Spectacular atmosphere, beautiful lighting, the proposal to throw axes, this incredible good content of beer and snacks, they can suddenly put in a couple of hot dos or siders, but the rest is all Spectacular in the experience

Took my team here for a work function, we had a blast. Our coach Brian was a delight as well

We had the best experience! Hayden was absolutely AMAZING! It was my bday and he made my day super special! What a blast! Can’t say enough about this experience… trust me… just try it!

AWESOME. AXESOME. Sarah (axe tuition) and Brian (at the bar) were excellent. I didn't believe that you could go axe throwing and have a drink at the same time, but you can.
Great fun. Also pretty good beers actually. I probably wouldn't recommend drinking all night and keep axe throwing, but they are very sensible, and you can have a sensible drink whilst enjoying this fun. We will be back

Great place to be with your big group of friends or work colleagues for an awesome and quite different nature of team building activities.
The coaches are very humble and explained each and every step including the safety measures as part of training before the first timers or novices hit the battlefield.
Thanks to the BATLX team for the arrangements well in advance and our mentor Patrick for making it a pleasant experience of our entire work group.

We walked into a birthday party late and we were told we have to sign a safety waiver which we did, the waiver did not state the cost of being there. Did not have a single drink there and spent a lot of time smoking outside for the 1.5 hrs of being there. Owner comes for payment at the END of the night and I felt I got stiffed $150 dollars for three people. He said i was charged for 2hrs and i had advised I had not been there for 2 hrs and he said 1.5 hrs adds up to the same price.doesnt make sense.but the owner should be charging people when they walk in and sign the waiver so they know how much it costs! Will never return

Hosted a small gathering for a birthday party a few days ago. The location itself is somewhat obscure and hard to find. The building looks like it used to be a barn, which gives the space a cool, rustic vibe. Definitely would recommend if you're looking for something different from your usual Friday/Saturday night.

Fun activity by the docks. There are many stations available so it’s perfect for a group event. The staff were friendly and helpful in ensuring everyone was comfortable with the technique and had (at least some) success. Great way to spend an evening out!

It's a perfect place for axe throwing. They have limited parking. You can order food there I tried Pizza (truffle shuffle) and it was good.

Venue is perfect size with plenty of space to mingle and still have competitions going. Hosts and bartenders are helpful and knowledgeable. Check it out!

Had a great time at this Batl location. Have gone axe throwing before, and it's nice with the electronic scoring system everything goes really smoothly. Licensed bar is available for beer, mixed drinks and seltzers which is nice. The hosts and employees are really funny, friendly and just made the competition so much more fun. Definitely recommended!

Loved the experience at BATL grounds. Brian (the coach) was amazing and literally made me feel like a pro within 60 seconds and a matter of 3 throws.
Must visit for dates and or a fun day out over the weekend.

My date took me here, what an interesting experience! I may not be great at throwing axes, but but it sure was fun! This place is cool and unique, definitely recommended. Handing customers a beer and an ax, gotta love Canada!

We went there to spend time and have some fun with friends. The stuff were really nice and friendly. Brian helped us by showing us how to properly throw and the rules as this was our first time. This is a fun activity for groups, an awesome way to spend time with friends. An evening well spent and we’ll do that again! Recommend!

Went here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Tons of fun! Awesome atmosphere! Great staff! A+ experience all around.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Went for a team bonding event and had a great time. They offer a large variety of drinks, with some food options as well. The location is a bit far off and hard to reach without a car or ubering.

A good place for an evening activity with friends! I recommend going for more than 1 hour if you are in a group of > 4 people.

Loved the experience. You can really have an awesome time if you go there with a big group of friends. The host was really welcoming and you get a proper 10 minute tutorial on how to throw the axe. I think it's worth the bucks.
Oh, and do carry your vaccine QR code with you, they ask for it.

Great vibes! I will definitely be coming back. The staff were very welcoming and also gave pointers on axe throwing through out my visit.

The location was a bit tricky to find. The entrance to the parking lot is slightly hidden as it’s on a curve.

The place is really huge for groups to come in and go about axe throwing. I went there on an occassion and it was my first time Axe throwing and I loved it.

The overall experience is really good!

Just that the drinks are super costly but hey you get it there so that cancels out:)

Had a spectacular time with my friends! The teachers there were exceptional, absolutely hilarious, so friendly and extremely encouraging (especially Cam and the dude in the beanie who had blonde hair?)! Highly recommend this place!

The staff here were so accommodating. My friend and I went in on a whim, not knowing you had to schedule and they found time for us to come throw. It was so fun and the site has a great atmosphere. They offer tournaments and bonding events with your company and they serve adult beverages onsite if you want to enjoy a beer while you throw.

Dan was extraorDANary! He was energetic and informative. Our group had 4 people who were new to axe throwing. He was really good as our teacher, coach, and referee. He ensured that everyone had individualized recommendation to play well.

