They are very friendly and attentive. The wait time also wasn’t too much. They took time to answer every question that we had.

They were ok as long as she was healthy, but failed miserably when she got sick. They were both rude and totally ineffective.

The staff were considerate, compassionate and caring when we lost our "pearl". They truly care for the animals and their owners.

I’ve visited this vet before. Called last week to schedule an appointment and chatted for 5 minutes with a very unprofessional, unpleasant and extremely rude receptionist. Lost all interest to deal with this business in the future if they are hiring these type of people. Called different clinic right after and scheduled an appointment with them. Choose a different place if you care about your pet.

The vet and staff seem to really care about the animals and have a lot of knowledge. Prices for services are more affordable than other animal hospitals we've been to.

I've been going to this vet for 10 years and I have to say that things have really gone downhill since I first started coming. If I'd listened to them and let them dismiss my concerns and waited the two weeks for my cat's initial appointment, then she would be dead. I ended up trusting my gut and going to another vet who made an appointment the same day and I was quickly reminded what a vet that cares about their pets looks like. No thanks to bathurst-dupont my girl is alive and recovering from a pretty serious health scare, and my new vet was disgusted with the way I was treated and assured me that if I'd waited my girl would likely have died. Just save yourself the heartache of potentially losing your best friend and go somewhere that doesn't overbook, dismiss your concerns, take your money and do the bare minimum.

If you want to meet a real Caring vet, that actually care about your pet and about your feelings and not only about your $$$ Dr. Koroknai (and is teem) is your Vet.

Amazing and affordable vet clinic in the Annex! I recently had to visit for a check up/vaccination before moving across the country with my cat on a plane and they were fantastic and friendly to us and my cat. Both veterinarian and technicians were very knowledgeable and they even brought up something I forgot to mention.

The only two downsides I had - you have to call to book an appointment. Sometimes you have to call more than one time to speak to the staff. They could get very busy. Wait time might be long depending on how busy they are. But understandable for a small local vet clinic.

Definitely recommend to people who live in the neighbourhood. So sad I’m moving and probably I won’t be able to visit them again. All the best to the team!:)

The best vet experience I have ever had! The staff here is incredibly compassionate and helpful, and Dr. Koroknai always made himself available and showed so much care for our two cats and dog. Would recommend to anyone looking to switch vets or on the look out for a new vet.

Hands down the best vet in Toronto, since we switched to them last year my pomeranian Leo is so well cared for. The staff and vets are beyond compassionate and clearly love animals. I have never once felt like something was overcharged or overpriced. I am so glad we found this vet:)

I've been taking my cat here for 12 years - he's been sick for a week now and they refuse to let me know if any cancelations come up to have him checked asap.

While the service is fine from the vet, with no website, no email, and barely a double line for the phone - I get a busy signal half the time. The hours are also brutal of you work ie: a 3 hour window on Saturday mornings for an appt, where you need to book almost 4 weeks out? It’s the year 2021, please attempt to operate your business like it’s in this century.

I've been having the best experience with doctor and assistants, they are kind and don't overcharge!

Vet was very nice and attentive when I went in with my fog, but he was not wearing a mask (only a plastic face shield that does absolutely nothing). The clinic is also impossible to get a hold of - there is constantly a busy signal, no voicemail, no website and no email address.

I used to to go this vet with my previous dog as I really appreciated them. I came back with my new dog and I have been extremely disappointed.

I paid $420 for tests and their service but my dog has still been sick; what makes it worse is that they have been impossible to reach via phone and they have no answering machine so I cannot discuss what is happening with my animal. They do not seem to understand that I am paying for a process and not just a one time session as some medical issues are not easily resolved.

Don't waste your money, go elsewhere as this business has lost its charm and professionalism over the last 15 months.

I have always liked Dr. Koroknei, and after hearing about my concerns, he contacted me directly despite that he is on vacation. I really appreciated this display of kindness and attempt to improve communication, but I am still unable to reach the vet clinic via phone.which is apparently due to high volume of calls.meaning I cannot reach them to give updates on how my dog is doing.

Anyway, still would not recommend based on poor customer service and communication, but Dr. Koroknei is a great vet.

Great staff, knowledgable and friendly. They always lay out all the details and costs completely transparently, and offer multiple options for treatment. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to get a hold of them since their phone line is always busy and they don't have a second line.

I've been taking my dog here for basically his entire life, at least the last 9 years. He's had a handful of surgeries/procedures done here - and for the most part - it was fine. He has chronic health issues/on medication which require monitoring (blood work every 9 months, etc.). While the actual doctors/vets are lovely and extremely caring - the clinic itself is very poorly run. Everything is analog (no voicemail/answering machine, no website, not even call waiting) ; so trying to get a hold of them is near impossible. After trying to get a hold of the clinic for the last 2 WEEKS (calling every day!), I've decided to try the clinic down the street - who answered my call right away and were able to get me an appointment within 7 days (not an emergency). I'm writing this review out of frustration. I have been loyal to this vet for years, and have probably spent close to 10k+ for their services, and it's disheartening to see they have yet to improve the accessibility of the clinic. Now I have to still continue to try and get a hold of them in order to obtain my dog's records for the new Vet. For the sake of the vets themselves, I hope someone can save this clinic and work on updating their system in order to better serve their clients. In the meantime.my dog and I will be at Annex Animal Hospital.

I am very thankful for the quality of care Dr. Attila Koroknai and their staff gave our dog over the last decade. Dr. Koroknai made sure our pup was happy and comfortable up until end of his life. I will always appreciate the care he received there.

Waited 31 min past the appt time as scheduled. They should be more proficient when it comes to timing. Any time more than 10 min of wait, customers should be aware of it, it only takes communication. Booking two full assessments at he same time will throw a schedule behind for one of the two customers and for the rest of the following appts.

