Triple Flavour Boat (Lychee Rosewater, Golden Oreo, Totaro) Indecisive? No problem! Get a float of three flavours, although it doesn't matter because everything's delicious and not sickeningly sweet. The lychee flavour brings back memories of the lychee flavoured jellies I would get at an asian supermarket, but with a smooth and creamy texture and a slight floral tartness. The golden oreo was filled with bits of oreo crumbs for a satisfying crunch, and for those that love coconut and ube, the Totaro is the one for you.

The toffee nut icecream with the brittle was actually SO good, and i’m a picky gal! It was literally so good i can’t believe it.birthday cake cookie was really good as well! The cookie and icecream paired perfectly for an icecream sandwich!

Omg I found my favourite ice cream here! Love the miso flavour. Will definitely come back again to try more. Love that they have smaller scoop choice for you to do different taste. Reasonably priced for the quality

Best ice cream in townnnnn. Worth waiting time. There is always a long line up but it moves quicker than my expectation.

Lot of places that are highly reviewed are mostly hype or overpriced but this place is worth it and exceeds expectations. Maltese Ice cream sandwich is mod, high quality cookies and brownies. Don't let the huge line dissuade you, it goes pretty quickly. Tied for best ice cream in the city for sure.

Came back recently and had a very poor experience. Wanted to get a tub and was told that I would need to pre order a day in advance when there was barely any line and they had enough ice cream to make a tub. That combined with not being able to try flavours makes for a pretty frustrating experience.

I got lychee + rosewater flavor icecream.it was too yummy. Just FYI the wait in the line is totally worthy. I will come back again:)

Amazing ice cream with such unique flavours! There's a line up but it's worth it. The staff are very friendly and take their time with your order. Ice cream itself is delicious and tastes fresh.

They are always out of stock of their avocado flavour ice cream, seems like a simple solution, MAKE MORE. That's ok, I'm not buying anything else from them or baker bots until I see it in stock. I've gone all summer (end of august) without buying a single thing from them. Their loss.

There are always long queues in front of it. The specialty of their ice creams is a lot of variety and flavors that I have not eaten almost anywhere are available here. Balls 5cad.

Lots of interesting flavours to choose from, Mud was super chocolatey and almondy. Just a little pricey and can get a little sickly sweet, but I probably shouldn've gotten a single scoop instead of a double.

Such a cute shop, ice cream made in house. I got the bubble waffle with 2 flavours. Decent size for the price. Only downside is the huge lines in the summer.

On my recent visit to Toronto for vacation, I was getting disappointed with my ice cream experience in Toronto (Vancouver has several really good ice cream places!) until I had the matcha genmaicha + jasmine here - so good and unique combo! Then I went back and tried the miso mon cherry and have to say it was almost life-changing (because I don't want to admit that I am easily affected like that). Tip: you can get 2 flavors in a single cup if you cannot choose just one from their many delicious sounding flavors.

Love this ice cream shop so much. Their flavours are out of this world and creative. Both of the flavours lychee rosewater raspberry and matcha were uniquely delicious. Absolutely worth waiting in line for these!

Been coming here since they opened and it has not changed. The quality and taste is still amazing. Just wish they didnt blow up so much as lines can be long especially during summer.

What to say that hasn't been said already. The Cherry Milk jam Twist flavor this summer was different and unexpectedly good. Absolutely must try the waffle!

Don't get scared of the lines, place is run well and the line moves quickly. Plus the menu is so extensive, one might need all that time anyway just to choose a flavor.:)

Long line but worth the wait. Ice cream sandwich was very big- my husband and I shared. Nicely decorated I liked all the tin cans on display. Wish I could take some ice cream home to Quebec:)

I’m NEVER disappointed. The cookies are soft and delicious. And every flavour of ice cream I’ve tried so far is outstanding.

We stopped here after dinner for ice cream and it was incredible. The portions are generous. They have such interesting flavours. The cookies are amazing too. There’s a line to get this ice cream, but stick it out. It will move quickly and it will be worth it.

Fast service (even if the line looks long). No seating area so it was hard to find a place to eat the ice cream though. I really like their unique flavours and portion sizes (they don’t give you so much that it’ll melt and make the waffle soggy). I got the matcha gen matcha tiramisu and London fog with their Hong Kong egg waffle!

