I took my son's iPhone in to repair the charging port. We had tried all of the online tips and tricks, but couldn't get it charging.
We were cheerfully greeted by Bahroz (I hope I spelled it right, sorry). He immediately inspected the phone, and much to my embarrassment, he pulled a large piece of lint out of the port. After a quick cleaning, the phone was good to go. It took two minutes, and he did his job with a smile. Very kind gentleman. I highly recommend this store. I will definitely go back for any computer/phone repairs in the future.

My laptop need an new battery and they said they placed an order from the factory and will let me know when it arrived.
It had been solid 6 months.i contacted them like 20 times. But in the most of times i can only reach the voice mail, in the few times i reached a human they just told me to keep waiting.
I'm so done i cant waste any more time here. And i recommend you dont waste your time as well.

I would not recommend this place at all. Brought a laptop in on Tuesday to get fixed. I was told they would call me with estimate. They did not. I called them on Thursday and found out estimate, and gave them the go ahead to fix it. They said it would be ready on Saturday and they would call me. Well, they did not. I called Monday morning, repairs are not even started. I picked up the laptop as I could not wait any longer. The laptop was in worst condition than when I brought it in. I had to buy a new laptop this morning. No customer service! I definitely will not be going back!

I did give them a chance to make it right as per the comments below from owner and a call received from the owner as well. I am pleased to say that store owner made efforts to help and we came to a reasonable agreement. I still had to fork money for a new laptop so I wish the service would have been great from the start but at least they took to time to help afterward and I am giving them much credit for that. So 3 stars and no longer one.

After an 'authorized' dealer told me my iPad was vintage and obsolete, I brought it in to Banana Service, they repaired my battery and Tristar board and it works just like new again.

They also stressed the importance of using Apple or MFI certified charging cables only. Grateful for all their help and expertise.

My iPad battery was cooked and needed a replacement. Banana service replaced it in under a days time and got back to me with a extremely fair price. Best computer/iPhone repair shop in town hands down. Never lets me down.

I sent my laptop in may 19th after four of the keys stoped working, they said they would get back to us either that day or the next. It took them almost a week to just tell us whats wrong with it, they said it had hardware damage they said they would have to order the part which were we were ok with. After, we've had to constantly check on it since every time we ask when it will be done they just say it will be a week. The main concern with this is that i am a student and since schooling is online currently i dont exactly have a lot of time which is why we chose to go to them. I completely understand that there are other people going to them but the fact that they can never give us an actual date it will be done it kinda disappointing

Terrible customer service, twice we took devices in with charging cords and they came back without the cords and they insisted that the cords were not there when they came in. They don't call to let you know when the device has been repaired. We purchased an android box that did not work properly at our house and they refused to take it back.

They were okay, not my usual repair place. Offered repair on two phones, one with battery damage the other severe water damage. Slow repair, took over a week, and they were unable to override the passwords on the phones, the text data was what was requested. Also the repairs were VERY expensive costing almost 900 for two devices. Overall for near 1k I would think they would be able to work a little faster and without as much assistance from the client. I am still waiting to see what they have accomplished a week later.

*edit, it took three weeks to get both phones and information back. The Samsung still hasn't been unlocked, and they tried so many times it locks you out for over an hour each time now. Super disappointed in the quality of the service and the repair of the product. They were unclear as to what they were capable of doing and the cost. For close to 1 k of work you would think the end result would be a two usable phones. Nope. The iPhone is a brick. They pulled the data off it (not all data) and gave me back a memory stick (that had to be paid for) and a dead phone the Samsung now turns on. But we can't get into it.dissatisfaction guaranteed

I would highly recommend Banana Service. I went in today with a phone that I thought could possibly be beyond repair. The individual that I spoke with was extremely professional and honest. I was lucky that the damage was not as bad as I had thought, obviously they are the experts! They could have easily kept the phone and charged me what they originally quoted and I would have never known the difference but they didn't. I will not hesitate to use them in the future and will definitely recommend them to anyone I come across with a damaged phone.

