Bayridge Animal Hospital

We landed haphazardly at this office when we moved to Kingston, simply because it was close to our home. Jackpot! We have valued their excellent vets and support staff for almost 8 years now, through good times and bad and have always felt incredibly well cared for.our dog and cat have too!

Care is fantastic, but seems to have an average upcharge of $100 above Cost of the drugs compared to getting them at pharmacists or online pet drug supplier.but after the $150 visit fee it's $40 Additional to have the vet write the prescription if you don't buy the drugs there. But it is still worth that cost. I am not opposed to a surcharge to buy from them but i feel $100 is to much.

Today was “Mocha’s “ first experience at Bayridge Animal Hospital. I can only say this was her best experience ever at a vets!
They saw her anxiety gave her some time to adjust and she received the best exam she has had in years, bloodwork too!

Very friendly and professional Vet's Office! They provide excellent care, and it is clear how much they love animals. I take both my cats here and have been very impressed every visit!

Last week we had a terrible accident with our 9-week-old kitten at home. I had never been to Bayridge Animal Hospital before, but it’s the closest veterinary clinic to our home, so I rushed her there as fast as I could. The assistants on staff took her from me immediately and put her on oxygen. Dr. Kaufmann, who was not in the office at the time, was called in by the staff and arrived very quickly. Unfortunately because of her small size, the injury was too severe, and she passed away. Dr. Kaufmann and his assistants were quick to action, and incredibly kind and compassionate, talking things through with us and allowing
me to work through some big feelings in the office. This was devastating for us, and I was completely distraught. Dr. Kaufmann softy suggested that I leave my car at the clinic (my boyfriend came to meet me), and allowed us the opportunity to come back at a later date to take care of the bill. Yesterday, we received a sympathy card in the mail signed individually by Dr. Kaufmann and the entire staff. Thank you so much to Bayridge Animal Hospital for their help, compassion, and professionalism on the worst of days <3

We've had a great experience with BAH so far. Our vet, the vet techs, and the front staff have all been friendly and accommodating in helping us navigate life with a new pup! Another vet also reached out when our little guy had to take an unexpected trip to the vet hospital. He took time to kindly walk through test results and make sure we understood what they knew! Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Kaufmann and the BAH staff provide exceptional care for our dog. No issues with setting up appointments, getting medications, or dealing with oversell of products/services. We will definitely continue to see them for many years to come!

Have been going to Bayridge animal hospital for 25 years with my pets, recently had to put my 10 year old poodle cosmo down because of cancer. Dr kaufmann and all staff were compassionate and caring. Thanks to all. Jan & pete

I have taken my cat and dog to Bayridge Animal Hospital since moving to Kingston last year.

When I took my cat Moon in for an ear issue, Dr. Funnell noticed that her teeth didn't look great and let me know she likely needed some extractions. Dr. Funnel could tell I was overwhelmed and was extremely kind and compassionate towards me and Moon when explaining the extraction process. She answered all my questions and made me feel completely comfortable with process, and helped me understand how Moon's health was impacted by her dental problems.

Everyone was extremely helpful and kind to me the day of the surgery and Moon did very well when she came home. She had an amazing recovery and healed very well from having 14 teeth extracted. The staff checked in with me multiple times afterwards and was patient with each of my questions. Dr. Funnell wrote very thorough instructions for me that went over several options for Moon's diet during recovery and details on her medications. Dr. Funnell also had a follow up appointment with Moon a week later to make sure she was healing well and provided me with more information to make sure Moon had a speedy road to recovery.

I can't express enough how grateful I am to Dr. Funnel and to Bayridge Animal Hospital for their amazing treatment of Moon (and me!). Every day I am so happy to see Moon living her best life now that she is pain free.

This clinic has provided wonderful care for my aging rescue dog. Unfortunately once she is gone, I can't see ever having another pet. The care and maintenance of pets has become unaffordable.
I highly recommend this clinic for their caring and compassion for your four legged family member

I recently started bringing my cat to Bayridge Animal Hospital after moving west side, and the experience has been amazing. The staff are very caring, the building is located in a great spot just off Taylor-Kidd and I would recommend to anyone in the area! Pic of my happy cat to prove.

I have been a client at Bayridge Animal Hospital for 26 years. During this time, I have had a number of my pets, receive excellent care. The staff are wonderful, compassionate & knowledgeable. I can't thank them enough, for the excellent care that my animals have received and continue to do so. I will always take my pets there for any treatment they may require.
