Good place to play badminton with availability of both rental shoes, rackets, and shuttles in case you don't have it. Staff is great and co operative.

Great for badminton lovers. Just need to book in an advance because it's always busy.

You should be that much polite for the business not hare in review. But you guys use abusing language when someone complains about your court service.

Amazing place to play and have fun. Staff is as amazing as it gets, they were extremely kind and helpful. Anyone that says otherwise needs to get a grip in life. I highly recommend Battledore Badminton Club:)

Light-soled shoes are required in the converted warehouse with badminton courts throughout. As someone who wears size 14 shoes, it was painful to learn the rentals only go to 13, and there was only 1 pair. Anything you need to buy is available, and there is a small weight room off to the side. Courts are close, but adequately spaced for the sport.

Pathetic and unprofessional. Happened with me twice that they denied me a court even after a confirmed reservation because they overbook. Just concerned about money especially for the pass holders. The moment you ask for booking they come up with some policy to not give you a court. Dual policies which they don’t have answers for-Few pass holders they allow to play in prime time few they don’t. Highly unprofessional. 0/5 stars.

Nice place, not so expensive $27 an hour try to bring shoes if you don’t want to spend extra dollor as shown picture just swipe

It’s a nice spot to play but the service is hit or miss (pun intended). Sometimes they have really friendly staff, other times not so much. There’s a lady in particular (I think it’s the owner) that gives unnecessary attitude when replying to even the most basic questions. I’ve experienced this at least a couple times so I know it’s not a one-off scenario. Seems like multiple people have felt this way about her too. You can’t be snarky with your customers if you’re going to run a business.

When you join club. The rules are different. But after they change the rules. One lady there she is too much rood and greedy

Many badminton courts, passionate coaches, and friendly owners provide very good service and an athletic environment.

High ceiling. Good lighting. Very roomy between court. Very clean environment. A+ badminton facility. Only CONS: far end corner court's lighting not enough

New window covering. It is a thicker matetial. Much less natural light then before, it creates a better interior lighting.

Place is good enough to have a better game. We have pay for all. It is better to have your own racket and badminton shoes to save money.

Great place to play badminton! Usha (owner) set me up with a group that organizes drop-in games, and has been knowledgeable and friendly throughout. Battledore has strict rules about players shoes which helps promote a certain level of professionalism, and results in clean, playable courts. The pro shop has some really nice equipment, and stocks racquets for players at different levels. The venue offers training/coaching which is awesome for people serious about taking their game to the next level. The ceilings are high, the lights have been placed appropriately, and the facility is clean and bright overall. Kudos to the Battledore team!

An elite facility in GTA to play badminton. Offers coaching by highly experienced and professional coaches. Wide range of Badminton equipment available at the pro-shop, includes stringing services as well. The owners, Mendy and Usha really work hard to ensure that players have best experience at Battledore. Do meet them during your next visit.

Very poor lighting setup and stupid shoe policy as the management allow accepts only specific brands. I had a non-marking shoe but it was not in the list therefore I was compelled to rent a shoe to continue playing.

We were 5 people.
It was 61$ for 1.5hrs all included (tax & shoes 4$ for each person). As there is a specific type of shoes requirement. These shoes are good for grip on the court. The court was good, clean. Only problem, after playing for half hour we were feeling suffocated because there was not enough ventilation. All windows were closed and I think there was no A. C too.

The lady at reception is very rude and unprofessional. I confirmed before booking a court that I have indoor non marking gum sole shoes and she said you can use them. When I got there, she said we allow only Yonex and Li Ning shoes. As if only these two brands make indoor court shoes. We were forced to get rental shoes (btw, they have rental shoes other than Yonex and Lining). I use my shoes at two other badminton facilities where they have strict shoe policy but nobody disapproved my shoes there.

Another major issue is the lighting and lack of visibility because of blue background. Its very difficult to spot a shuttle. The lady at reception kerps bugging while the game is on. She kept reminding us the our time is almost over, though we had around 10 mins left.

Those who are leaving 5 star reviews should visit some other facilities and see how good they are.

Battledore is only 5 mins drive from my place but would rather drive for 30 mins than dealing with rude and arrogant staff.

Very convenient place especially for those in West Woodbridge. Clean, good quality courts (I believe 8 of them) and very friendly personnel.
They also have classes for kids, we registered our daughters for 10 classes.

Staff, woman at reception in particular, is very rude. They will literally force you to get their rental shoes. Couple of my friends had bad experience here and told me not to waste my time. I still went there to see for myself. Please check other places out if you can and avoid this one!

Will tell you your shoes are 'good' to play here. Then will entice you to get the membership.once you take it. Pay up. Come the next time with the says shoes. 'no.not at all. Not allowed'. Like seriously.so we should pay the shoe rental too.nice scam. Totally agree with other reviews. Arrogant.and deceitful.happy if you keep paying rentals for everything. But crybabies if you bring your stuff. Was thinking of getting our friends. But meh. Good it happened to us alone and not infront of them. Owners can keep the rest of the monthly membership.never coming here again.

Courts are good, but the mat is on a hard surface could be better.

Suggestion to management: Courts need separation (roof needs some clothing separation), the blue windows make too much glare needs to be covered with black cloth

Very reasonable prices for court rental, equipment etc.
Coach Sid is an awesome person and great asset. My boys started loving the game after only a few sessions of training, thanks to Sid’s interesting coaching methods that keep them entertained while learning new skills. Thank you Battledore for giving us such a place for healthy entertainment.

Top of the line coaching staff. Can be crowded on some days. One of the better dedicated badminton facilities. Reasonably priced.

Very good place to learn and improve on badminton skills.
Started going here last month and I am having a very good experience.

Good Synthetic court. They have around 7-8 courts. Shoe and racquet rentals are available. Felt like the whole facility is lacking proper air conditioning.

I got my racket strung and it came with a teared string part and it ruined the tension and everything i do not suggest getting your rackets strung here

Very Excellant place. According to me everyone should go there for playing Badminton. It's not just a Badminton academy but more than that

Nice place. We went with 6 month old baby. It was so comfortable n person who was at desk was really helpful.

Its a good place and the lighting is better the staff are good and there are international players there BATTLEDORE IS AWESOME
