Actually a pretty good experience, despite advance concerns on my end.

Admittedly I was on edge when I came to have a look at a vehicle I was interested in here. Just a new way of transacting, as all my previous auto buying had been through manufacturer dealerships.

I'm well aware that you pay a bit more at those for an appearance of honesty and legitimacy, and it's no secret that non-manufacturer used car dealerships of course have a shadier reputation.

You probably have more recourse with manufacturers if things go sour, but on the other hand a dealer logo does not necessarily mean people are going to be reasonable, fair and honest - and I didn't want to exclude every other model because of the opposite bias, which again is not necessarily valid.

This was a low mileage, reasonably priced premium model with a clean CarFax report, and there simply were no other reasonable alternatives for the same thing. So why not see how it goes, with both eyes open.

The setup was different. Cars are all in a showroom packed tight together, take as much time as you like checking things out without a salesperson talking in your ear. Start the vehicle up if you like.

I didn't have the opportunity for a test drive made available unless there was going to be a commitment in principle to buy, deposit down etc. So that required a bit of thinking about whether I was comfortable purchasing based on reviews etc; there wasn't really another option for test driving around readily available.

I had a lot of questions and concerns; Peter was very patient working through them with me. He remained calm and responsive.

In the end the most important thing for me was to have the vehicle checked out at my cost by a third party before committing, and Peter was completely open to doing that via a manufacturer dealership. This involved investing a bit in something that I didn't own as yet, but was super valuable for my peace of mind in moving ahead.

On that checkout a few small things that were identified that needed discussing, and again Peter was reasonable in negotiating through that, and flexible on timing and location arrangements for transfer of ownership.

I ended up purchasing what I think is a terrific low mileage vehicle with no issues of any real significance remaining uncorrected, for a very reasonable price, in a straightforward transaction, from a nice guy who I would deal with again.

I think I probably made the transaction a bit more difficult than the average customer due to my concerns going in, and to their credit this business worked constructively with me throughout, without any significant frustration.

I can comfortably recommend Bay Auto Zone to others, and would have no hesitation considering a future vehicle listed here, or choosing to deal with Peter again!

This place is by far the most amazing place I have ever been to. We have bought for our family over 7 cars and counting in the past 4 years and still have the cars. Service from Danny is impeccable he will do what ever he can to ensure your happy with your purchase. I can’t thank Danny enough for taking care of our entire family with every purchase. He runs for everything and anything you need about the car.

They even have a shop that they take care of your repairs to maintain the car, call Danny he’s got you. They also offer secondary insurance to let your head be relaxed!

We bought a car from Peter recently and let me be honest, it was the most amazing and easiest car trade we have ever had. The car was completely checked, serviced, and cleaned. He even went above and beyond and got the tires changed for us before we picked up the car. The cars this dealership has are well selected. Peter is a professional and very knowledgeable about his cars and if you are serious about buying a car you can't find a better person than him.

Nor do I understand the high ratings. As an auto enthusiast, I've dealt with many sellers, private and licensed dealers. This dealership has no regard for the contracts they sign. I negotiated specific conditions for remediation of my purchased vehicle (rim refinishing, detailing, etc.) which they did not do and refused to do. Peter Zally was nothing but confrontational, aggressive, and completely unwilling to acknowledge the contract conditions he had signed. An OMVIC complaint followed. Too bad for Bay Auto Zone as I have purchased many cars since and will disqualify any candidate for purchase which I see at this dealership. No contract will protect you from someone determined to breach it once they have your money; all you're left with is a remedy that takes more time and money to pursue than it may be worth. Zero stars for Peter Zally.

Scam artists, sold me a car for $22,000 that has been giving me nothing but problems and they could care less. I took it to the manufacturers dealership and they told me they have no idea how it passed safety as the brakes need redone and are extremely unsafe and the oil pan was leaking like a tap. Do yourself a favour and stay away from them. Worst experience I have had

These guys. They make all dealers look horrible. These guys cut corners, deliberately skip safety checks and over price vehicles with promises of certain repair or for example new tires. Everyone in the industry knows how greasy these guys are. My cousin crashed his car he got from here because they kept using the word “mint” when the tire tread was below the legal limit. These guys deserve to be in jail.

Found the car I was looking for on Car Gurus. Made the 3 hour trek to North York to see the car. It was better than the pictures. Spotless, mint condition. We arrived at 1: 30pm and I was driving away in my Audi at 5: 30pm, to save me another trip back at a later date. Danny was great to deal with. No pressure and arranged financing almost instantly. Would definitely recommend Danny and the dealership for excellent customer service and a great selection of luxury vehicles. I’ll be back in a few years for a Q8.

Don’t be manipulated. Bought a car here, 2 weeks later noticed many problems (engine lights were on). Talked the same salesman that sold me the car and he didn’t even recognize me. But that’s not what the problem was. He told me he would take care of the problems and a week later I’m bringing the car I bought to a mechanic that works under Bay Auto Zone. The mechanic did not fix my problem at all, he reset the engine lights and after a while they came back on. I brought the car to a different mechanic and they were the ones that told me they did nothing to fix the car. I talk to the same salesman and he tells me that after 30 days the car isn’t covered under warranty (at this time it was past 30 days). So basically, they sold me a broken car and didn’t do anything to fix the problems it previously had. This goes to show that if something seems to good to be true, it’s not. Just like this used dealership who’s employees don’t really care about you once you signed the contract.

