Banh Mi Express

If you haven’t stopped by Bahn Mi express yet, especially in the last year or two I highly recommend you do. They’re still the only place around London where you can get a classic Bahn Mi’s…my favourite is the grilled pork…but they also added delicious sushi rolls and poke bowls to their menu that are well worth trying as well.

First time eating here. I got the salmon poki bowl and it was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was fresh and it was delish. Definitely worth it! I can't wait to go back and try a sandwich!

I’ve been eating here for over a year and the quality is very consistent. The staff are super friendly and the only thing I would wish for is if I heard about it earlier, a must try for sure.

Love this food. It's gotten a tiny bit expensive for the portion sizes but overall they have great food and the service is good.

I have never eaten something so fast in my life. Btw how do you make money? The portions are huge!

Many years later we're still eating here regularly. The new owners built on the successes of the previous owners and now the menu is packed full of the best casual food in town. Amazing!

Food, service and portion size is amazing and very fair for the price. It’s our number one place to go to when it comes to sushi burrito. Recently tried banh mi (tofu and mushroom) and ohh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Absolutely great alternative for those who can’t eat pork/or any other kinds of meat. Equally as good as the traditional banh mi. Highly recommended!

Great food and friendly staff. Prices are getting high and no parking (but they are located down town so this happens) very friendly staff. Website needs to be kept update!

The sandwiches here are absolutely delicious, very fresh and great sizes. I always order here with Uber Eats and even when Uber Eats drops the ball on getting it to my place in time, the food manages to still be fantastic.

I got sushi from here and it was not a good experience. One of the sushi rolls were soggy while the other was cold.
However, the banh mi was okay.

Wow.just had one of the best sandwiches I've tasted in so long! The slow roasted crispy pork is the best combo of sweet, savoury, richness and vinegar tang.all held together with the best french baguette.so incredibly tasty!

Top notch customer experience. They accidentally got my Uber Eat order wrong so I contacted them. After short while the owner himself delivered the right order to my door.

So good! If ur on the fence id choose the banh mi over the other items on the menu but its all phenomenal!

Sooooo delicious! Their food is prepared with care and always looks fresh. There are so many choices that anyone would be happy going here. There are light options or indulgent options. I love the Poke Bowls, Spring Rolls, Sushi Burritos, and the Bulgolgi is sweet but not too much which is perfect. The prices are comparable to similar restaurants, but the portions are very generous as well (I was happily surprised the Bulgolgi had veggies and spring rolls on the side). They have deals often too. I don't think there is anywhere to dine in as of yet, but it's easy to use their online order page and the take out is always packaged with care.

Banh Mi on a whole new level! Must eat if you are into banh mi! Super friendly staff! Make sure to say hi and chat them up!

This is one of my new favourites. The food has amazing flavour and is always super fresh. Try it. You won't be disappointed.

I have been eating Bhan Mi sandwiches for the past 10 years or so from plenty of locations in Toronto. Since coming here from TO in 2020 I have not been able to find an acceptable restaurant. In making my way to this restaurant on Richmond, I can totally say I have found a fantastic Bhan Mi place. Love the location, love the decor, the service was fantastic, and best of all the food was everything I was hoping for. We ordered two things. One was the Bhan Mi beef brisket served w a side au jus. And the other item was the tofu bowl. The Bhan Mi sandwich was great, w every dip in the accompanying gravy which was so warm and delicious made every bite so unctuous and fantastic! Can't wait to go back again.

Loved this place! We had the Crispy Vietnamese Fried Chicken Banh Mi & Crispy Tofu with Soy Marinated Mushrooms Banh Mi. They were huge! And very delicious! Also loved the Jasmine, citrus, Basil Iced Tea. Definitely can't wait to go back and try more from their menu. Very clean & Modern. Take out only. Po Boy Shrimp Bahn Mi is also delicious and spicy!

This is by far our favourite restaurant in town. Tonight we had the crispy Vietnamese fried chicken, lemongrass com tam bowl, dragon eye roll and dynamite roll. Everything is delicious, cooked perfectly and the portions are very generous. Absolutely delicious. Thank you so much to Joe and his team.

Bahn Mi Express is so good! We've had multiple of the sandwiches and the volcano fries and it was all very fresh and delicious! One of our favorite spots to eat.

We received some coupons from Banh Mi Express in the mail a couple of weeks ago and tried it out on Friday. We are so happy that we did!
I was quite happy with the dynamite roll sushi that I received as it was fresh and yummy. My partner really enjoyed his grilled garlic pork banh mi (and was impressed with the size of it). We both loved the volcano fries! Sooooo good, we will definitely be going back to try some more options.
The service was wonderful and the restaurant itself was very clean and welcoming.

New owners have renovated and revitalized this restaurant. Poke Bowls and Banh-Mi (Vietnamese Sandwiches) are amazing. Chef Joseph Tran has created a new menu! I ordered via their website.

As a Vietnamese, I gotta say this is exactly what I had back in Vietnam or even better. I will come down here whenever I miss the taste of my country.

I’ve ordered poke bowls and other food from them many times before, used to love here.today I ordered the same “salmon poke bowls” and others items from Ubereats. The portion for poke bowl was too small, especially the salmon, only some small pieces, not worth the money at all! The flavor for every item I ordered was not taste like before, whatever the bowl or sushi, not sure what happened. Probably I won't be ordering from here again.

Supreme experience. Delicious quality and fresh food. Hearty portions and superb and friendly service. My “go to” Asian cuisine in London.
