Bavarian Window Works

This is the third time we have had Bavarian Windows install windows for us. We are very happy with the delivery time, the service and the installation crew. We did have some minor hiccups upon installation of our replacement living room windows. When brought forth, Bavarian were not dismissive at all and worked diligently to get the items resolved. Thank you Dave!

From the moment we called Bavarian for a quote we received excellent service! Hardy helped us through the process of selecting the perfect windows for the front of our house. He went above and beyond to make our dreams come true. He met with us and their head installer to discuss some specific issues we had as well. Hardy was prompt with replies and very helpful with details. He helped us select a nice detail on the outside of our windows, with an extra step in the casement that adds some visual interest to the outside. We went with a custom colour as well and it matches our eaves and outside paint perfectly. The installation was quick and the finishing details on the inside are beautiful. We are so happy with our new windows and we love the product overall. We can't wait to crack open the windows for the first time in the spring!
We decided on 4 stars instead of 5 because we felt that communication dropped off quite a bit once we made our initial payment. We had to call and email a few times to get an installation date. And although the date didn't change after we received it, the final confirmation of the installation came just 1 day before.
Other than that we were incredibly impressed and will definitely use Bavarian again, should we need to replace any other windows.

We are so happy with our new front doors and sidelites. Hardy was fantastic to work with, professional, and made great recommendations. The installer took the time to ensure the fit and measurements were perfect. Everything looks wonderful and we've gotten so many compliments from our neighbours! Thank you, Bavarian, for making this process as smooth and seamless as possible.

I have not have the best experience with Bavarian Windows. My salesperson calculated the depth of my wall incorrectly, despite being a new build with drawings. It was fixable but inconvenient.

One of the windows came damaged, having been punctured by the shipping block stapled right through the vinyl.

And lastly the front door I ordered came without the obscure that we had ordered for it. All in all it was 3 minor issues. All of which caused modest delays (over a month and still waiting).

Overall I felt that the issues were things that can happen by accident, but I was not compensated for any of the hassle.

Bavarian provides a large selection of high quality products at price points that serve a good range of clients. I have used them for both installed products and product only supply, and have been very pleased on all fronts. When there is an issue (which doesn't happen often) they work to resolve it quickly. They are a high class operation front to back, and I'll be using them for all my projects that need windows and doors.

Great windows at a great price. Fast delivery. Hardy was particularly helpful revising the quote to match the look of the century old windows to be replaced. My first choice on future window replacement.

Our experience with Bavarian was amazing right from the start. Our Sales Representative Justin Goodsell was helpful and informative without being pushy. He ensured our quote was honored even after the prices started to soar. We had over half of our windows replaced this past spring by Branden and Nick and - if I may - I would refer to them as the dream team! They were courteous and friendly, meticulous and thorough. It's an absolutely beautiful MASTERGRAIN door, with a Phantom screen built in. Justin made it easy to narrow down all the details of exactly what we wanted to have and how the door would function for security.

We really appreciated his attention to detail and his super quick responses to any questions or concerns that we had.

It's very reassuring that we can go back to a company that we trust, and deal with the same team of people that ensure that we get the quality that we are looking for.

Keep getting promises on delivery dates, and they keep delaying. Honestly shocked about how slow and terrible the service is.

We have a 1920's era home in Waterloo. We had been postponing replacing original wood windows because we did not want to change the character of the home or disturb the interior wood trim.
Bavarian replaced all 16 windows matching original hardware and making them fit perfectly and seamlessly with minimum disruption.

Bavarian Window Works recently replaced 3 big sunroom casement windows with 3 beautiful picture windows. The install team showed first thing in the morning and worked through the whole day gently removing the old and expertly replaced with new!
The workmanship was exceptional and the attitude and politeness of Brandon and his assistant was extremely impressive!
These young men were respectful of both my partner and I as we work from home, as well as being respectful of the home by cleaning up as they went along.
My next window undertaking will be performed by Bavarian and I highly recommend anyone planning a window change or replacement should hire Bavarian Window Works!

Communication was poor and slow. Installation was delayed a few months. It was the most expensive one out of the ones we looked and we thought this company is good.

Thanks to the Bavarian Team from top to bottom. From the initial visit by Barry to the final install and payment every person I dealt with was professional, caring and considerate. We have had all our windows and our entry door replaced now and it was completed seemlessly. Our endearing gratitude to the Entire Bavarian Team!

Excellent support and response. They built and installed our windows, several years ago. When a glass plane was broken, they quickly and expertly replaced it, taking extra care not to damage our garden. Strongly recommend them.

I had 2 patio doors replaced and a large kitchen window. The crew were very polite and very diligent in their work. It all looks great! Have had work done previously by them and they always do a great job!

We used Bavarian Windows on an addition to our house. They did several windows and doors for us. All of the workmanship was great, and they were very communicative during the entire process. Bavarian windows has been a pleasure to deal with. Justin on the sales team was responsive and helpful through the endless questions and amendments that occurred during our selection process. It was nice to know I could reach out to him and receive a response within a day. I put him through the wringer with my questions down to the minute details, and he was more than happy to answer all of them.not something you experience often in the window shopping world.

The install team has been phenomenal. Jay, Shane, and Scott have been very professional, and a pleasure to work with these past 3 days. They have taken their time to confirm my selections, as well as to point out how some of the windows might be installed differently than the originals to improve energy efficiency. They have cleaned around each window thoroughly after each install, made sure they were careful throughout the house, and their workmanship is exceptional. They were also happy to listen to any special requests I had during the install, such as trying to save the trim around our door, and using alternative trim around the bathroom window so that it would fit within the backsplash.
Most importantly, they are a team of really nice guys and it has been refreshing to get to chat with them while they work.

I would also like to mention the install coordinator Drew, who went out of his way to retrieve a sign that we mistakenly left on our old storm door. He fished it out of the old window pile and sent it back to us on the following day when the final windows were to be installed. Again, the Bavarian team was responsive and accommodating when I reached out to them.

The last thing I want to mention is that even though our installation is not yet finished (one more day), we have already had several neighbours stop by to admire the windows, with one of them saying they are the nicest windows they have ever seen. Our windows are the Hometech modern style in matte black finish. I highly recommend them.

More importantly, I highly recommend Bavarian WIndows.

We own a 100 year old house in UpTown Waterloo. We have been slowly replacing windows over that last number of years, and we could not be more pleased with Bavarian. We never once felt any sales pressure, and we love that it is a locally owned and operated company with such high attention to detail and quality of service.

We live in a Condo townhouse, Unit 8 in Guelph; they replaced the huge front bay window and a large rear window. The installers were courteous and cleaned up after they finished. Beautiful quality and the installation looks perfect!

AND, then, without charge, they re-installed our complex system of California shutters, although this was not their responsibility.that went beyond our expectations.

Early in the process, the estimator guy was friendly, helpful and efficient.