In the final game it was so intense, because he taught us so much that they really battled it out competitively!

We had a DAN-tastic time here! So I highly recommend this location since they also have parking. Of course, all the staff were nice! We look forward to future visits!

Great fun. Went for a work thing.think I will grab some friends and head back on my own.excellent staff (smaller frames fellow was very funny and effusive) and there is something instinctually satisfying in throwing an axe.

2nd time trying axe throwing and I like this place loads better than the previous one. Our coach Andres was awesome and always made sure we were having fun while safe! Definitely plan on coming back to this same one, great location. Hope to get Coach Andres again! Also having alcohol available on-site? -Win!

Great time Great experience. I have went to one of these before in the states, but this was a far and away better experience. Ryan was our guide and he did a great job and was very thorough and made the experience for us all.

Never done axe throwing before, so come here to give it ago and it was brilliant and so much fun, Ryan was our coach for the Hour and he was amazing show us all different techniques and made sure we tried the big axe aswell. Deffo recommend this place great vibe and they look after you! Perfect all round!

Been here with a small group on 08/11/19, had so much fun! Lady at the bar (sorry, didn't catch on her name) was a sweetheart. Instructor was taking care of us for entire time.

Had a great time with work folk. The two staff members Adam and Clinton were super awesome. Guidance for a first timer like myself really helped. Came out with the trophy in the end!

Was super fun! Went there as a company event. Had a great time throwing axes! Coaches are very helpful and motivating.

The staff was awesome, nick and Andreas (probably spelt that wrong) were patient with us and taught us how to throw safely and properly and then made the round robin tournament fun. They were very social with the large group.we all had a great time. Great price for the amount of time we had

We had an absolute blast at Batl axe Toronto east. Glen and Brian were key in making our experience the best it could be. We booked a 2 hour private party since we had 8 people and was my son's 15 birthday. We had plenty of coaching to start then set off playing our tournament. We all were successful sticking our axe and quickly got the hang of it. It was the most fun we've had in a while! Highly recommend doing this and will definitely be there again! Brought in a cake to celebrate my son's birthday and was able to purchase drinks. Can't wait to go back!

First time supervised while throwing an axe. Actually learned how to do it without hurting myself. Wasn't half bad. Wasn't half good either. Lots of fun. Good instructor. Would do it again.

Went here on a work retreat, it was great. We had lot of fun, I believe it was Sean that took care of us, we had a fun time, drinking booze and throwing axes, what more could we ask for?

I can't speak on the costs since company paid for it, but its definitely a great time and it's a lot more intimidating looking than it actually is.

Fantastic experience! A lot of fun, and a great way to spend time with family and/or friends. Staff is nice and friendly, our axe expert Pedro was great. Highly recommend it.

Our batl instructor Clinton was awesome, he explained everything and had a lot of patience. Only complaint is you get a bit tired waiting for everyone to have a turn if there is a bigger party.

Surprised with this for my birthday and it was a perfect choice, everyone enjoyed the night win or lose. Once it's over you won't believe 2 hours have passed. I may be hooked.

Fun Times! Grabbed a drink at the Keating Channel nearby and then threw some axes. The staff were great and we had a fun time

Went for a friend's birthday and loved it. Great set up and the instructors are so friendly and encouraging. Will definitely come back.

Great place to go with friends or colleagues. Instructors are wonderful. The industrial physical nature of the place adds to the fun. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Toronto. They also have a bar where you can buy drinks

Great place. Tons of fun, location is a bit dated, but it is what it is. Our instructor Dan was awesome, no complaints.

Went for a birthday party and had a blast! With tax, it costs about $45 and you get 2 hours total. The first hour was chill, just getting training from the instructors and practicing throws, but the second hour is when it gets interesting!

They start a round robin and host your scores on the TV screen beside each section. After you play about 3 games each (depending on the size of your group), it goes into a final tournament to determine the ultimate winner.

Overall had a great time! But tbh, to me, it's a one time experience, but definitely worth trying out if you've never been!

If you're looking for a fun way to whittle away a few hours, axe throwing is a fun way for a group of friends to do it.

I enjoyed "the big axe" used to settle ties. The clutch dots are a unique touch.

I was here with a group of ladies for a bachelorette party and we had a GREAT time. This was the highlight of the weekend for most of us. The staff was super friendly and set up a fun round-robin game for us and kept score so all we had to do was have fun, drink so beers and get good photos of the bride. I would absolutely come back again. We we're all from out of town so we immediately were looking for axe throwing venues near our homes but I don't think any will compare to BATL!

Always a great time. For anyone reading this, join a league and come meet some great people. I've been throwing in a league for about two years and can honestly say it's been great.

I used BATL on Villiers for a fundraising event and it was a fantastic experience. People had so much fun. The staff were very professional and accommodating. They were super patient with people and extremely polite. It was a seamless experience for me as the organizer. The management and staff of this location are top-notch. I can't recommend them highly enough.
