small in portion size. It's getting smaller daily haha but overall very tasty afghan foods here. You must try their Tandoori chicken!

Worst customer service. One of my ordered was messed up. I had to drive up all the way from east end to get a replacement. The manager was very very rude no apologize, I was asked to pay for the food again since I didn’t bring the food back. Very disappointed, they don’t care about Covid or any sort of rules. Just ATTITUDE because they have the business now! Please train your managers!

Bamiyan Owner Sorry but you have lost our business, Indian Lady Manager at this location is very rude and doesnt care about customers service, We will be going to Afghan Cuisine beside your restaurant and redirect all our friends and family and make sure not to go Bamiyan restaurant because of rude customer service, manager was very very rude no apologize, Just ATTITUDE because they have the business now! The tikka kabob was good, but the vegetables were old and not fresh. Really long wait times just for a wrap, poor customer service.

The food takes for ever to prepare and once it’s done you get over cooked kabobs and it’s so dry. I feel like the meat isn’t fresh here. And what’s up with the red sauce? I used love their red sauce now it’s so nasty. And the salad is old too.

Been coming to this location for a few year for the excellent food.
On my last visit noticed that the cleanliess has degraded. Tables and chairs were sticky, and not properly wiped down. Thereforre downgrading to 1 star.

Food quality has dropped significantly, other competitors are taking over their market share. I don't know if i will visit bamiyaan again

Great flavour and portions, with extremely fair prices! The service was quite slow, but the food was fantastic. We got the tandoori chicken kabob and the kofta kabob dinner:)

Every year the customer service goes downhill. Each time they keep getting cheap with the white sauce and keep giving you the red sauce assuming everyone wants it! Quality has gone down. I will be trying other Afghan restaurants around this area instead.

Poor customer service, portion of meat is way less than it used to be. Overrated restaurant. Expensive food not worth the money at all.

Ordered the barg. Meat was great and portions for the price were fair. Even after driving 15 minutes home, the naan kept its texture. Service was slow and staff not particularly friendly. Would eat here again.

I ordered the tandoori chicken with nothing else. 6 pieces of tandoor chicken and it took half an hour. There was another customer who came in and the served him first because they were acquainted with him. The worker in the front was very dismissive as well.

The review is directed towards the behaviour of the desk staff who take orders - this is not a food review. They are rude and lack courtesy. Last week they missed an item from my order. I went back today and was so put off by the behaviour of the staff that I walked out of the store without ordering again. It would be helpful if they could be given some training on customer etiquette.

I pay $19 from meal and a messed up my order I want back to complain the manager decided to be rude no apology nothing and she was keep arguing with me instead of fixing it and she told me not to come here you can go somewhere else

Excellent service. I always get their kofta kabobs (minced beef) and chicken chaple kabobs. Their half chicken is also very flavourful. You can call to order as well which is a real convenience! Clean facility as well.

This place is awesome! The prices are definitely going higher, but the service is great and the taste of the food is phenomenal! Definitely recommended. Please try! Great for the whole family!

If you're out shopping at Costco and are raving for some kabobs then you're at the right place. I had tandoori chicken plate and chicken korma here. Tandoori chicken was very tender and delicious. Rice was good too. I was expecting something else when I ordered chicken korma, it was ok and tasted tangy. I was a bit disappointed with the naan as I have had better before. The naan was basically a bread which was difficult to chew in few mins. The place was clean and was busy. I noticed people preferred take outs. So the 4 star is for the Tandoori chicken and rice.

I don't understand why they have a phone line if they're never going to pick it up. They have lost hundreds of orders to Afghan cuisine and Kandahar kebab due to their negligence.fix up or close up.

These people really know how to grill meat. I usually get the chicken or tikka and the meat comes off the grill hot and juicy. No burnt pieces anywhere. You might have to wait a little but it's worth it.

The side are served fresh. Salad is crispy and the rice is has excellent texture. I think the bread they include is made from scratch in house. Quality is top notch.

Prices went up recently. But the portions you get is gigantic. Still very competitive compared to other fast food places.

My family and I love the food here. It is quality Afghani food that is simple, delicious, and affordable. The kebabs are flavourful and are accompanied by a full plate of delicious rice and salad. If they ever have any daily specials, I highly recommend asking about and ordering them. Good for a quick bite or a leisurely meal.

Been to multiple bamiyan kabob locations. Haven't had a " bad experience" before. This location is pretty good too, staff were friendly and food was great. The only thing was my chaplee. It was very very dry. Other than that everything else was great.

Delicious food. Tables are well arranged and good size. Nice staff working there. Wide selection of menu items. Food is made fresh and hot. Warm atmosphere (and I mean temperature wise) which makes for comfortable dining. Free parking but it's most of the times full.

This is my personal favourite restaurant. It has amazing food and is very clean. IT IS A MUST GO PLACE!

The food was alright, but for some reason they don't accept cards, so I had to find an ATM and get cash to pay for it.

One of the best kebob places in the vicinity that's great value for the price. Convenient takeout spot that takes the orders on the phone.

Tried different things on the menu including the mantoo (Afghani dumplings), but you can't go wrong with the chicken and kofta kabob dinner. Good portion including rice, salad and bread. The dumplings were juicy with the same spices as the kofta, but an acquired taste of you're used to Chinese dumplings.

If it's not the best place for afghan food it would be in the top 2. I have been going to Bamiyan Kabob for 10 years and the food is always fantastic. Since the first visit. Can't go wrong.

Went to this location the first month it opened and since then, it's maintained the same great food which keeps me coming back for more. My only complaint is that it's pretty much impossible to call them to order an item for pick up. They never answer the phone!

I've been going to this place for well over a decade. Easily the most consistent resteraunt I've ever been to. I take everyone who hasn't been there at least once. Best kebobs and chicken breasts hands down. The rice and naan are unmatched. It's a must go for anyone in the GTA.

The tandoor chicken meal is good but i am not fan of the boring salat and the lemony dressing they give. They need to add more variety to their salads or get better dressing. The meat is good. Rice is your standard fare
