If you're going to cut off drivers and almost cause an accident, don't put your name and number on the side of your vehicle. At Lakeshore in Mississauga Street on September 7th, 2023 at 2: 30 p.m, The driver of this vehicle almost took off the front end of my car because they don't know how to use a signal or check their mirrors.

To be honest I was a little apprehensive to walk into the store as it is overwhelming with all the models and options. However the service is absolutely delightful. There is no pressure of up selling and they are there to find the right product for your budget. The delivery was on time and seamless. Very professional and courteous. They had the unit prebuilt and it was setup and ready to go within minutes. Definitely what a customer experience should be like.

The employees were not the most welcoming whenever I first walked in - it always felt awkward going inside and got like "deers in the headlights" kind of look directed at me. Also, my purchased Napoleon P500 SS grilling grates came warped - over 1/4" - which is more on Napoleon QC except that I paid for the assembly and inspection provided by BBQ Galore. It was quickly replaced, but it was so significant that it should not have passed by them. Lastly, and this more on Napoleon again - the cooling rack is not SS and will warp under high heat. It is vaguely noted in the manual, so I'm SOL, but you wouldn't expect a lesser material inside after paying $2k for it. The overall experience just left a sour taste and lack of confidence with my purchase.

Awesome store! I bought my Napoleon BBQ from this location back in 2014 and its been fantastic!
I did need to get a new thermometer for it on this visit, so, I'd like to give many thanks to Connor for his personable, professional service!
He made sure I got the right part the first time!

I purchased a barbecue on April 29th and opened it up Sept 6th.
The assembly instructions were missing, and man I was confused.
I had a gang of people coming from out of town.
Cut to the chase, store manager Jeffrey Wiersma had that puppy assembled in 1 hour and refused to charge me.
With superior management and customer service like this, it explains why this facility has a harmonious buzz among the staff. Jeff is a ambassador for BG Oakville.

Absolutely love all of our items we purchased from Barbecues Galore. The fire table and sectional patio are perfect for summer evenings. The staff is professional and definitely know their BTU’s! Purchased a bbq cover for an older Broil King bbq. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on all their products they sell and support. I gave them the wrong model information. But, there was no issues returning and receiving the proper size cover.

Their prices are competitive and their displays are Beautifully laid out. This is a better location for looking for quality barbecues, fireplaces, food sauces and rubs, and a large variety of utensils and cooking products.

First things first, I can honestly say now, that BBQs Galore is truly an exceptional company and they’ve converted me into a raving fan!

Here is why.

It’s common when something goes wrong and you point it out or are looking for help to resolve an issue for a company to say to you, “I’m sorry that you feel that way. ” It’s common for a company to create a policy and tell you, “I’m sorry but that is our policy. ” It’s common for companies to want your business but make you feel like an imposition to them.

What is uncommon is to receive feedback from a truly disappointed customer and turn that situation around. It’s uncommon to win this type of customer back.

This week BBQ Galore won me back. Paul actually listened to me and was sincere in everything he said to me. He also made reparations beyond my expectations. What happened over the last day made me believe again that there are still people and companies out there who know what it means to be good, exceptional and excellent!

What an incredible store with such friendly and knowledgeable staff! They had everything that I was looking for and treated me like a king! They were extremely patient to explain their products and make sure I left knowing exactly what to do with them! Highly recommended and will be back often to restock smaller items like sauces and tools but looking forward to my next big acquisition to further elevate my BBQ game!

Similar to David Xu's experience, our family was there about 45 mins to closing, and was treated coldly. The salesperson Will, was quite helpful, fortunately, but the "manager", Josh, I think his name was, wouldn't even walk over from the cashier to talk to us, and when he did talk was extremely arrogant. What a disappointment! We thought customer service is important these days but I guess not in this store.
Oh, even our kids thought they received the cold shoulder treatment here. Funny enough, the lady of colour in the store was a sweetie. Guess we'll take our deal down the road.p. S. Do certain female staff members not realize customers actually notice when she gives them ice-cold and unwelcoming glances, even through the mask?

Staff were more concerned with closing than helping customers with more than 45 min till closing. Stood around for 15 min looking at BBQ Island without a single acknowledgement from the 3 staff. Guess they do care how you dress walking in.

Update: got to love the condescending tone of the "owner" in their reply. Thank God I wasn't helped by the staff or else I would have wasted 5k at this sorry excuse of a company.

I wish I could give them 6 out of 5 stars! Amazing experience. Super safe curb side pickup. Fast service! Ordered online and then even added to my order in the parking lot and they accommodated. Kent was incredible! He gave me advise on how to replace parts for my bbq. He also put replacements end caps into my doors for me as I was having issues figuring it out. They went above and beyond. I highly recommend the Oakville Barbecue Galore location! Ask for Kent - he’s the best!

