1st season 2 weeks in everyone has been very helpful and sharing tips on how I can improve and I haven't been hit in the head yet but it is still early in the season

We had a fantastic time here and Aaron took fantastic care of us. Highly recommend spending an evening here, lots of fun!

I recently visited BATL for an ax-throwing experience, and it was an absolute blast! The venue had a great rustic vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Safety was clearly a top priority, and they made sure we were comfortable and confident with the throwing techniques.

The instructors AJ and O’Neil were fantastic - patient and knowledgeable. They gave us tips on improving our aim and even organized some fun games and challenges to make the experience even more enjoyable.

It was our first time at BATL. What an awesome experience! Kyle was awesome coaching us through the whole hour! A great coach!

AJ our instructor was great. They came back to us off and on during our evening and gave us tips and further instructions to sharpen our throwing skills.
Bar staff was great and friendly with recommendations for drinks as well.

Thanks for such a great time. Aaron was awesome, he explained how and what to do so well. And checked in on us with pointers. After each pointer we were more successful. Definitely had a great time. Thanks batl!

Clean place. It was a good time out with family. Wish we could do it more often. But it’s outside of our budget.

The staff was amazing and took extra time to give us pointers! We had a lot of fun and will for sure come back with different groups of people!

My husband and I went to BATL Axe for a date night and it was so much fun. The instructor was extremely helpful but didn’t hover at all. He taught us what we needed to know and then let us do our own thing. The space is big and the washrooms are clean. Definitely looking forward to going back!

After possibly not being able to participate due to confusion about proper vaccine documentation, the staff was able to come up with a solution that was consistent with government guidelines and got me into the game! Thanks for a great experience.

Honestly have to say, one of the most enjoyable experiences I have had in a long time, if your looking for something to do post quarantine, this is it! Not only do you get to release some tension while having fun, they coach you through it. Once trained up they leave you too the fun, and if you need anymore assistance or to tweak your through, they are readily available. Would definitely recommend. Thanks guys your the best, I will be back.

My boyfriend and I recently celebrated our 11th anniversary together and wanted to try out something new to celebrate. BATL London was an excellent choice. The staff there were so awesome and very nice to us newbies. They walked us through everything and gave pointers on how to throw better throughout our time slot. The place was clean and bright inside. I highly recommend checking this place out for a date night or just some friends getting together for something fun to do.

Went for the first time a week ago and Jen made it so enjoyable that we went back again and worked with Emily, who was also great. Both times had a blast and got better within one session!

Loved the competition and cheering friends to hit the target. It's harder than it looks but it's very satisfying when you hit the target. I definitely would go again.

Very very good experience! Jen, our instructor, made things simple, gave us plenty of tips to improve our throwing, and made it a welcoming environment. Had fun, takes a bit of time to get your sweet spot in throwing the hatchet, but it's worth it. Prices are fair, not expensive at all. Great facility, good vibes! Fun night spent learning how to throw an axe with a few friends. As one would do! Very impressed with the facility - so big! Cam was a great instructor and a fun sport. Plan to go back! Insert all shaft jokes here.

We went for a bachelorette party, most of us had not thrown an axe before. This was a fantastic time. Cam was our coach and he did a fantastic job and kept the time fun and safe. Will definitely be back.

Our Coach Chantal was amazing, even though I was horrible at throwing, she never stopped encouraging me that I could do it and continued with tips and tricks. Our whole group had a fantastic time, we would go again and again!

LEANNE is the best coach! She had us hitting bullseyes in no time! Her sense of humour and energetic vibe made our night amazing!

Absolutely love it! Staff knows their stuff. They showed me how to single hand throw rather than 2 hands behind the back and immediately my aim improved a bunch. Considering joining a league!

I've been hooked on throwing since I tried at a bachelor party years ago.this is one of the top notch franchises in Canada for Axe Throwing. From elaborate leagues, to being involved in a national ranking system. This location also has a great bar, great vibes, amazing staff. Go Here!

Went to BATL for a small team building event and had Cameron as our coach. He was awesome! Very helpful tweaking our movements so we could actually hit the boards, was encouraging, and he really knows his stuff. Would definitely recommend!

My friends and I went for a bachelorette party. With it being a bachelorette, I was disappointed at first to have a girl. But Jen was sooo much fun, we were glad we got her! We had lots of laughs! And axe throwing was fun too!

Chantelle and Leanne were great. They were both really helpful, and made the night fun. Although I wasn't able to finish the tournament due to a personal emergency, they still worked really hard to make it a fun night for everyone. I will definitely be back.

Yesterday we went to BATL for company tournament. It was wonderful experience. All the coaches there are fully enthusiastic and energetic. Learnt some really good technique of Axe throwing. For first few minutes in the beginning we did some practice to try different techniques to throw the axes like with single hand or double hand to figure out the best technique for you. After that the game was on. We were the team of six competing with other six. One from the team has to throw 5 axes in a row and then switch the places with the other teammate. There are three round for 5 axes The center circle gives 5 points, the middle circle gives 3 and the outer most circle gives 1 point. You can also go for the clutch (the two small green circle on the top) that gives you 7 points. Overall it was the very best experience and would definitely visit soon.

Cool place overall, but our experience was tarnished by the annoying and rude ax babysitter, Hannah. She mocked our bad throws relentlessly and didn't explain the rules well. She accused me of "trying to break axes", but had no answer for me when I asked "when did you explain how hard is too hard? "

Because of the group, we had a lot of fun. But that ax babysitter Hannah was rude, accusatory a big downer towards our group unfortunately, and didn't explain the rules very well or help with ax throwing techniques. The friend who brought us all out had been twice before and raved about his expert ax handler and how good their throwing training was top notch.

This was an awesome place! The employees really make it incredible! They're very sociable and accommodating! Not a single complaint from our group of 8 people, just a really fun night with a lot of fun memories!:)

I recently joined a league here and I'm really happy that I did. All of the staff are very friendly, very helpful and within a few weeks I've gotten much better at this. If you've tried this out for a work event, party, etc and loved it I'd highly recommend trying out a league.

This place is fun for dates or group events! Great customer service and overall friendly atmosphere. What’s better then having a drink and throwing an axe? ! Check it out!

Great time had by all. Pretty awesome idea really. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The bar is stocked and can accommodate plenty of people. My only gripe would be the prices which are a little bit staggering.

Fun night out. Great place to celebrate birthdays.etc. Takes some practice but once you get the hang of it.you might hit the target!
Drinks are a bit pricey and to play is above what we would spend for a night out.
Our instructor, Ben, was high energy that made it a lot more interesting to play for the beginners. Axe throwing is fun but not something I would do regularly.