I came to them to see if I could recover some data from a Samsung phone that failed. They told me the phone was fixable but not economicaly given its age. They tried few simple things at no charge but none worked. At the time I decided to forgo the data. I felt I was given "straight goods". I was confident there was no attempt to take advantage of me. Next time l have a problem like that I now where I go.

Went in to ask about a screwdriver for an iPhone. Older guy between the counter was extremely rude and unprofessional.

The person who buys phone cant even be there or even train someone else to buy phones, poor excuse for a company

Fast turn around time, with really excellent communication throughout the whole process. They have access to non-Apple parts to make iPad/iPhone repairs cheaper too. This is a great repair shop!

Theres only 2 places in Peterborough I send customers for repairs. This is one. These guys are great especially if you need computer repairs.

Service was slow (more than a month), I had to take the lead to make it happen, and inferior quality products were used twice - replacing the battery in my phone.

Phone call informed me that they do not carry internal laptop hard drive cables. What use is this business? I could buy the same products they sell at Walmart, probably cheaper.

Excellent service. Fixed my laptop, which a technician, I went to initially having many years of experience, was unable to fix and suggested me to buy a new one instead. Thank you Banana services.

Great service. Reasonable prices.can do most things and know if its just unreasonable to fix. Bit pricey on cell screen protectors but.oh well!

If you have any issues related to computer then you must contact with Banana Service Computer Repair Center. They are exceptionally great in computer repair service. Their staff is really knowledgeable and efficient in their work.

Ended up breaking a connection in the psu while cleaning out my ps4 pro and looking to change the thermal paste as the fan was getting loud. They fixed the connection and even finished the thermal paste and clean up for me for a very reasonable price. Its home, working and whisper quiet. Thanks guys!

Paid 180$ for a screen replacement I specifically asked if my phone's going to feel solid when I get it back and isn't going to Rattle at all he said yep I can even try it out. I go to pick it up and it rattles and he tells me that's normal and made me pay full price, wait after arguing he gave me 10 bucks off

Never going again

Brought in my MacBook Air for water damage (another student spilt orange juice all over). Initially, the damage was estimated to be quite severe with little-no chance of data recovery. The staff were always very kind. It took longer than expected to fix (About 1.5 months), however when it was returned it worked well, and had all of its data recovered! The sound did not work, so I called the repair place and they drove down to the York Region (where I live), to get the laptop and repair it again (free of charge), and delivered it back to me in 4 days. They went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the service. The cost to repair my laptop (that turned off and wouldn't turn on after the water damage) was in the mid 400's; (apple quoted me 800+). Super impressed with this team, I would totally recommend them to ANYONE who needs stuff repaired. 10/10!

This place is amazing. Went in today to get a screen protector put on my new phone they were so friendly and helpful. I have purchased items here before as well and am always so pleased with the service and knowledgable staff. Thanks for being open in this crazy time

Guy behind counter provided great information and took time to explain everything I needed to know; didn't even buy anything and they took the time to help me research budget products. Highly recommended.

The worker (Bo) who helped me was very helpful. I went in to get a hijacker on my MacBook fixed and the worker did it the same night! I called ahead and made sure it was something they could look at and sure enough I was in and out the same night. He was very friendly and even pointed out some other issues he recommended I look into fixing (like a screen replacement) which I didn’t even notice. I know he didn’t do it for the money because he recommended for me to go to an Apple store. I’ve been to them for other issues and have never experienced any trouble. I definitely recommend their services.

My phone fell and the screen went black when I got a new phone my information couldn't get transferred. The staff was friendly and very helpful they recovered everything for me.

I didn't meet with the owner. But the guy who was working there, was really having great knowledge and skill to communicate with customers. He was very helpful.

Very helpful fixed my phone quickly and now I am taking my computer there I have been to Best Buy 3 times tired of dealing with the Geek Squad they really are geeks there. I am going to Banana Service from now on they specialize in fixing Electronics not selling them and messing them up.

Brought in my computer that just randomly died this morning. They couldn't fix it right away but also said it would be really costly. He did take it apart to see what the problem might be though. He recommeded a good computer for my needs if i decided to go that way. He did NOT charge me anything but did direct me to a few places that might be able to help. Long and short.within 2 hours i have a new computer up and running. Not my first expereience with this shop and wont be my last.
