Banana Republic

I have gone to this Store to buy a pair of pants and a jacket, I went to the fitting room and my wife just followed me into the room to help by matching clothes, at this time their manager asked my wife to come out of the fitting room with rude manner and behaviour, I told him that she is here to help me but we were told that it is against the policy. It's nonsense, I left the store immediately and bought my stuff from another shop. These people need to get proper customer service Training.

Had a very nice experience here when my husband and I came to shop. We were assisted by Roger who provided phenomenal service and professionalism. He was very knowledgeable when helping us find the right size.

Awesome staffs, very professional and kind. Amanda would go extra mile to find you the best deal, and Jaine (excuse my spelling) is very knowledgeable abiut the mens products.
You don't see these kinds of service anymore, not even in Harry Rosen, but you do here, while saving up big time compares to other retailers.

Super nice employees, we weren't able to find the right size in this store so they went to check which other stores had the size in stock. Then she called the store to make sure they had it and to keep it in hand so they can ship it to our home address.

Super friendly, bringing to us similar items to what we were trying on in the fitting room.

Definitely applaud the customer service training at this location!

I bought a very cute pink shirt. However after wash, the shirt was shrinked. I asked them to return. They told me I can’t return, because this shirt was washed and tag was off. I followed washing instruction on the tag! How the heck you know a shirt will shrink without washing it.

This is first time in my life bought a shrinking cloth. I’ve heard about cloth might shrink after wash, but I never experienced it. I will no longer waste my time on this brand.

First time visiting this mall on Sun June 23rd. Myself and my wife visiting from Ottawa. We walked into the store to check out the merchandise. I was checking out the men's sections and my wife was looking at the women's side. There were two east asian male employees walking around and greeting or helping other east asian and white customers (we are neither). They completely ignored other races who walked into the store. I mean not even greeting or asking if we needed help. There were a few south asian employees in the back on cash and when we paid for our stuff, the girl taking our payment asked us if anyone helped us out, I looked at my wife and said I didn't get ANY help, did someone help you out, she looked at me and said none, and loudly said not even those two guys and pointed at them. The cash girl just smiled and shrugg off. The wife also said loudly the customer service is a whole lot better in Ottawa stores and everyone gets treated equally. We just paid for our stuff and left. Unfortunately we experienced this in some stores in the mall and only with east asian employees who just ignored us or were too busy to help us out or even answer a question. These people seriously need diversity training.

This store will close in March 2019 as part of Gap announcing a plan to close 200 stores in North America while opening new stores under the Old Navy and Athleta names.

Literally the best shopping experience at a banana republic in my life! Vanessa and Jackie are very professional, kind and patient. They were so helpful in getting me and my boyfriend the right sizes I needed. They attended to anything I needed and even when they didn’t have the correct size for the pant I was looking for they called Yorkdale and told the sales associate to put them on hold for me. They are both very honest and just great people in general. If you want good customer service to to this location! Seriously the best customer service I have received yet. Me and my boyfriend live in Toronto and came to this mall instead of Yorkdale and we don’t regret it at all! So refreshing to meet such kind beautiful people. Thank you for all your help Jackie and Vanessa!

Changed the experience from bad to worse.
Went there to return an item purchased online. Customer service representatives told me to go to any store and make the return or mail the item back.
I chose to go to store to save time with getting refund.

The store manager said their system was archaic and that customer service representatives on phone do not always provide correct info.

Long story short, drove 30 mins going to the store, 30 mins back and 1 hour with the store manager discussing about the return. 2 hours wasted.
Needless to say more time was wasted with customer service people on the phone.

I like their deals and clothes but unsure if they are worth going back to.

What a welcoming store. Jackie and Vanessa are took care of us from the beginning to the end. They have excellent customer service and
I love this store more than any other. I buy most of my stuff at banana republic and it’s great to find a store that I can come to and leave happy every time.

My visit to this store was pleasant. The people here were welcoming and helpful. It's small store. I visited this store looking for specific items. They were not available, although the website indicated that they're available here. I ended up buying other items I liked.

Extremely helpful and friendly staff - not the widest selection and stock though. I’d shop here again in a second though.

Nice customer service. The best thing I like it about banana republic is that they carry petite sizes which makes my live so much easier.