Always a line up. They really need to make better vegan flavours. Chocolate and vanilla are so boring compared to all the non vegan flavours. Step up your game!

Excellent! The only problem is had was the hong kong waffles were so popular that they sold out. They're incredible.

Line up is usually long but today was short, fast turnaround. Got the rosewater lychee with oatmeal cookie and it did not disappoint.

Lines are incredibly long on peak hours (obviously especially in the summer) but worthwhile the wait. They've got a ton of flavours and options to put your ice cream in too. The waffles eggs are incredible. Come early/mid afternoon to ensure lower wait times. Parking available on the street.

Their ice cream has gone down in quality by so much since covid. It’s super melty and the flavouring is so diluted. It was once a really good ice cream shop

Their ice cream are extremely creamy and stretchy! Took one star off bc of the long line up (we waited almost 45 mins for one ice cream sandwich…lol)

The mocha ice cream was extremely aromatic And we will be back for it again! I was a little disappointed with totaro ice cream as I thought the Ube flavour would be stronger. The everything cookie was really good though!

Don't think this place needs another 5 star given their already stellar reviews but here's mine. It's worth the line up (it moves fast) and the icecream is the best. I got Earl Grey ice cream on an oatmeal cookie. Never thought I would eat Earl Grey ice cream but here I am on my 10th order of it.

My wife is nine months pregnant, the line was extensive. I Asked some small girl from the store and she told me that she suppose to wait in the line with her big belly and got a risk to get covid. Your ice cream is great but work on your customer service skills.

For me, it's the matcha genmacha and sobamacha all the way. I may have messed up the name but this place is just divine! Don't miss out on this guys, you won't regret it!

Bang Bang has some of the coolest flavours in the city! Each one is constructed carefully and you can taste the deep extractions in each one. I tried the Boba Papa, a Hong Kong milk tea inspired flavour and the toasty notes of the tea were on point, as well as having a very satisfying smooth texture. I also enjoyed the UBE flavour, a purple yam found in the Philippines, Bang Bang created a nutty, coconut like note on this classic which made it perfect on its own or with a milder pairing. Cant wait to come back and try their bubble waffles and other cool takes on ice cream. Line can sometimes get a bit long, so check for business

Every time I walk by Bang Bang ice cream I see a huge line up. Today I’ve decided to check out why ;) I’ve ordered my regular vanilla-chocolate ice cream and I melted:) it’s sooooo delicious… the long lineups are totally understandable. I haven’t tried the other products, only their ice-cream.
You must try it!

This place has so many flavors to choose from! The ice cream was tasty and refreshing! It was my first time there and I have tried so many other ice cream shops around the city, I will definitely be going back! Very quick service and friendly staff with good recommendations. So popular the line can get long.

Small shop, huge line up's - be ready. Even in winter there is a lineup for 5+ people.
No cash - credit/debit only. No chairs/tables to sit.

Great ice cream! Unique flavours that you won't find usually. The best option - half of ice cream sandwich - they put 2 full ice cream scoops, which make it huge ice cream portion! Was barely able to finish that.

Burnt toffee - super good! Matcha + tiramisu - lots and lots of matcha, strong overpowering flavour, not enough of tiramisu.
Lychee rosewater - very special. Lychee adding little sour flavour, rosewater counters it with sweet, very very successful combination. To be ordered further!
BTW - they have ice cream pints to go. Depending on how complicated is the taste, prices vary $10, $12, $14.

Beware - their cookies are also unique - loved b'day cookie, fresh, chewy, perfect addition for ice cream. Friend tried 'almost everything' cookie - was rather weird pairing with ice cream.

A place you are sure to visit again and again and again. The ice cream flavors are interesting and classy. Not heavy and intense but delicate and subtle.

Amazing ice cream and cookies. Every flavour is delicious but Rocky Roadkill (in an everything cookie sammie) is out of this world. I’ll wait 30 minutes, stand in the pouring rain, or gladly be serviced immediately in the winter for some Bang Bang.

One of the best ice cream spots in the city. Glad they got some dairy free ice cream flavours (but wish they had more than 3). Huge lineups but it’s worth it. Delicious ice cream sandwiches

Tried their signature ice cream in the egg waffle cone. My favorite part ironically is their waffle cone.

