Amazing book store. Massive political and philosophical sections, an adorable cat and a unique and captivating overall space. Scott is a fantastic person to speak to about so many different topics and I will continue to support for as long as I possibly can

Terribly organized, unventilated and unlit place. Not worth the visit.

Cute little spot. Lots of books across three rooms. Super cute cat just chilling. Would have preferred to avoid the conspiracy theories from the guy working there though

Love that you can find books that are not anywhere else and focus on native stories.
The atmosphere is calm and interesting.
Can wait to return.

I haven’t even been yet but when I was a teenager living in Carleton Place, there was a crammed book store just like this with an old owner and his cat. He shut down many years ago and I still think about the cat and its wellbeing. More cats need to employ private businesses so this place gets my 5 stars.

Just bought 2 great books for a fantastic price! Great store, great ambience and the owner has a lovely cat. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!
