Just wanted to praise the overall service provided with entire staff last night on New Year’s Eve. From the moment we walked we were greeted by the hosts in the front lobby. We had a large table of 9 and the service was excellent, our appetizers came out right away followed by our entrees. All the food was served hot and absolutely delicious. This is our 3rd year booking New Year’s Eve at this location and will continue going back. We visit this location at least once a month and the service and food are always spot on. We highly recommend Baton Rouge in Whitby, if you’re looking for excellent food and service. Thanks again to the amazing staff for providing such excellent service and delicious food.

My husband and I had our wedding dinner here in Dec 2022, it was a wonderful experience. We decided to return every anniversary. Dec 2023 They made us feel special and the food was incredible. Steaks were perfect. Thank you to John and our server Steph B.

Excellent atmosphere and ambiance. Food is always well prepared. Staff is pleasant and professional.

1. Food tastes good but you would need to order a double portion in order to leave even slightly satisfied. For $30 I expect to be full when I leave.
2. The ribs look like they’re from a malnourished pig - a 1/2 rack is barely enough food for a kid.
3. The kids menu is more empty plate than actual food. My kids were still hungry when we left.
4. $3 for sweet potato fries for a kids meal - not cool
5. Service was good.
6. Restaurant itself is a nice vibe.
7. One thing I found strange- the food came out 5 mins after we ordered it. I like fast service but this made me question if the food was fresh or just kept warm like a lunch counter.

Never again ordering over Uber eats this is the tenders I got delivered over cooked hard so disappointed not Ubers fault this isn’t the first time I’ve ordered and been disappointed this place use too be good but never again completely put off.

I can never get myself to order anything other then the ribs which are the best I've had anywhere.

Went for my baby daddy's birthday. Had a nice time. The waitress was very nice (her name was Paige). The only thing that went wrong was we ordered a filet mignon that didn't a filet mignon, even though our waitress said it was a filet mignon.

Sat Dec 3rd took my college son out for a nice dinner before exams start and was so pleased with our dinner at this Baton Rouge location. I've not been to one in maybe 4yrs. The service in the lounge area, from the front desk greeting to our friendly and welcoming server, the whole experience along with the large portion and delicious food was the best way for us to catch up. We'll definitely go back again. This was my gnocchi with holumi cheese and broccoli. It was also dinner the next night too.

On our first night in Whitby, we happened upon this place by chance. This was our 11th night in Canada and so far the best meal of the entire trip.
I enjoyed the Thai Steak Salad and that was the best meat I've had in a long time. The whole dish was a wonderful explosion of exotic tastes.
My wife had the Tuna Power Bowl and was well pleased with that as well.
We both had gin and tonic with our meals.

I recommend this place without hesitation. The atmosphere is nice, the service is friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.

We chose this location for a Christmas party with 20+ people. During the planning process, staff was very friendly and eager to help. Everyone had a great time! The atmosphere was beautiful, the food delicious, and the service was amazing. Thank-you, Mat and Michelle for helping to make the evening a success.

It's been awhile since we've dined at Baton Rouge Whitby location. We dined there tonight to celebrate a birthday. We were seated and waited about 10 minutes before anyone even came to our table. The waitress that came to our table said she was not our waitress but she could take our drink order, no water or anything offered. We received our drinks, one was wrong, we ordered our food and one meal was wrong. The blackened salmon that was ordered was not, the plate was taken away to fix the salmon order. The salmon came back I'm sure as the same piece loaded with salty spice and not blackened and crispy as suggested by the waitress. The rice was warm, vegetables warm and hard, couldn't cut thru them without using a steak knife. Filet mignon was ordered and asked if the order was with or without bacon, of course bacon, how else do you prepare it, the bill arrived with a charge for bacon, really!
Real disappointing experience, though the atmosphere was nice, the company was great, and having the opportunity to get out for a celebration even better.

We had an excellent meal. Ribs and Chicken cannot be beat with the fries and coleslaw. The steak and baked potatoes amazing. Juliana an excellent server and great to meet the Manager John. So nice to be there again having a great meal. Thank you.

Haven't been to the Whitby location since before Covid began. Wonderfu staff who were happy to see us a family of 4 for dinner. Food was tasty and hot. Portions were excellent. Staff did what was needed to satisfy our picky kids. Will be back soon!

We absolutely love Bâton Rouge in Whitby. We’ve been here plenty of times but tonight we were there for our Anniversary.
Kaileen (our server) was excellent. She went above and beyond to ensure we had a great meal & experience.
Where else brings out an extra half rack of ribs (without us asking) because THEY thought the bones on our initial plates were a bit small? I’ve never seen that before.

Btw, order the chocolate chip cookie for dessert. It’s not on the menu but it should be. Wow!

We will definitely be back.

We absolutely love it here! The staff are amazing, the food is fantastic, and we're treated like family every time we go to the Whitby location!

Very friendly staff, food arrived at an appropriate time & they had a reasonable meal offer.

This evening was my first time eating at Baton Rouge and quite honestly, I was not impressed at all. I had a Fillet Mignon dinner with vegetables and a loaded potato. The steak was as dry as could be and it had an awful after taste that I personally have never tasted before on a good quality Fillet Mignon and the potato had zero flavor but drowned in butter. I have been to many restaurants with incredible steaks but this was not on my list.

This used to be so good. Sides no longer available. Staff don't tell you this when you order. Chicken is no longer crispy batter. It's hard and crust like. Nothing like it used to be. Shame. I loved this place. Last 2 times. Food was not worth it. Not hot. Not fresh. Left a bad taste in my mouth.

Food was great, large portions. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was busy but still comfortable. I'd go again.

Went to the Whitby location for dinner, they started their lobster menu, which is like 4/5 items. Decided to get the lobster sandwich which I thought would be bigger chunks of lobster and just bigger in general for the price. The sandwich was very small, and the lobster was tiny pieces mixed in with other items so really not a lot of lobster. For the piece you would have though chunks of lobster and maybe a ciabatta bun or something. Won’t have this again. Staff were very friendly though.