Called last week to purchase a Sterling propane BBQ and a Napoleon charcoal BBQ. Had the pleasure of speaking to Josh who handled all the details and made sure the pickup went smoothly. Have purchased charcoyand other accessories over the years and I have always received excellent service from the staff at all three Ontario locations. I will definitely return

We had ordered a big green egg online. Went for pickup and glad to see store properly managing covid protocol. Got prompt service and got the right advice. The store had everything I needed to start me off correctly. They helped load the egg on to my truck. Great service start to finish.

I am disappointed with this location. I had made a purchase of about $1700 a few weeks ago and had called to add another $1,000 item onto my order. I talked to a sales person and had let them know my price range and they had said typically they don't offer any discounts but I asked if I buy it right now over the phone and add it onto my already upcoming delivery could they do a 10% discount, they had said yes and I said ok I will call you right back within 10 minutes with my credit card number. When I called back a new saleslady answered and she would not honour the conversation, she did say she could give me free shipping, as if that was a great deal. I was thinking well obviously there would be free shipping, it would be coming with my already paid for order. It just seems like a bad way to conduct business to go back on your word in a matter of minutes. Wont be back and won't recommend this company.: (

Barbecues Galore is a bit pricey (you can find much of their stock for less money elsewhere), but they do have a good selection and friendly staff. So good to stop by or browse in a pinch.

Poor store experience with too few sales reps attending customers (consequently very long wait times). Also very poorly stocked with not too many options available for sale. Everything was on 2~3 weeks of waiting.

I went several times to look at grill options and had the same experience each time. I ended up buying from another store that didn't have any of the above limitations. Got what I wanted Ex-stock with quick service.

Phenomenal customer service with knowledgable staff. Excellent selection of high quality products. Bought a portable Weber and modified it with the manager, right in the store (!), to take in my camper and quick connect to the existing propane. Will definitely be returning in spring to buy a new backyard BBQ.

Bought a Napoleon Grill Prestige 500. Took forever to arrive due to Covid and the popularity of the brand. It was worth the wait. I've been grilling non stop for a month now and its been awesome. Had a small problem with the ignition starter but Napoleon Customer service was fantastic in giving me real solutions. Thumbs up to Napoleon, Canadian company, to maintain a Canadian call centre in Barrie. The staff at BBQ's Galore is great and delivery was fantastic!

We went into barbecues galore me and my wife zero organized to get served to talk to anyone we walked around for 30 minutes sorted our bbq what we wanted then had to try and track someone to serve us nearly $900 we spent had to pay for assembling $30 wanted to deliver for $80 for 5 kilometres so I picked it up I needed a reducer to connect it to my new set up the manager said $10 + tax for that part I refused to pay for it and walked out never again do not shop at this place ever does not deserve one star

I walked into barbecues galore not knowing much about barbecues at all. One of the employees named Josh took time to ask what I wanted and to explain different options that they had available in a very informative manner.overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to buy/ learn more about barbecues.

With all of the impact to small businesses from Covid-19, now more than ever, my wife and I try to buy from local small businesses whenever we can. What initially brought me to the store was the sign out front thanking people for supporting a local business! What blew me away was the fantastic selection and terrific staff. I don’t know a lot about barbecues, but Jake gave me a crash course in a way that never felt intimidating or pushy. He went above and beyond my expectations by providing a customer service experience that surpassed any I’ve had at a big box store. He helped me select a premium BBQ, some cool accessories, and even arranged to get me a cover from another location in time for me to pick up my barbecue the next day. I have dealt with the Oakville location on several occasions and I have always been satisfied to the fullest regarding the service and the quality of the products. But today I was extremely disappointed the way I was treated. I understand it was a busy day but I was referred to three different employees until one of them asked me to patiently wait while he finished with a customer. I indicated that I wanted to purchase a flat grilled bbq and also was inquiring about a Genesis II with side burner. I patiently waited 25 minutes while this employee hopped to three different customers that just entered the store. I approached him and was told that they were busy and that if I wanted to leave my name and number they would call me on Tuesday. I told him that I was not treated fairly and would go somewhere else.

Decent inventory, bad sales experience. I was literally ready to buy a bbq immediately, but salesperson was too inexperienced to make me other offers on Weber because the model I wanted was unavailable. Left frustrated.

I recently came to BG to pick up a gift for my dad for fathers day and they had a great selection of bbq accessories for me to pick from that I never would have known about! The staff were great and helped guide me through what would be a good idea - safe to say, Fathers Day approved!

This was a great experience. I had researched the grill I wanted, and went to the store to see it. The manager gave me his time, answered my questions, offered his thoughts, and I decided to purchase. I really appreciated the simplicity of getting a gas line installed through their capable installers. Easy, convenient, respectful experience. And we love the new gas grill!

Just purchased a Bbq from MIKE PAYNE HE WAS GREAT LOTS IF PATIENCE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE EXPLANATION OF ALL THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF BBQ. WE WENT WITH THR NEOPLATIN. NATURAL GAS. Great staff was looking for a new grip for my nepolean which is only two years old the staff we're great because of them I contacted nepolean and cause of our warranty we got all grills replaced for free
