The best dining experience I have had in Toronto. Our server, Sam went above and beyond to make our experience world class. Not only did they provide my partner with several birthday treats, but they also booked us an Uber to our next destination since we were in a rush. I would recommend this to anyone who loves great food and excellent service. Ask for Sam when you go in!

The food is delicious the octopus espectacular! The drinks aren't good and pretty small

Baro was great! I enjoyed the Octopus, Beef Tartare, and Duck Fried Rice (although the bottom of the rice does get burned and hard to chew at the bottom of the stone bowl)

The only downside was that they gave us tequila shots that were extremely watered down. Could barely taste any alcohol.

Food was good but service was bad. Staff too busy standing around talking. Didn’t ask how our food was, or ask for drink refills. Waited 25 minutes after we were done and finally had to go and find our server. Won’t be back.

Nice place to go with friends or on a date. It's really intimate and the food really good!

Wow! Service was great. I wish I got the name of our server. He was so nice and explained the menu well.

The food was great and at a good price point. Came for brunch with the girls and would definitely come again.

Had the jalapeño with flat bread on the top level was very good so was my mojito and my girl lover her margarita! Bit pricy tho

So much fun! It was our first time in Toronto and Ethan made our experience so fun! He recommended great restaurants and ensured our service was nice and speedy. He chatted with us like we were old friends and I’d request him again when we come here next. He was kind enough to add his own personal touch to make our night super special, thanks again Ethan!

Service was great. Our waiter was very friendly attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pick out some items as they are appetizers, large plates for sharing and side dishes to accompany the mains. One of the most popular dishes was the OG duck Chaufa, it was nice, but I was waiting for it to be great. I couldn’t really differentiate between the duck and the egg in the dish, flavor was lacking for sure.crispy rice in the stone bowl was nice. I commend the open kitchen! We also got the Papas Rellenas ground beef fritters with olives, which I could not taste, again lacking in assertive flavours and seasoning. The sauce on the bottom of the plate was citrusy and punchy, but not enough to carry the whole appetizer.

The pollo asado main was great, I would order again the sauce is delicious and fennel-y. I would come back again to try the Lomo saltado and the cassava fries!

The rooftop terrace has a great vibe. Food options were minimal, but great quality. The 90 minute time limit is amateurish.

Went to Baro on Sept, 24 2021 for my post wedding dinner and it was just amazing! Worked with the management to coordinate a table for a larger group and discussed pre set menus, everything went so seamlessly. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the atmosphere was great. We had mostly out of towners and they are still raving about the restaurant. 10/10 would recommended!

Customer service ok, good food, excellent music if you like pop/rnb/reggaeton, amazing decoration if you're on their rooftop.

Went to Baro Sunday in hopes of enjoying dinner at 6pm although was immediately denied entry by one the security guards who told us he didn’t accept one of the individuals in our group bc of their footwear. We then asked if she changed shoes would we be able to enter and he responded with “maybe”. We called the restaurant the following day to find out if there was a dress code and were told there was no dress code, they only have a dress code that is enforced at 10pm for the club. I am disgusted by how the Baro security treated us as it was blatant discrimination and I can only hope it was not racially motivated.

Service is super nice. Cocktail is good. (not the espresso martini)
Tostada and ceviche is good I would recommend you to try.

I came here before and was impressed by the food. However this time the visit is really disappointing with this super burnt chicken drumstick.
This is unacceptable in my definition of edible food… just cannot believe they would serve it?
I did not touch them and the server took it back.

I was also told the main kitchen wasn’t open…. Need to come back for the rice but I will never try their bbq menu anymore

Come here for the patio and 'gram, not the food or drinks. Everything we ordered was super expensive and not the most memorable. $6 for a guacamole dip! However I acknowledge that we were paying for the experience. Great place to chill on a weekend with friends.

One thing to note is that our server was pretty rude. It also took a very long time for our food to start coming out, and we were one of the first ones in.

Great vibe on a Saturday night, went for a round of late drinks on the fourth floor patio. Didn't have any food but ambiance was on point and what you'd expect/want for a night out in the city.

Went here after the lockdown, food and drink were still decent after all those months
Nice rooftop with modern decoration with live music and DJs, a bit loud at some point but was fine. It is an awesome night out spot for your dates or hanging out with friends. Table services are available and seem to be very popular. Food are fresh and taste is on point.

Great Ambience and food. I find prices worth it for seafood. Definitly missing some homemade hotsauce from the chef like habanero mango. But overall the quality is there and flavorful. The drinks are very well prepared also. They dont take reservations try to go early BUT then the same day I wanted to go there for drinks at night and they said no only reservations sssoooo we left a bit confused.

Every starter and Main were so good. Spices, herbs, and dressings were out of this world - the perfect mix!
Sarah our waitress was amazing, so pleasant, and had great command in managing our orders and specific requests.
We will be back next time we are in town.

Had the misfortune of trying their burger today. Burger was dripping blood. Meat was completely raw and undercooked. And this is coming from someone that enjoys a rare steak (note that I did not ask for it to be rare. Just asked for a burger) After returning the burger, they sent our table ANOTHER burger, which they've managed to make even more undercooked! Left with a sour taste and empty stomach.

In addition, we waited for almost 90 minutes outside, despite being told the wait was 40 minutes.
