I used to love this place. The receptionists Diane and staff were splendid and offered great service. Now it is upside down. They are very unorganized and a regular cleaning service was not done in one sitting. The appointment went for an hour, just for bottom teeth and they called it deep clean. I did not see any difference. They are charging extra for scaling on top of two insurance plans for my wife. I hope they get their act together soon. Otherwise we are moving away.

I feel the absence of Dr. Li.
The void has increased even more since the reception Diane left as well.
The new management has replaced Diane with 2 staff members. Still these two members seem to be struggling to do the work. The client service of this place has really gone down.

Went to the clinic after 3 years and was pleasantly surprised!
The staffs all helpful and knowledgeable regarding processing the insurance! Can’t say enough! I learned a lot!
Smiling laughing and the place is clean and organized - especially the front desk-very inviting
All new smiling faces! Relaxing atmosphere and looking forward to going back in December.
Hygienist was though and he answered all my questions and the doctor let me know I’m doing a good job but I need a crown - we sent an estimate

Amazing customer service! Front staff was so welcoming and the dentist and dental assistant answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. I will be coming back!

I chose South Nepean Dentistry for a dental bridge procedure three years ago. The process was smooth, and the doctor informed me that my bridge would come with a warranty. This assurance was one of the key reasons I opted for their service.
Unfortunately, a few days ago, the bridge broke while I ate breakfast toast. Surprised and concerned, I revisited South Nepean Dentistry, hoping the warranty would cover the necessary repairs. The staff checked my file and scheduled another appointment for a detailed examination.
During this follow-up visit, I was asked to undergo an x-ray of all my teeth. Concerned about potential costs, I inquired if these X-rays would be free of charge, given the warranty on my bridge. To my disappointment, after consulting with the front desk, the doctor informed me that my bridge was no longer under warranty.
This revelation was both surprising and disheartening. The lack of clarity and communication regarding the warranty terms has led to significant dissatisfaction with my experience. I left the clinic feeling let down and without any resolution to my problem.
While my initial experience with South Nepean Dentistry was positive, this recent encounter has markedly changed my perspective. It's crucial for healthcare providers, especially in dentistry, to maintain clear, consistent communication and honor commitments made to patients. Unfortunately, in my case, this was not upheld.

I came in for a cleaning which was done very through, and I was very pleased. I had an appointment to see a dentist for my front tooth. However, I think there has been a change in receptionists and management. Unfortunately, Diane no longer there. The new receptionist basically gave me her pushy diagnoses saying, “You will need a crown, you will need this, this will keep breaking cause of this”. I work in dental, I did not want her diagnoses, this is for a dentist and what a dentist is trained to do. I find it highly unprofessional and technically, not allowed. I just ended up just going for my cleaning.

I paid for mine and my wifes cleaning and then got billed for it again. Called to ask why i got billed. The person behind the desk had a emotional break down and hung up on me.ive been going to this dentist for years but since dianne has left i believe my family and i will be finding a new dentist.so unorganized and very unprofessional

We moved to Barrhaven South Dentistry after another Barrhaven dentist literally almost killed my wife due to carelessness. We had many years with a very positive relationship with Barrhaven South, and of all the dentists in Barrhaven, I do recommend them from a technical perspective, and even being wonderfully friendly overall. That said.we have had a longstanding agreement that I will only come into the office once a year in August, unless there is an urgent situation that requires another visit. My last regular visit went without a hitch in August 2021, but they booked me in for a January visit as a follow-up. I realigned my schedule, and drove 1/2 hr to get there for a 5 minute follow-up, and was told they had booked me in for a full cleaning instead. Nope - no time for that. They have since NOT booked me into my usual August cleaning, nor have I had any contact from them since their January 2022 error. We're now 18 months since my last checkup, with my next window of opportunity being in August - which will put me at 2 years between checkups. Thankfully I have pretty good teeth - but as of today, I am officially looking for a new dentist for my family.
