Bâton Rouge Grillhouse & Bar

I like Baton Rouge. The only thing that bothers me is that spinach dip is generally a favourite of mine but their's is gluey and bland. I knew this and then forgot and ordered it recently and was disappointed all over again. I wish they would change that one recipe. Otherwise very good.

Ordered mushroom chicken dinner w/mashed potatoes, but would suggest staying away from the mashed potatoes (had the consistency of dry oatmeal).

Great place to enjoy a good dinner before the Sens game! On New Years Eve! Great food and big portions!

Service from the kitchen was slow.
Our server was pleasant and prompt.
Fries were piping hot, ribs were cooked.
It'll be a while before we go back.

Tried their seafood tower, the lobster & ribs are really nice. The chicken burger is juicy and tasty. Service is a bit slow but friendly.

We come by holiday season Thursdays night, was pretty busy, make sure you come early food come Out a little bit late than usual, service good, receipt made a mistake, but fixed it right away. Steak have a lot of tendons ，is average. But the burger was good.

Took my wife for dinner on New Years Eve 2023 and this was our first time ever at a Baton Rouge. I was expecting the same level of quality in their food as The Keg but I was very wrong. We both ordered steak, myself the 16oz Ribeye and her the Sirloin. I opted for the double baked potatoe skillet I guess you would call it and the vegetables. My meal came and the steak was seared black on the outside so much it was like charcoal and the vegetables were not even fresh they were frozen from I would say Costco and they were so saturated with water and cold. My potatoe skillet was the same it was cold potatoes under the cheese and they also must have been frozen cause they were full of water as well. The steak had no flavor or seasoning on it at all. The only good thing about the meal was the lobster stuffed mushrooms we had as an apatizer. After a $200 bill inwas very very disappointed and will never eat there again nor recommend to anyone else. The best part of the experience was our server, she was so very friendly and down to earth so we left her a nice tip. Do better Baton Rouge.

Big portions and great service. Casual spot to celebrate and enjoy a yummy bowl of potato soup.

Best experience and best food I promise they treat us soo good and heather she was one of the best servers we ever had.all of them amazing.

Good ribs, great service

Try the chicken finger with the ribs, surprisingly good combo

Amazing service, very fast, very friendly, awesome food. Heather was our main waitress but all the others were as excellent as she was. We were a table of 4, and the 4 of us were impressed with the quality of the experience.

Service was excellent, but the food overall was quite poor. Appetizers were ok, but the mushroom chicken was drowned in a rather tasteless, watery sauce. We're unlikely to return.

The restaurant was above and beyond. On entrance the decor is cozy and elegant. The red and wood were just right with the lights.
The crowd were on their 30’s and above. The waiters were very nice and friendly, our waitress was Britney. She was amazing and her advices were so good and knowledgeable. Every detail, every salsa and her choices were delicious.
The variety of food was big. Those are some of the dishes that we ordered. We loved it. And will be one of our favourite places.
By the way, don’t hesitate to give them a call and book a table, even if the website shows that it’s fully booked. They will find you a spot for your party.

The wait staff tries to upsell you so hard. They want to make sure you get extra apps, coffee, dessert. It’s assertive and annoyed the dining experience for me.
Bathrooms need attention, cracked tile and scratched wood, soap dispenser broken and no paper towels.
Worst part was my food sickness. I went home and straight to the bathroom, I have not experienced that before. I was in the bathroom immediately upon returning home as was a person that dined with me and had the same meal.
I called the restaurant to let them know out of caution and they did not return my call as I requested.

1st time without a WOW factor attached, food wasn't THAT hot, wasn't busy either. No, we didn't tell one-off the servers we had. But, we will try it again!

Deb and Laura are very friendly and accommodating. They always remember our choice of meal and beverage. Very happy to see that they remain as our servers be when we show up. Thank you ladies!

Food was great, service from Baldassare was amazing. Great first experience at this location, would absolutely recommend!

We had our anniversary dinner at Baton Rouge. Brittany was our waitress. She was amazing, friendly (with her lovely smile). She came few times to check with us to see if everything okay. Especially compared with the host/hostess (No greeting, no smile. I guess because they don't have tips?) Brittany was the best. We had the Sangrias, Surf & Turf Tower. OMG. So delicious. I had white chocolate raspberry cheesecake for dessert. All I can say, I enjoyed my dinner. I definitely will go back because of the food and of course because of Brittany too.
