Absolutely love this animal hospital they are so kind and caring they take the time to explain everything and they make sure to answer any and all questions that you have. Dr. Emery is wonderful with our boys and they love her she along with the rest of the staff go above and beyond in my opinion

The reality is this isn’t the cheapest vet clinic in town.
That being said, Dr Tim Blatt is the kindest and most gentle vet we’ve ever encountered. He has gone out of his way for us on a number of occasions and we’re so grateful we have found him.
The reception staff is great as both Sue and Rhonda are very nice people to deal with and they’ve managed to squeeze us in on those rare times we’ve had emergencies.
Overall, we’re not likely to ever leave unless Dr Blatt does.:)

Best vets in the city by far. Regularily go above and beyond with the care of pets. I would highly recommend.

Tryed calling to bring my 2 four MTH old kittens in to be seen by vet, due to severe diarrhea & the one kitten had dry flaky crusty markings on her tummy & she's getting bald in tummy but they could not help in anyway, Luckly Martindale took me 7 days later but that's alot faster than 3 mths waiting list, & this was a few vets that were so booked noone could see them so I went through hell with constant diarrhea but they held on & are much better now, day 4 on meds now & starting to play around

Best Vet in town! Tim is so caring for animals. New puppies first visit was a great experience as always.

Baxter Animal Hospital and all the staff there have been amazing! I know it’s currently hard to find a vet taking new clients, but if you can get in here, I highly recommend trying. We have been a client since moving to Sudbury 4 years ago. They have a great online booking system, they send reminders for appointments, they have answered many questions from me via email or phone and do not always insist I come in for an appointment if they’re able to help me with a simple question via email or phone. Dr. Tim is so friendly and non-judgemental. We’ve been met with both humour and extreme compassion from all staff, depending on what our visit calls for. One time I even had a receptionist offer to stay in the clinic a bit late to accommodate a sudden shift in my work schedule so I could could up my pup later than planned after a surgical procedure. Very caring and friendly staff, from the front desk, to the techs to the vets.

Love this veterinary clinic! Dr. Baxter herself has retired from this location (although she has come out of retirement in her current location) and her presence is missed terribly. However, the existing staff are wonderful! They are extremely capable, professional, and most of all, loving and compassionate with the animals who come through their doors. I had a beloved cat who needed to be euthanized a few years ago, and they were exceptional. Despite my profound grief, they arranged their scheduling so that the clinic was responsive and supportive. I will never forget their compassion.

I have been with Baxter Animal Hospital since I became Tosh’s guardian, so for two years. They are consistently helpful and knowledgeable; the staff is courteous and so, pleasant. Dr. Blatt takes his time with his clients and answers questions honestly. I would strongly recommend this animal hospital for your pet needs.

We had some medical concerns with my 8 week old puppy. From the moment I called Baxter on the phone, I felt like I was being taken care of. They gave excellent and clear instructions over the phone on what to do with my dog until we could get her in to the Vet to see the Dr. The Vet techs were very concise and thorough leaving me with no unanswered questions and a sense of relief for my pup! From the ladies at the front, to the Vet Techs, all the way to the Dr's- everyone was very supportive and empathetic. Would recommend them to everyone!

Today was our first day at the clinic, I have to say that our experience was wonderful.
I have a little 5-year-old Chihuahua and always makes me nervous every time we go to the vet even if it is a routine day or vaccinations, but this time it was different, starting with the receptionist a very kind woman, then the assistant assisted us very kind and affectionate with my dog. Then we were treated by Dr. Wanda Guzman, a wonderful woman. She completely examined my dog and she was very affectionate, kind and very professional, she explained the entire appointment process in detail and she examined my dog and gave her the vaccines very kindly. It was the first time that I didn't feel like my little girl was just a number. It is wonderful to find a place where your dog is well treated and where you can trust the health of your pet.
