I've been coming here since pandemic and am so glad I could finally meet both Dr. Tsang and Dr. Burnett face to face! Such wonderful caring and professional people.
To be honest I came to them after my experiences at a vet clinic with the same name as the luxury shopping center nearby (I think many of you know who I'm talking about), I just hope people wont confuse Bayview MALL vet with that clinic because they have the same first word in their names

The clinic has always treated our cats well, from when they were several months old to now (12+ years). Non judgemental and exceptionally sweet to our smelly boys:)

Here frequently for my senior dog and I really appreciate how kind and accommodating reception is (thank you Brittany!) and how thorough our vet and vet techs are during our many, many visits. I highly recommend coming here!

The doctors here are very attentive and helpful. They've been taking care of my cats for years.

They prescribed and charged medication for my girlfriend's cat that wasn't needed. She was told it was a "higher dose" and didn't think to question it at the time, but it turned out to be more of the exact same medication. She has more than enough remaining from the first batch she was given. See photos for evidence.
The clinic has a strict no-refunds policy on meds, which I understand for normal circumstances, but she trusted the clinic's word and thought she was being prescribed something different. Their stance is that she provided consent and therefore they weren't obligated to provide a refund. From our perspectives, she's on the hook for taking the clinic's word at face value; they're supposed to be the professionals, after all.
Apparently they're fine with losing a prospective client and a client of 5+ years over $57 (less since their cost is lower). Even accounting for my personal bias in this situation, it's objectively poor business sense to give up thousands in future revenue (two senior-aged cats) over less than $57. That might be more disappointing than this lousy customer experience, to be honest.
I also want to echo the sentiments from another reviewer who mentioned the clinic's inability to deal with non-compliant cats; Felix was rescheduled twice for the same reason. I feel it's a reasonable expectation for a clinic to be able to handle a defensive animal and can't help but see the drug prescriptions as a way to make their jobs easier while simultaneously making a profit. Win-win for them, right?