Do expect a line up during the peak hours any hot summer day. Though the line up disappears fairly quickly.

Bang Bang is an institution. Whenever I have visitors and want to give them a taste of West Queen West's best, I always take them to Bang Bang and so far have yet to meet an unhappy guest. Their flavour selection is extraordinary, offering a range that appeals to purists and more adventure palates alike. I love that they have more sophisticated flavours like chamomile and purple yam, and dairy-free options for vegans. Their cookies are also decadent and have a commendable selection.

My personal favourites are the matcha tiramisu ice cream paired with the Rococoa cookie, and Bees' Knees ice cream paired with the Everything cookie.

Incredible little spot for a late night treat. Bring your girl friend and she will love it. They have a ton of different styles of ice creams to choose from. Take your time to order and trust me that you won’t be disappointed with your decision to go there.

This place is SO good. My goodness gracious, I had the cinnamon bun ice cream sandwich with hazelnut ice cream. Do yourself a favour and get some ASAP. I have dreams about how good it is. The ice cream is rich and flavorful, the cinnamon bun tasted amazing and warm. My friend got ice cream sandwiches and all loved them. Also I got the carrot cake (sorry I bought the rest of whatever was left) and even before I got home I finished it. I have to wash my jacket since I got icing all over it, but damn it was worth it. There will be a short line also, but GO if you can!

Great flavors! Totoro (purple yam and coconut) is so good! They have everything from decadent classics like creamy rich peanut butter, rocky road and tiger tail to fresh innovative flavors like the several tea inspired flavors London Fog, HK Milk Tea (with boba) and Chamomile Honey. They offer vegan selections as well like coconut milk based Mojito. Ice cream selections vary the menu is not the same daily. Try the fresh waffle cone worth waiting the few extra minutes. There was a line but it moved quickly.

Delicious. I had the Golden oreo and my niece had the green Macha tea. Both excellent flavor and felt good to sin. (Ice Cream Sandwich)

Such a huge selection of ice-cream and the whole surrounding area smells like freshly baked cookies. Not much place to eat inside and there's usually a line, but totally worth it.

Best ice cream in the city. My go to spot for freshly made, incredibly tasting ice cream. Lines in the summertime can get pretty long but well worth the wait.

The small batch icecream was very tasty. The egg waffle wasn't too sweet and complimented the icecream. The cookies for the icecream sandwiches were also very good. There's generally a line here, but it's worth it.

Love that they have a large selection of unique flavours and fresh HK waffles, puff pastry we, and cookies. They need a bigger space though with seating area.

I have been there several times, and this shop has a long line all the time. But it's worth wait. There are a lot of unique flavors which tastes good.

Went here during Ossfest and the line up was out the window, but totally worth the wait for the great ice cream and gooey cookie combo. I tried the vanilla bean ice cream with 'keepin it classy' (chocolate chip cookie) and it was awesome. Friends also ordered banana pudding ice cream with dark cocoa cookie, and cinnamon ice cream with an everything cookie. Great combination and great taste. Will try the bang bang waffle next time!

This place was on the recommended list of places to visit while in Toronto, and I'm glad I went there. Their ice cream sandwiches are to die for! They have an amazing selection of ice cream flavors that you can combine with your choice of cookies. If you visit after 7pm expect a queue.

I was expecting ice cream sandwiches, but it was just ice cream served between cookies in a dish. It would fall apart immediately if you tried to eat it like a sandwich. Other than that, the ice cream was great!

WOW! I have no words! Yes it has a line and yes it’s not cheap but I tried 3 sandwiches with friends and every single bite I had was PERFECT AND CHANGED THE WAY I VIEW DESSERT! We had everything cookie with peanut Cup ice cream, malted something cookie with cinnamon toast and oatmeal cookie with ginger milk ice cream. Every cookie was perfectly soft and chewy and every ice cream flavour was amazingly balanced and UNIQUE! Somehow it wasn’t overly sweet. I would go back ANY TIME! Thank you bang bang we love you.

It's OK! Not worth the wait not able to taste flavours if it's busy which sucks if it's your first time. We were a bit rushed as the line was long. Just go to menchies
