1 issue I did have with National Bank was the auditor. As we started the mortgage application 1 and a half months prior to closing, the auditor had the audacity to review and audit my file 1 week prior to closing!

This gave me real anxiety as the auditor took 2-3 business days to review the files I sent and respond with satisfied or requires more documents. This resulted in my mortgage closing date postponed 1 month and costed me $2,000 in lawyer fees to extend.

I’m providing a 5 star rating simply due to the exceptional work Oday provided, but I will warn new customers that NBC’s auditors are brutal!
