Bayview Parkway Cold & Flu Clinic Dr. Ian Bell

When is it possible to talk on the phone? They left the phone number in the title, but I haven't made any phone call for 5days in a row. They must cut the line off.

Dr Ian and his teams are the best. Both of my sons went to see a few times through out the year. His receptionist is absolutely helpful police and very friendly. Am willing to travel from far away just to get their services. All of them are amazing.

I had a great experience in this walk in clinic. The receptionist was very nice and empathetic. And the doctor you can tell he really loves his job. Thank you for caring about others peoples health.

This is not a walkin clinic. You need an appointment and you need to keep calling non stop to get through. I found this out after showing up with a sick toddler after calling in and not getting through and reading on the website no appt necessary.

First impression - two thumbs up. Professional, prompt and responsible. Thank you Dr. Bell.

I honestly don't know what the surrounding area would do without Dr. Bell! He works literally 24/7 and we are so grateful for that! He is very patient, kind and thorough! They are a very busy clinic with one receptionist so you NEED to be patient to get through with the phone. They will answer eventually!

This not a walk in clinic like they claim. They have no website so cannot confirm anything, tried calling them but no one answers phones. Decided to go in person and was told they couldn't see me for another 6 hours.on top of that I parked for maybe 2 minutes, wasn't seen and still had to pay $3.00 for parking. You'd be better off finding an actual walk in clinic.

The lady on the phone was polite and patient with me as I was booking the appointment, the phones were ringing non stop but every call she answered with the same pleasant demeanour.

With regards to Dr Bell himself it is not hard to tell that Dr Bell truly cares about what he does, it appeared to be natural the way he was able to calmly speak to and comfort my 3 year old which also eased my worries as a new parent. The aura of compassion during the whole visit just radiated from this wonderful person.

Not only that he called me personally to inform me of lab results for my child, on a Saturday, after business hours. We need more doctors like Doctor Bell, he is truly the image and likeness of compassionate medicine.

While they accept walk ins, you should call them first if they answer the phone! So, in my case, the phone did not go through and when I walked in the morning, they sent me back and offered an appointment in the afternoon which I could not make.

You are an angel walking amongst us. Your kind, patient nature and thoroughness sets you aside from the millions of other Dr's. Your willingness to enforce your right to exercise the oath Dr's take while the rest of the health care system seemed to take a back seat will be forever remembered. Thank you for listening, caring and loving all of your patients. Thank you to the amazing administrative staff that makes all of this possible.

They didn’t answer the phone, so I decided to drive to this clinic since as per their Google account it was their open time!

Their door was locked and as many times i knocked no one opened, all of sudden it seems she opens the door (I assume she was receptionist wanted to go out) I asked if they are a walking clinic, with hesitation she said “well yes, but we are busy! ”

I told her that they could answer the calls at least! She replied: We are too busy.

So you better have a recording answering machine that: We are not operating! Because we are too busy.

It’s not the best way of operating a walking clinic. The doctor can be excellent but this kind of mismanagement of a walking clinic is not fair to patients.

There are no words to describe the incredible service Dr. Ian offers. I believe he is one of a kind. Thank you for all you do!

I would give Dr. Bell and his office 10 stars if I could.

Dr. Bell is always very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough, despite being super busy and working 7 days a week.
You can tell that he truly cares and loves what he does.

His receptionist is always friendly and accommodating as well.
They deserve recognition for all that they do to help our community.

Best doctor and doctors assistance in the whole of Ontario. Dr. Ian and Bonnie are both God sent. The care and respect they provide to all their patience are excellent. God bless them both!

I have seen Dr. Bell several times over the years and prefer him over any other Dr including every family Dr. I’ve ever had. He is always thorough and patient and asks the right questions before making treatment decisions. He gives all the options and opportunity for questions. I have taken all of my 3 children to Dr. Bell at some point and he’s so great with them. I wish I had a family Dr.like him. If only new Dr’s could apprentice with him. He would make an amazing teacher and other Dr’s should learn from him because he has the knowledge, patience, and kindness needed to do an amazing job. You get a feeling that he genuinely cares about all his patients and their well being. Also, his secretary is great too!

