I guess once you try the Korean fried chicken, there is no going back! Loved every bite of the cheesling fried chicken and wings

Loved the honey garlic and the cheesling chickens.but the tteokbokki was the star! A bit pricy though….

me and my friend have faced racism in here from the server.we ordered our usual during the lunch hour and when i was about to take one piece of chicken, underneath i’ve found a hair.i’ve shown to the server and she apologised and took it back.after a while she came back and asked us what we want to do with it.we were a little bit confused…then she proceeds to look at me (i had very little dyed red hair) and said, “just to let you know nobody in this kitchen got red hair and i don’t know how the hair got in the food” she tried to gaslight and blame it on me that i put my hair in the food.she kept arguing about it, so unprofessional.very poor customer service and kept asking what we want to do with the food, we asked to remake it.i felt really uncomfortable as we both were the only brown people in there, clearly tried to blame the thing on me, i asked for the manager but the cashier said the manager is busy.i told her what happened and paid for my tteokbokki.the server girl again tried to argue and blame it on me, i left the place.i was so overwhelmed i couldn’t take a picture of the food.never going again! That was such an unpleasant experience.

Chicken was bad, ordered take out and the chicken tasted weird. I have been to this place a few times before but everything was fine before. The chicken and sauce taste like it was expired and now I had to go to the hospital because my stomach feels sick. The radish also smells like it’s rotten, do no recommend.

I have only ordered takeout from here, but in my opinion, of all 3 locations (which I've tried many times from each), this location is consistently the best one

The extremely unpleasant smell of chicken didn’t let me even finish a piece. Also, who puts black pepper on fries? 36$ went to waste.

The food is ok and very overpriced. The worst thing about this place is service, servers simply ignore you. It took 35 minutes to bring my food while other tables that came later received their food in 10-15 mins. Never coming back, pure disappointment.

This was our second time visiting bbq chicken! First time we got gangjeong and red chak chak and we loved it so much (especially chak chak!). This time we got mala and cheesling and once again they were so tasty: 3 Can’t way to try more flavours: D

The owner is rude and ridiculous, my friends went to this place and waiter misheard the dish, then the owner asked the waiter to charge my friend two dishes money? ! What place did thing like that?

We got the Gang-Jeong chicken and a side of steamed rice. Chicken was super tasty, but a little too oily. Server was super nice and attentive. Solid spot for Korean Fried Chicken cravings.

Tasty and affordable chicken restaurant with very large portions. Very much worth the money considering how much food is provided for a single order. Tried the sandwich, rice, and the wings, both excellent options.

Great food with great staff. Simple dishes with flavourful impacts. If you're looking for an amazing Korean food experience in the area, bbq Chicken is the place to go.

Their tteokbokki and spicy chicken buldak with cheese with steamed rice as a side are great ones to try.

We got a good deal from Uber Eat on Sunday: buy one get one for regular golden fried chickens. However, we felt a bit disappointed about the quality. Chicken meat is not fresh, even worse than the ones we eat in Mc Donald. The chicken meat colour fades to grey and looks dull. You can smell it weird, not like a fresh chicken.

Probably never come back again due to the concern about health and hygiene.

Me and my friend went here for a meal, I ordered spicy chicken (my usual choice in Korean restaurants). Unfortunately, the dish turned out to be too spicy for my taste, to the point I couldn’t eat more that two forks of it and got lightheaded.

I told the waitress how I felt and asked if I can return the dish and get the less spicy one, she took my plate (which was practically full) without saying if I would have to pay for the dish, so I (wrongly) assumed it would be taken off the bill. She brought another dish.

To my surprise, the bill was for two dishes. If I had known that I would have to pay for the first dish, I would’ve taken it home, but the waitress never mentioned it.

When I asked her if The first plate could be taken off the bill, the man, who I believe to be the manager (a young man with glasses), came out to speak to me. With a huge attitude and extremely rude tone he asked if I don’t want to pay for my food, I clarified that I am fine paying for both if that’s their policy but was confused since I returned a practically full plate.

Why do I have to pay full price for a meal that I couldn’t eat and was taken away without mentioning it’ll be in the bill? If I do pay, I’d like to keep the food I am paying for.

He ended up taking it off the bill while saying snarky comments like “this isn’t a buffet to try everything and not pay” and “it’s fine, but you shouldn’t have been adventurous with trying spicy food if you can’t eat it”.

While I understand that there has been a miscommunication, I can’t recommend this place due to how rude and unprofessional the manager is.

I would give this place a 1 star really. Order on skip the dishes. Waited 30mins for the order to get cooked. Spend $50 dollars for one box of chicken (the order is two half chicken), so unreasonably priced. Chicken fried ok but tastes not marinated at all. The fries with Korean sweet sauce is basically mayo and Ketchup. Cheese ball is ok. There is no pop with it as well. I have been to the north York store and the experience is good. I think the price is so unreasonable and the quality of food is so bad compare to the NY store.

This is apparently "galbi" chicken and I assure you galbi sauce does not taste anything like the sauce that they use. Their sauce has a weird medicinal smell to it. I actually asked the kitchen folks smell it to see if anything was wrong with it and they thought everything was okay and that's that. We took half a bite and actually stopped eating. They were not gonna do anything to replace it or let us order another flavour so we took it home. I'm not sure how I can salvage fried chicken that smells like a weird medicine but all I know is that I won't be back to this location. That was possibly the worst chicken I have ever had.

The food's really good, and the service is very genuine. The manager even made sure I got everything I needed after their server entertained me.

We ordered a Secret Sauce Chicken, assorted cheese balls with a beer. Everything comes in around 15 minutes and it was hot and fresh.

The cheeseballs fillings are melted inside. The chicken is soft and not dry at all. It also come with a side radishes.

Definitely recommend! Even togo taste as good but dine-in is a different level.

The owner is very friendly and staffs are quick too.

Price wise the 7 chicken wing combo is I think the best value for money around this area. I got the one with the sweet and spicy Korean sauce but it could have been seasoned better. Fries were very good though, good portion size.

Unprofessional and very rude management.
If you hire someone new, you have to give them a proper training so that a miscommunication does not happen about the policies you have in the restaurant.

Train someone new properly, so that they know how to deal with such situations before being so rude and unprofessional to your customers and speaking to them as they are nothing.

And maybe learn how to speak to your customers without belittling them as well.

Do not recommend this place, food is average, portions are quite small and management is poor.

As someone who doesn’t care much for fried chicken, BBQ Chicken was mind blowing!

This is the RIGHT WAY to have fried chicken!

Secret sauce wasn’t so great. There are other places that do better sauce. The fried one was pretty good.

Lots of Korean fried chicken popping up, this being another downtown. Is it the best? Not sure, just one of many

Got takeout, took about 20 minutes to get 8 pieces and some fries to go along with it. Fried chicken was crisp. Tasted a little sweet. Not overly battered, leaning towards thinner crisp.

Got the secret sauce on the side. That was good. Honey mustard wasn't anything special.

Enjoyed the fries. Nice flavor and crisp

One of the best Korean fastfoods I tried in Toronto. Chicken is cooked well and juicy and the seasoning is spicy hot but enough for my taste.

Convenient location as it is within steps away from Bloor subway station. The portions here are similar to other Bbq Chicken places and the quality of the food was good. Not surprising as the franchise seem to be pretty standard across so no complaints!

Unfortunately, seems like they also don’t give you a can of pop with an order of a full chicken. Sad days.

Will be ordering from here in the future.
