I first saw Dr. Fox a couple years ago when I had some tooth pain, and no-one could quite figure out what it was. Dr. Fox did some different tests then other people, with tiny cold cotton balls. That really revealed the source of the problem.

I have now had two root canals completed by Dr. Fox. He is really good. He does a good job of explaining the science of what is going on, and also is very considerate as he goes through the procedure. Good combination of procedural skill, explanatory abilities, and inter-personal skills.

I am a "Cancer of the Brain Base" survivor who has experienced several radiation damage challenges over the last few years. The most recent one has led to my need for a complicated root canal. My Guelph dentist identified the issue but informed me that they were to capable of handling it. Princess Margaret Hospital took a look and recommended Dr. Fox. I found him to be calm, gentle, caring and polite. He took a non traditional way of dealing with my radiation damaged inflammation and all is good. I am now nearly 12 hours past the start of my 2 hour procedure and I have not needed even a pain killer.

I should also ask that Office Manager Lisa and Dr. Fox's two surgery assistants were professional and helpful. This is a Best In Class Team!

Thank you very much Dr. Fox

Dr Aaron Fox is very professional. He did the root canal treatment for my father and checked a few details before the procedure. He is patient and has great customer service. We are happy that work with Dr Aaron Fox.

Knowledgeable and kind staff and endodontist Dr. Fox. Would highly recommend coming here if you need a root canal. They were excellent at managing my pain and being sensitive to all my concerns.

I had a horrible experience today with this clinic. I experienced severe tooth pain a few days before, so I went to the dental emergency clinic, where they referred me to Dr. Fox.

The doctor at the emergency clinic prescribed antibiotics and a painkiller. However, no one informed me before my appointment that I should not take the prescribed medication on the day of the appointment. This information was not relayed during phone conversations or in the email they sent me before the appointment.

Today, when I was in the dentist's chair, Dr. Fox seemed very angry because I had taken the prescribed medication before the appointment. He acted as if I was wasting his time, even though I arrived on time for my appointment. I was also charged for the visit, even though he didn't provide any treatment or consultation; he simply applied something cold to my tooth and asked me to return another day. I felt extremely uncomfortable sitting in that chair, as if it were my fault that I was experiencing tooth pain.

So, I have a couple of questions. First, why was I not informed before the appointment that I should avoid taking medication? I don't have a medical background, so things that may be obvious to those in the medical field are not necessarily clear to me.

Secondly, why was I charged $200 for a visit when it was apparently 'obvious' that they couldn't treat me that day due to the medication I had taken? It feels like they just wanted to take my money and didn't care about my health at all. This kind of customer service makes you feel guilty for seeking help when you're in pain.

I would give this clinic a negative rating if I could, perhaps even -10 stars.

This is a great team. Lisa is an angel. Efficient and empathetic. A great combo. Dr. Fox is so thorough, so compassionate and listens hard. He is meeting you at your worst and is there to truely support you in feeling better. No quick diagnosis, he wants to do the right thing! Amazing experience