Dr Ian Bell should be the mayor of Newmarket. Absolutely amazing person and phenomenal doctor. He probably sees 100 patients a day and never turns anyone away. Also I dont know how at his age he can still work 7 days a week. If you are reading this Dr. Bell, I cant thank you enough for all that you have done for this town’s kids health!

Dr. Bell is wonderful, gentle, caring and wise. We are so thankful that when all the GP's turned away patients with runny noses and coughs, Dr. Bell stayed open. Now we see his clinic renamed to a Cold and Flu clinic. He truly is a gem of a doctor, have taken my infant and toddler to see him over the past few years, helped give me piece of mind and properly sent us to the hospital for x-rays when needed. He was wonderful with my elderly mother as well.
Diagnoses for littles and elders are needed in person, simply put, a doctor need to see and hear thier breathing and heart rate. We cannot thank Dr. Bell enough for remaining open during these troubled times. And on top of that, the staff are amazing! Always friendly, warm and efficient.

Dr. Bell is simply the best. He is knowledgeable, thorough, caring and great with little kids. We have always been able to get an appointment within a few hours of calling. Always a pleasant experience.

It’s a great office. Dr bell and his receptionist are very nice and friendly, always answer the phone. Yesterday I called them and they respond to me very quickly, although their office was getting close, they waited for me to see me. Dr Bell was very professional. Very glad to find this clinic.

Dr Bell is amazing. I had been sick for 4 days and was not getting better. I was dreading going to a walk in clinic.well.because we all know how they normally are. You wait for hours only to feel rushed by the time you see someone. Not at this clinic! It is so well organized. We called in the morning, they answered right away, were told they will put our name on the waiting list and to be ready to leave the house in about 45 min. Like clock work, we got the call to come over. We got there, they let us in, Dr Bell saw us right away. He was so kind, so polite, did not feel rushed and listened to my symptoms. This is what our healthcare in Canada should look like, we need DR's like him, ones who actually care. My husband and I were so impressed by Dr Bell and his practice.

I took my son at this location. Very polite and knowledgeable doctor. And staff are nice and polite as well.

Dr Bell and his team are the best. I cannot thank them enough for their help and kindness. He is so knowledgeable and listens to you patiently.

This was my 2nd time taking my son to see Dr Bell and both times were fantastic. They don't make "appts", per se but you call and they give you a time slot to arrive. The receptionist was so friendly and sweet to our son, and Dr Bell was amazing with him. Sat to his level, talked to him, let him play with the stethoscope. So glad there's a doctor that still loves his profession.

We have been going to Dr. Bell for about 4 years now. Both my husband and I, as well as our 3 children. He is the best doctor I have ever met. He is so knowledgeable and thorough. You can tell he actually cares about his patients. It can definitely be busy and often times it is a long wait to see him, but it is well worth it. I always find it amazing that not only does he listen patiently while I explain what is happening, but he takes the time to even explain what to look for and what to expect. For example, I took my daughter in once with stomach pain and fever (before it was a cold and flu clinic). I was worried it was her appendix. It was not. But Dr. Bell took the time to show me how and where to check so I don't panic everytime my kids have a stomach ache. He could see how worried I was and actually cared enough about me as a mother to give me some extra information for my sanity. This is just a small example but one that has stuck with me. Just incredible. His dedication and kindness is unmatched. I also want to add that Bonnie (receptionist) is just so kind. I know her job is not easy as the phone rings non stop there but she always speaks so kindly when she answers.

Dr Ian Bell is one of the best doctors LI have ever visited. He is excellent, compassionate, warm and very welcoming. Highly recommended!

All I can say is Thank You, it is so hard to find a Dr.that will see you these days when you have a cough. Dr. Bell is very caring and saw me right away. Bonnie the receptionist is a wonderful lady. So glad this place is open Saturdays and saw me so quickly.

Worse place I have ever seen in my life. They don’t even bother answering your phone or opening door to answer you.since 7: 30am to 11: 30am I called hundred times and no one even bothered to answer the phone. If you are short of stuff go hire some! What is so complicated about it? Enough is enough seriously you guys blame COVID for every single sh…t to not to do your job….
not just this place there are so many places just blame COVID like we never had this kind of virus in our lives before ‍️

I don’t care how good the doctor might be but what they are doing is unacceptable if this place doesn’t work I will have many places to go and that’s what I did. I am just recommending you guys fix your practice of you are doing something do it good not like this so disappointed
