BATL The Backyard Axe Throwing League

My partner and I came here for our date night and we will absolutely be coming again! Our coach Kate was absolutely amazing and so sweet - and not hesitant to give tips so we could throw properly and have a good time!

Definitely a good spot for a good night out!

My first time axe throwing and I was out on a first date lol. I was pretty nervous about it, more so the axe throwing part. Roberto hooked it up and gave some excellent tips! I definitely exceeded my own expectations of how well I did! Left handed throws too. Thanks Roberto

Angel did a great job of hosting our corporate event. It was a fun morning! Only critique I can give was that I wish the bathrooms were a little cleaner. Otherwise a perfect experience.

Roberto was amazing! He created such a memorable experience for our group and made sure we had the best time!

Had a great time throwing axe for the first time ever. My friend had her bachelorette party here and the staff was extremely helpful teaching everyone.

Had our team xmas party here. Everyone had such an awesome time. Employees are very professional and worked extremely well with our kids.

We had a blast today at the Home Concierge pre holiday party. Sydney was a fantastic coach and ensured we had fun, even when we missed the target! Would highly recommend this event. Great staff, great atmosphere in a clean and well cared for environment!

Had a birthday surprise and we had a great time management was very helpful and Cindy our coach took the time to make us better axe throwers. Its tougher than you would think with many throws at the beginning bouncing everywhere and not sticking. However with the coaching from Cindy and our determination we managed to get the swing of things (no pun intended) when we hit the bullize.we all said we love this sport. If you're looking for a fun and unique experience, BATL Axe Throwing is the perfect place for you. The axes are also really well-balanced and easy to throw, so even if you've never done it before, you'll be hitting the target in no time. Mark and Katie were both very welcoming and made sure our group had a great time. Overall, I had an amazing time at BATL Axe Throwing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun activity.

Super fun place to go with groups of friends, make sure to book ahead of time, it gets very busy on weekends.the instructors were super friendly and awesome to work with

Great experience. The place is well maintained and the training session was great (a bit short, but sufficient to get started I guess). Also I feel the price is a bit steep (came to about 35$ a person after taxes) for an hour of experience. We were 5 people, so had to share two throwing spots/axes. But definitely worth trying once.

Mark is the best. Axe throwing is even funner then I thought it would be, and this is the best place to do it for your first time.

This is a ridiculously fun activity. Went to an open house with a friend and now I'm hooked. Staff are all very friendly and encouraging. Some of the best throwers in NA throw here. No beard required!

Went here for a bachelor party. Could not recommend this location any more. Syd and Roberto were both fantastic with excellent customer service. Will definitely come back.

Our family had a good time here. Service was good, staff was friendly.
Pricing was a little too high. Additionally, upon payment, the machine asks if we want to tip, which honestly makes it feel like it's necessary to tip.
We appreciated the staff letting us know that we still had some play time left when we thought we were done.

Nice place to throw axe and release your stress. I went on Thursday so it is not that crowded. They also have pizza and beer. I think the cost is $30 plus taxes per person. You have an instructor too. Worth trying!

Had an amazing date night experience. Our coach was funny, friendly and patient - we had lots of fun and enjoyed our stay. There is also a bar and they allow group reservations and catering, which makes it a great spot to come back with friends. Awesome idea for a fun night out!

Wow! First time axe throwing and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Our coach CJ was great. Walked us through the basics and gave some great tips throughout the game. Mel was a delight as well. Would definitely recommend! We will be back.

Hadriano great time and the staff made all the difference. The training and encouragement was the best and you could tell they really wanted you to have fun.

What a great team building experience!
Our charity team hasn't gotten together like this for so long due to COVID and we missed team building activity so much! It absolutely exceeded our expectations! Big thanks to Mark and CJ who made our first axe throwing experience so much fun and engaging! Also, they sell beer! Big bonus!

My friends and I went to Batl to celebrate my birthday this past Saturday and we had an amazing time! Kim was our coach/axe master and she was awesome! Jade was great too! She checked us in and made our drinks. Thank you Kim and Jade for such a fun night!

We went to BATL this past Saturday to celebrate a birthday. We had an absolute blast. The staff was beyond helpful and pleasant. We had Amanda as our coach/axe master and she was magnificent. I highly recommend not only axe throwing, but this specific location. I will return to defend my championship!

Amanda, our Axe Master is just a natural.she is a great coach, supportive, motivating and displays true passion for the game. She has a pleasant personality and shared very insightful techniques. Peanut and Kim are deadly, went for brothers birthday, everyone could participate, good instruction but not controlling, was a great time, definitely going again.

I love this place! The staff are chill and it’s a comfortable atmosphere. I booked a work social event here and I was very happy to see every single person have a great time! Roxanna was such an amazing instructor and was key in creating the best experience for each of us. People who had never thrown an axe before were landing them in the target not long after her coaching. We laughed, we competed, and when it was over, Peanut came and hyped us up even more for group photos! I can’t wait to go back!

BATL Axe Throwing is such a fun experience! The staff there are very kind and supportive. Jaden and Kim were especially helpful. My partner and I walked in on a Sunday around mid day and we got a space right away. We had a great time!

This was my first time throwing, it's a lot of fun! Amanda was great at explaining the rules and helping our group with our technique.

Had an amazing time with my family here to celebrate a birthday. Peanut was a great instructor and host. Many cheap laughs and friendly competition. Kim was a great DJ. 10/10 would recommend for any group activity.

Amazing experience. I was quite nervous as I have never done something like this before but Jamie (Peanut) was an excellent and patient teacher. Within minutes we were all hitting bullseyes. Enjoy that beer Peanut!

Axe throwing, better than darts. The coaches were kind and helpful and ran a fun competition between groups. Kim and Rengo (spelling?) were great.

I came here for a team building event. The hosts were friendly, upbeat and funny. They also had a serious side as you are dealing with real axes. The time was well laid out with 2-3 practice runs for everyone in our group then a round robin style tournament which ended in a bracket to determine the winner. It came down to the last round to determine the winner and by that time we we're all excited! Good times!

A fantastic experience with our bachelor party! We thought we wouldn't hit a damn thing, but with good coaching, we were hitting targets much more easily than we did at the start.

It also makes you feel like some sort of rugged Scotsman or a Nordic John Wick. Would definitely love to come back!

Fun place to be. You can have birthday party of corporate events. Participants are shown how to throw an axe and allowed to compete with each other. Overall a fun time. Expensive but fun.