Never encountered this issue, it was the very first time, I hope it does not occur again.

Otherwise, great attention and service from all staff.

Scammers! The same medications they’re selling is 3 times more expensive than getting them else where. No wonder they hand written all their receipts! Not to mention they’re super rude and manipulative, making you feel like you’re not doing things right so they can force to sell you medications your pet doesn’t need.

They will try and sell you everything you don't need for your pet and make you wait unnecessarily to do so. I went in to have my dogs eyes checked and they tried to get me to sign up for dental surgery

We’ve taken our 2 cats and dog to this vet for over a decade now and they are the best vets around (we’ve been to quite a few bad ones in Toronto). The duo Dr. Koroknai vets genuinely care about your pet’s well-being. They’re very kind, gentle, sympathetic & empathetic and always offer you the medical assistance required. They don’t try to charge you for extra procedures, meds, foods, etc.that aren’t required to make extra $ like many other vet clinics. We’ve never had any issues getting an appointment when required and they are efficient yet thorough and explain everything clearly and the fees are very fair. We have trusted them with our two late furry friends and our current geriatric cat for the best care & will continue to trust them with future pets to come. Their support staff are all lovely as well and take great care of your pets when they’re hospitalized for the day to have test run, etc. I can’t say enough great things about this wonderful animal hospital. Wish we could have more honest, genuine vets like them around.

The Vet is Amazing. Me and My girlfriend has taken both our dogs there multiple times. Only reason I am giving this a 2 star is because of the staff.they are extremely rude and have terrible customer service. If it wasn't for the Vet I would have gone elsewhere but this guy knows his stuff and very nice and humble person. Dr K you need to teach your vet techs and front desk staff how to treat your patients and their parents.

Dr Koroknai was recommended to me 10 years ago for my puppy. He is a very honest and caring vet and I trust this clinic with my dog’s healthcare. Their prices are fair and they will give you an honest opinion if you express financial concerns about what is most necessary and what is not.

Dr. K (The woman doctor with glasses and short dirty blonde hair) was amazing with my kitty. My kitty has been in a lot of pain and Dr K was incredibly responsive and helpful and answered all my questions. You could tell she truly cared! The office is accommodating and they are bringing a specific doctor in for my kitty tomorrow to help a difficult situation. It’s very stressful spending so much money but it is worth the good care bathurst dupont has given us.

My partner and I have been using the services of Bathurst DuPont Animal Hospital for 4 years. The service is always fantastic, the staff is so kind and easy to talk to, the Doctors are thorough, thoughtful, caring and fair. I have never felt taken advantage of with their pricing, it is always cheaper than I expect, but the level of service never drops. I have recommended this Ver clinic to many of my friends. I’m so thankful for this Vet.

Dr. Koroknai and his team cared for our dog for 10 years. The entire staff were always welcoming, friendly, compassionate and helpful. What a wonderful, knowledgeable friendly vet Dr. Koroknai is! I brought in my baby seal point Sphynx kitten named “Mya” for her second round of shots! This hospital has provided excellent care for both of my cats. They provide guidance and care that is compassionate, friendly, practical, gentle and empathetic. They have been flexible and always done their best to accommodate us.

I was one of the first customers at Bathurst Dupont animal hospital when it originally opened many many years ago. I had moved out of the area and been using other vets well today I went back and I ever glad that I did.this is still one of the best animal hospitals in the city they care about your animals and you!

The number one thing I love about this vet office is the way that they offer you options and do not push anything on you. Other vets in Toronto will try to make you feel like a piece of garbage because you cannot afford a $10k set of tests and diagnosis treatments. These guys care about the animals and will work with you to get the best treatment for your pet. Highly recommend this spot!

Best Vet clinic! I only take my cat here, the service is warm and friendly and the veterinarians give the best care without breaking the bank.

They deserve more than 5 stars, amazing doctors and staff. Thank you for squeezing us in and helping our dog at such short notice.

Took my puppy there. The vet was nice and playfully sticking out his tongue to my dog as he was evaluating him. Their prices were good, I did not feel like they were upselling me to get more $ out of me. Dog came in and out of there happy even after vaccination.

Their service is horrible. Their blonde nurse always offers sass and a cold attitude.

We had to come back 2 additional times because of stitches they FORGOT to take out and THEY gave us attitude about botching THEIR job. The vet then proceeded to declare we should report him to the association if we wanted, he didn't care. All because we dared to ask for them to fairly compensate us for the two additional trips we had to make for them to finally get all the stiches out.

After that, he sent one of his assistants to throw us $30 cash.

I would highly recommend you take your dog elsewhere, we are lucky ours did not get an infection.

Very reasonable prices here which is wonderful since the service is great. The vet I've seen is very friendly, knowledgeable and quite open for you to ask any questions or voice out any concerns you may have about your animal friends.

Our kitty needed dental cleaning and extractions. The team at BD animal hospital were amazing to deal with. They went above and beyond to ensure we were at ease during the process and our kitty made a quick recovery.

The reviews you read here are accurate. I have been to many other animal hospitals but these folks are the best all around!

They were very compassionate when we brought in my cat to be put down. Our family trusts them with all our animals. They seem to be genuinely concerned about health of pets and communication with parents

Dr. Koroknai is one of the most gentle, caring human beings I have ever encountered. His candor and demeanor immediately put both of my cats at ease. I, like many pet owners treat my animals as my own children, and as such I will only provide them with the best care I can find. I recently moved out of town, but I still make the up to four hour round trip drive just to get the piece of mind of having him taking care of some of the most important parts of my life. They are such caring people, the pricing is unbeatable (even outside of Toronto), they are one of the few places that truly, actually care about providing quality care for their patients. I only wish there were more people like this in the world.
