Really great service from start to finish. Kind, experienced staff who go the extra mile to ensure your pet is well cared for.

After spending months researching a cat clinic - preferably downtown in our neighbourhood - yesterday we visited the one we chose, the Bay Cat Hospital. From the first phone call from Liz, throughout the appointment meeting Halle, Janina and finally dr Zitkovitz, it seems that we made the right choice. Khloe, our Bengal Queen was given plenty of time to discover the exam room and to get relaxed by the time dr Zitkovitz started her thorough examination, never pushing her and acknowledging that she may lack a bit of confidence. If I’m not mistaken, the clinic is currently going through the Fear Free certification process which would just confirm what we had experienced.

The Exemplary and professional staff provided compassionate and understanding end of life care for our dear little cat, and in the previous 6 months leading up to that day, provided so much care and concern for our pet, emailing to check in and providing additional recommendations on living with a senior cat with dementia and failing health.
Everyone was patient and understanding through the time we spent at the clinic on the last day, and though our grief is still raw, we are forever grateful to the staff of Bay Cat Hospital for helping us through one of the most difficult days of our lives.

Bay Cat Hospital is the best veterinary clinic I’ve ever experienced. Not only do the doctors and staff specialize in cat care, they genuinely care about the cats and their owners. They are extremely thorough, do not rush you and your cats through appointments, listen to and answer all of your questions, and always make an effort to follow up after special procedures or changes to diet or medication. As well, this clinic has always made an effort to squeeze my pet (s) in to be seen on the same day during medical emergencies. Procedures and exams are slightly pricier here than I have experienced at other clinics, but I’d argue it’s worth it for the specialized care and customer service alone.

Brought my feisty feline to have his vaccines and lions cut, and per usual Sam was amazing with him.

We booked last minute with Bay Cat Hospital as our regular vet was unable to accommodate us. We received amazing care for our cat, who unfortunately was nearing the end of her life. We would like the thank the vet and vet tech who helped us, and demonstrated the highest degree of professionalism and empathy. Thank you!

Taking my cat to see the vet can be a really stressful experience for both me and my cat. The staff here have made the experience as smooth and as pleasant as it possibly can. I was reassured by the level of empathy displayed by the vet and vet's assistant.

I was referred by a very good friend of mine as I have to change vet. I’m very pleased with the service from everyone. From Eric, Janina and Sam. Dr Kit Chow and most recently, Dr. Zikovitz. Dr Zikovitz never fails to follow up. If she says, she is going to call, she will call even if there is no update. I can tell that they really care for our fur family and understand our emotions. Highly recommend this clinic.

My Male Dominican Cat, that I rescued and brought back to Toronto, had his Dental Surgery here. 6 teeth extracted, assisted by an excellent crew of Technicians, Animal support staff, and a fabulous ‘old school’ type veterinarian, meaning extremely proficient at his craft. I highly recommend Bay Cat Hospital. The other Vets here are also good and knowledgeable. I’m happy to have a clinic I trust, I can count on, and moving forward with my very special Cat. Jeff F.

I’ve been taking my cat to Bay Cat Hospital for 13 years, and all of the staff from reception to vets have been incredibly caring and responsive. Currently, my cat is under the care of Dr Chow and he has methodically brought her back from the brink. She is now enjoying a good quality of life and I’m very grateful to all the staff!

I've been taking my cats here for almost 18 years and have had terrific service. The hospital was recently sold so there have been a lot of changes since Dr. Gaby owned it but service remains top notch. Sam, our favourite vet tech, has been there for years and she knows how to handle my feisty boy. Saw the new vet, Dr. Andrea, this time and she was terrific with him. Highly recommend.especially if you are in the downtown area. And there's parking!

They made the entire visit easy and smooth. Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable and they went above and beyond. Even made a follow up call the next day to check on our puppy.

The staff there are wonderful. I have been a client of theirs for many years. They are very professional and their expertise is amazing. I have experienced losing one pet and they were so very kind and empathetic. I so appreciated that. They not only take such wonderful care of the animals, but they make certain the owners are respected and that you understand the details of care needed for each pet.

I have a senior 16-year old Shih-poo named Alfa and as of late he has been having several issues including kennel cough, blindness, hearing loss and most recently signs of doggy dementia. It is worrisome for me but what keeps me calm is knowing that all the staff at Bay Cat Dog Hospital are taking good care of Alfa. Dr. Mayra, Sam, Eric and especially Janina are incredibly kind and make me and Alfa feel comfortable and at ease when we need to visit. I want to thank all the staff for being so good to us! I have been bringing my fur babies to this place for many years and I am always satisfied with the care they receive. The staff is extremely friendly and always make sure that everything possible is done to keep my pet safe and healthy. I would not ever consider going any where else

The BCD Hospital was the first vet we visited 16 years ago. At the time we had our pugs, Winnie and Sophie. Each time we went, our girls were treated with kindness by the staff and the veterinarians. The environment has separate areas for cats and dogs which allow for a calm, tranquil and friendly setting.

Now, we are taking our two newest family members - Godfrey and Baby La Tigra. The BCD Hospital continues to provide a five star service, where we continue to see the mannerism of the BCD Hospital staff and veterinarians as patient, knowledgeable, friendly and professional.