Not knowledgeable about the products they're selling tells me you can hang up if you want what a loser

they add $3,499 2 year extended warranty to the price without asking / telling you.worst of all, there is no certificate provided regarding this warranty, you don't know who the insurer is.they did not show you the "sales contract"; they just show you the Finance paper, coz you MUST sign it so the bank will pay them.after all they still don't give you the contract, until you go back & ask for it, and they pretend they forgot, they thought they did give you the contract.

Bought my car from here, inspected it inside the showroom and could not figure out the small scratches as they were detailed and hidden util I got it washed. I was promised one free oil change but they refused to do it when I arrived. Not a great service or customer satisfaction. I do not recommend to buy from here.

We just purchased a 2016 VW beetle and Danny was our sales person we dealt with. He was very accommodating and professional with no pressure tactics. We were given the opportunity to take the vehicle to a VW certified dealer for a 52 point inspection. The results were fine except for some small repairs that needed attention. We brought this to Danny’s attention and he promised to get the issues resolved. We will be picking up the car this Tuesday. One item folks should know is car fax reports are legal mandatory requirements and you should always be aware of what you are buying. We were informed that this vehicle was in 3 accidents front end collisions but nothing structural nor mechanical. The car drove well other than an alignment adjustment that Danny said will fixed and corrected. For the price and the shape of the vehicle I am confident that this car will be sound. My trust and faith is in Danny who made us feel assured and comfortable with the vehicle as well as Danny going above and beyond in making this purchase for my daughter to be a great experience!

Best dealership I’ve dealt with. Danny really helped out with process of my Porsche Macan S that my wife and I gave more of our business and did a trade in for an Audi A3. My 4 star rating could easily have been a 1 star based on my first couple of days of driving. I bought a 2015 Mini S. It broke down the first time I drove to work. It is difficult to know if their mechanic would have been able to spot the problem before it happened. Regardless, I contacted my salesman Danny and he covered the cost of the repair. Very classy! Unfortunately there was some hiccups with my insurance payout from my old vehicle and I had to cancel everything but Danny was very nice and refunded my deposit no problem. I had a terrible experience dealing with Bay auto zone and the sales associate along with the owner. The cars all look so attractive like they've been sitting in a rich persons garage, not being driven. Truth is these vehicles come from Quebec and they are spit polished in a garage that they have across the street to make you believe it's almost new. Payam sold me a lemon. Take my advice on this car shop. If you can afford a high end vehicle you can go directly to their dealership and buy it. But please stay away from this place

Do not buy a vehicle from Bay Auto Zone unless you want to spend thousands fixing hidden damage.

When we picked up the car and drove it to be checked by a certified BMW dealership, the back tire had a massive bulge and we were told we were lucky it hadn’t burst while we were driving. Bay Auto Zone’s Peter pretended they had no idea and implied we had done something.we had the car for less than 3 hours at that point.

Fast forward five months and in a huge rain storm, the car shuts down while we are driving. We have a flatbed tow the car to the closest BMW dealer. The entire rear of the vehicle was in a massive accident and wasn’t repaired properly. The damage was filled with body filler instead of replacing the damaged parts. All seals around the lights and gas cap were reused and damaged which caused leaks into the trunk eroding the entire electrical system.

We pushed for them to pay for repairs and they volunteered to replace the electrical components. That is when we got to see where Bay Auto Zone repairs damaged auction vehicles for resale. They made us pay $4000 for the repair.

The car is a POS and we will never recoup the money lost. Do not buy a vehicle from Bay Auto Zone unless you have a bunch of money to spend either repairing the garbage they sell, or money to sue them.

I purchased a used car from Bay Auto Zone last week, My experience with mike is wonderful, he's very knowledgeable and the best part is honesty. I traded in my Mercedes Benz s550, the transaction was smooth, after a couple of days a check engine light came on. I called mike and he took care of it, (was a little sensor). Overall my experience is very pleasant with Bay auto Zone and specially Mike.

We came on Sunday, at 4: 35PM, it says it is open until 5: 00 PM, even in front of the door, but the door was locked. We were seriously here to close an agreement to buy a car, but this was so disrespectful and disappointing.will NEVER come here and will NOT RECOMMEND to anyone.

UPDATE after "owner`s" response - Vehicle was bought on end of March 2019.
After sales service is not existent! They are really sweet and nice when you are considering the purchase of the car and tell you that you can bring your car to your mechanic and if he finds something they are going to fix it. So, we did just that and our mechanic found that the wheel liner is broken, which is a safety concern! However, the good news is that since the car we bought is Toyota the part will maximum cost $100 and 10-15 minutes to install it. We went back to Bay Auto and let them know about the liner and guess what they said.of course, they said that they can't fix it (we didn't provide the reason as well). Well, it is not a problem, we gonna fix it ourselves, but now we would like to know that this dealership's reputation is worth $100. And it is not the end of the story. The car needed some touching up done. Our saa salesmansaid that they will do it by the day of picking up the vehicle. Nothing was done, but he said that we should come in couple days. After almost a week of a wait to order the proper white Perl paint, how surprised we were when we saw that they just put regular white paint without even cleaning the dust, which made the car look worse than it was before touch up was done.
We had a dent on the roof. Thanks God they fixed it. BUT, after the fixing we found out that our back seats are completely dirty. Mechanics just stepped with dirty boots right on the seat. I am happy that I don't have white leather interior!

I am wondering if they provide the same level of service to people, who purchase Mercedes, Lambo's and Ferrari's.

Thus, I would not recommend this dealership.
