Extremely bad service! Do not recommend!
My family came here to have dinner, it started well till we found out DEAD FLIES in my dad's wonton soup. We let the staff knew right away and they just came to bring the wonton soup back to the kitchen - without any apologises! Then the staff came back and asked if we would like to get THE NEW ONE or not, we said yes! After 10 minutes, they brought the wonton soup with only 3 wontons - The New One had 5 or 6 wontons in total!
When I came to pay, they still charged for that FLIES WONTON SOUP, and when I asked why the NEW SOUP only came with 3 wontons, they gave us 10% off without replying my questions. I continued to ask them and they said they would give me the other 2 wontons left without a SINGLE APOLOGISE!
Hello? What kind of service is that? All that attitudes to the customer?
There was a flies in my wonton soup and that was what you give me?
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Typical Chinese restaurant. Adequate space for large and small groups. Prices are average. Opens till late in the evening.

I haven’t been back to this place in so long and I should have came back sooner it was that good. Literally all the dishes that we had that I shared with were all fresh, tasty, hot and nothing tasted bad. The veggies and meat and noodles were all so fresh and crisp and cooked perfectly. Honestly it was the best Chinese food I have had in a while. My only complaint is that the food came out individually and wish it came out all together as we had to eat each dish one by one. But other then that highly recommend and will definitely go back

Third time and final time here in 10 years… doesn’t even smell good. Lemon sauce is runny, sweet n sour sauce tastes like bbq sauce and chicken was dried I’m out and microwaved. Definitely would not recommend this at all. Rice was ok but very bland. Overall very disappointing Chicken balls were the only good thing.

Does not practice first in first out for take out. No technique Priotize friends and acquiantances. They said wait time is 20 but i got my order 55 mins later and those who ordered after me got theirs first. How much time do you need for fried rice and congee? Seriously

I have been going there for over 15 years, and is going down hill after the original owner sold 4 years ago, and now after covid, its just bad! Called for pick up, upon arrival, i noticed that half the restaurant was dark (not lite) at 6: 30 pm! Ok if that doesn't tell you anything and there was 1 table there and it was thursday night! Ok, thought it was a slow night, paid for the food, $72 for 3 dishes, nothing fancy, string beans, duck, and braised pork belly.none of the 3 dishes were what they used to be, the Duck, which is their signature dish was cold and dry, like it had been in the fridge for a week! Was dry and tasteless.string beans, again, dry and over cooked, no flavour.pork belly, was going to say mainly fat, but pork belly! For $72 worth of food, truly disappointing, sadly, this will be the end of my patronage.

Truly authentic Teo Chew cuisine. 3 thumbs up! Best in the whole North America！

The restaurant offers other popular Cantonese dishes as well. Despite of that real Teo Chew Noun could tell them apart. Diners who seek true Teo Chew should ask waiters for advice.

We had dinner and lunch at this restaurant. For the lunch we had, perhaps we came on a hot day and it was just open, the temperature was hot inside. I preferred the dinner to lunch since we ordered dim sum. The dim sum was ok but not the best.

I've come to this location since they opened way back in the days and have never been disappointed with their food quality and selection. I've gotten to know some of the waitresses as well as the owner over the time and they are all very professional. You can't go wrong with some of the more popular choices on their menu as well as well-known favorites that you may enjoy. They have a very good dim sum menu as well which is good when you're craving it other times then breakfast and brunch. This restaurant is open pretty late so it's always atop three Choice when craving a Chinese cuisine in the area.

This place is a bit of an institution really.
Hope they keep going/keep up the food that I’ve come to expect from them for many many more years.
