Was there with a Christmas party for a sci fi fan group. We were late getting into the room, though no fault of the staff, but we were gifted a bottle of wine and the servers were so apologetic. The service was excellent!

Traffic pretty heavy on merivale, thought I would stop in for a bite to eat. Not disappointed wings & fries were good along with Thai sauce.

Stopped in for a drink and music after playing pool down the road, the 3 piece band was very good and the classic 80's tunes were rockin it. Glad we stopped by

Spicy tacos. Very enthusiastic staff members. Seats available when we arrived. Not too busy. All ages can visit. Sometimes live music. Huge alcohol selection.

Went here to see Capital Beatles and had a capital time. We had supper beforehand, starting with a passable plate of calamari that we shared then I had the beef bourgignon on gnocchi and my partner had the Malaysian chicken which was quite tasty. We then proceeded to dance the night away.

Food was great, the service was good but we had to keep asking for our bills, they must of been busy the night I went

Took a long time for food, short staffed, and confused bills and got orders wrong. Not very impressed.

Just had Appys and drinks. Food was realy good, as usual. But the service was great at first but got a bit slow at the end. This was our first visite over a year at that location. Will go back.

My friends and I visited Barley Now restaurant on a Friday night and it was a fantastic experience. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, and the food was amazing. We particularly enjoyed the craft beers and the burgers, which were cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they ensured that we had a great dining experience. Overall, we had a great time at Barley Now and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to dine with friends or family.

The food was exactly what you would expect in a roadside bar. Not the greatest but it fills the gap if there is no other option. The staff are friendly and there is a stage with a dance floor. I gave it 4 stars because of the food. I would not say don't go but just remember the quality is bar style.

I had an amazing experience here with our server Mary. She was extremely attentive, personable and had a lovely attitude. She went above and beyond to make our experience 5 stars. Thank you so much Mary for your fabulous service tonight. We will definitely be back!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received at your restaurant today evening. My friends and I visited your establishment for dinner, and we were looking forward to enjoying your famous chicken wings.

However, when we asked our male server if we could order some wings, he informed us that you were out of them. We were disappointed, but we accepted his response and ordered something else from the menu.

To our surprise, as we were leaving the restaurant, we saw a plate of wings being served to another table. We were shocked and frustrated to learn that your restaurant still had wings available, but our server had lied to us.

This behavior is completely unacceptable, and it has left us feeling misled and disrespected. As customers, we expect honesty and transparency from your staff, and we were extremely disappointed by this experience.

I hope that you will take this complaint seriously and take the necessary steps to ensure that your servers are trained to be honest and upfront with your customers. We appreciate your attention to this matter and hope that you will take steps to ensure that this does not happen again in the future.

Went to visit with old friends.
Food was great, beer choices a plenty, and staff were very friendly.
Went on a Tuesday and they happened to have a Trivia night. Lots of fun.
Reasonable prices and lots of fun.

Brunch is great! Not crazy busy, no waiting and delicious food. Merivale location really stepped up the food family day weekend best it’s ever been! Fantastic service from Mary. Thank you

1¢ wings, in this economy? WHAT?

What a great wing night! 1 cent wings with the following rules:
All beverages are basically $5
Started at 8pm
No taking wings home
Must buy a beverage (at the same time) as your wing order

Wings come with a decent sized fry, ketchup, creamy dill, and sauce of your choosing. The wings are not sauced, you sauce them yourself. Which I will say is a worse experience than having them come sauced, but given that speed is paramount on a wing night, I respected the approach.

In essence, you have a drink special, and eat for essentiallly free given their rules.
