Phone advice not honoured. Could have done much better. After telling them I’m building a home and spending 1000’s shortly, I’m surprised they still did the following.

Called on May 15 2023 and spoke with employee. Stated that I had 5 boxes of lights (gave her the product codes) that didn’t fit, which I got as a gift. She stated that she would take them back, and stated that they were $39.99 which is the price I saw on the net too. I asked her name, she said to come see her, and she would give a store credit.perfect… so far.

I didn’t even want a refund. I said a store credit is fine as I’d be spending it right away back in their store due to home building. And Reno’s all the time.

Well, I went in today May 16 and the same employee was off. I was greeted with another lady who stated that she could only give me 33.97 as that was last sale price (for 3 black wire ones) and zero for 2 brown wire ones as they were discontinued. She said the other employee should have checked into it more.

I even asked if they would do half price on the discontinued ones as I would spend this right back, and I was promised the 5 boxes as a return on the phone.

The manager came out and said it didn’t matter what the other employee said. I said, shouldn’t that be a training issue and maybe honour what a customer was already told. She said “absolutely not…”

Just a bit taken back by being told something, driving 30 mins to return and being told something different.
Not sure I’ll be here as much. Can’t trust prices I’m told on the phone I guess - that doesn’t work well when building a home. Especially for something so small.

My go-to hardware store in Bancroft. Prices are usually the best in town and service is always friendly. It's not a big Home Hardware but a good place to stop first for your hardware needs.

Awesome group, great location with a lot of neat random cottage items for sale. Perry was incredibly knowledgeable, truly amazing service. Our go to shop for our cottage needs.

This is a great Home Hardware store. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Beyond the usual "hardware" stuff, the store also carries some beautiful cottage and garden ornamental stuff. They have definately taken the time to figure out what works well for this area of the country. I like this store.

Although I loved the pictures, ornaments & decorative items, I found the prices to be insanely high. As well - I find that every time I DO want to purchase something, your website says zero stock in store. EVERY TIME.

Was able to get what qw needed. Staff helpful when we needed them. Store was clean, Purell available and items well displayed

It you ever have any painting needs go see Kim. One of the most knowledgeable person I have ever talked to when it comes to colors and paint.

Not a building supply store, more for regular hardware stuff. Great home decor and paint sections. Staff are lovely and helpful!

Very clean and organized, lots of help available if I needed it. Easy to follow arrows and sanitizer was available to customers. Everyone there was happy to help and they all had smiles on their face.

This is one of my favourite stores for plumbing parts. The staff are so helpful and accommodating. If I walk in with an explanation of my problem, and a couple photos, they are always able to recommend the right parts that I need for the job. The sales staff in each department have a high level of customer service. Prices are fair, and occasionally they have some great sales too. They observe the Covid health guidelines carefully, which as a customer I really appreciate. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful stuff very helpful you can find all your home plumbing hardware and odds and ends you may need and other stuff that may be useful for your home it's all on self preference though great business great prices wonderful people

I love this store for their beautiful selection of gifts. Signs, small furniture items, home decor, knick knacks etc. The staff are also very helpful and friendly.

I love the homey decor section of this store. I take friends in just to browse. Lovely spot to pick up that unique gift.

I find these guys a bit pricey, but they're open Sundays when the other building centers are closed and usually have what I need to get the job done

Showed up 13 minutes before closing time.suddenly a bunch of lights got turned off. I had to check store hours again. Must have been in a rush to close. They even locked the door before actual closing time. Not happy with the service

The folks here are amazing, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. We have been coming here for the past 4 years or so.
