I had the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice, i never had tomatoes and cucumbers in my chicken? It was horrible.quality was very bad and food was horrible.will never eat here again
If I could give zero stars I would this place has gone downhill. I have eaten here before a while ago and I am disappointed to the quality of food. It had no taste just bland … like the sauce was watered down or something. We ordered some noodles beef and a chicken dish and the chicken spring rolls tasted weird. To be honest this will be our last order here as I would rather give my business to a place that offers quality of food.
The best PAKISTANI HAKKA CHINESE restaurant you will ever find around GTA which is HALAL. Taste so good that you can’t live without it. I wish they have more stores specially in BRAMPTON.
Been going to this place for many years, always gave them a lot of business through family and friends. I use to love this place but food quality and taste is just going downhill, keeps getting worst with time. The owner knows me really well i use to go there as a kid now I have my own kid and i’m usually not the one to write bad review but after giving this place one last chance, I decided to not ever go there again. May be 15 years ago there wernt many hakka chinese options but now there are much better options out there when it comes to hakka chinese and for sure better tasting food than boa shin.
First and last time. Veggies were soggy, i had 2-3 pickled chopped chillies in the container. Chicken pakoras were not that tasty. Very oily. The steamed rice was ok. Bland flavour (the turmeric was not mixed properly). I can’t believe how awful it was.
Really good take out place! Got the Manchurian chicken, beef and Broccoli as well as the chowmein. Great flavor and spice. A bit oily but it's part of the flavor profile. My cuz recommended it and now I'm def heading back. Oh also got the fish pakoras. Soooooo good! Didn't have time to take photos as everyone had already taken their portions. Also good sized portions. We were stuffed afterwards.
Chili chicken lunch special is the best lol. They cook pretty quick too. Just order ahead of time and within 10 minutes your order is ready for pick up.
Went to this place ordered food. One of the best Chinese food I ate after a long time. Best part is their quantity. I took 2 full chicken chowmein it was sufficient for 3 adults. Food was amazing. A competion to chilli chicken house. I love their food too but yes another option should try 100%
The quality of the food was so horrible and it had zero taste. The chicken fried rice smelled old and the chilli fish dry had no seasoning. Would never go there again and would not recommend it to anyone else.
My brother and I have been coming here for years, even when the owners were at a different location. Hands down one of my favourite places to eat and my favourite Hakka restaurant. The owners are very friendly and kind! I highly recommend coming here and trying the Manchurian chicken!
We yesterday ordered chilling prawns, sweet and sour chicken and chicken hakka noodles. As normally in all Hakka Chinese restaurant, to our surprise there was no white rice bowl. Also the food was not good at all except the noodles. My request to the owner is to please enhance the quality of food and also bench mark what all other Hakka Chinese places offer for the same price. A bowl of rice that even non-basmati hardly costs much and especially when a customer doing take-out even adds reasonable tip too. Thanks
Poor management and dirty. Ordered meals for $40 (tax in) for lunch on Sat day and realized the place is for take out only. Decided to proceed as there are 2 tables and we were so hungry. Lunch specials came with 90% rice, (meat/fish portions were very less) and $12.50 chicken fries were filled with bones. A piece of hair was visible in the food. Their wall next to the door has a dead smashed fly sticked to it. Meals came with only 2 plastic forks and some napkins. No knives, soy sauce, salt/pepper, or hot sauce which you get in most takeout orders. The taste is ok but I would get very decent meals for 2 ppl for $25 to $30 in any dine-in hakka restaurants. I just wasted my money by going to Bao shin.
Finally found Bao Shin - after the original location burnt down on Hurontario & Dundas. This new place to be honest has no charm of the original location. The owner won't even provide proper plates & cutlery when you dine in. Speaking of they have 2 tables for dine in. I guess they don't care about service levels anymore. This Bao Shin is your typical "chinese" take out. Expect the worst & you won't be disappointed.
And I wouldn't trust their Halal Sign nor their Word for that matter. You're better off driving to Creditview & Burnhamthorpe to eat at *Chili Chicken House* Better quality food with amazing customers service and an official Halal certification sign clearly visible.
Didnt get what I ordered except for one dish and there was pieces of chicken that were literally raw. Love this place because the portions are big but probably wont go back.
Very good hakka joint! ALL of their food is delicous and exactly on point. Quantity is large as well! We are regular customers about a good 6 or 7 years and they never dissapoint. I am very glad that they reopened the restaurant!
Huge quantities, I wish if they have some dining space as well. I am very happy that now I can have Pakistani Chinese food in Canada. Desi food was available and now Pakistani Chinese. Same flavour we had back home specially their drumsticks. Love it
I got the chilli chicken and masala fried rice and it was flavorful. I''ve never had masala fried rice at any other Hakka restaurant and this is delish! Thier portions are generous especially if you choose an item from the Special Combination menu. This place is a hidden gem and a must try if you like Hakka
I was surprised with the quality of food in comparison to the rating it has. I ordered the noodles and they were very greasy. I fact it's the main flavor I felt. Big portions, but low quality and a tad pricy. Maybe I could give it another try but for now 3/5.
