Absolutely terrible service. The property management was completely unhelpful and rude. Prior to renting the cottage, we asked for good internet service. Upon arrival, we were told that some of the cabins do not have internet and it was not their fault. The TVs and fridge were not working either. The washroom toilets were also broken and we were showing with cold water all week. I would not recommend booking with this agency ever!

DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE! Unreliable property manager. Cancelled our reservations 5 days before Thanksgiving weekend. Had a family reunion all ruined with last minute cancellation by property manager/owner. Claims he did not know but I communicated directly with him when I placed my reservation. Claims we never made a deposit when Vrbo had a full payment and it had to be returned.

Booked it with great expectations, But bad conditions at the property ruined our expectations, The thermostat was not working, Called the Owner several times but responded after many calls, Told us to do few things to start the faulty thermostat, but the system did not responded, He after several reminders and calls send mini heaters, not enough to heat the unit, Again as we put on the heaters, the electricity line got away and we were in complete darkness, Again he responded after several calls and messages, We found the circuit breaker box and switched on the lights, Again the lights went away, We complaint it to the owner, He carelessly said he was in Toronto, and said he was coming to Wasaga, but he was lying, He did not come and we were the worst suferers,
Cannot trust this type of Owners.

It's not worth the price. You can find better, but if it's for a weekend of partying it is a good location. Keep in mind there is a shared area and if the other renters are slobs you will be stuck with their mess.

Excellent stay very clean called in same day and accomodate last min my stay here is very enjoyable and relaxing getting away from the city time to relax with family. Clean grounds are professional landscaping has been done beautiful grounds thanks Aron for the lovely experience

Definitely recommend. Aaron was very nice and was on site within 10 mins, very nice landscaping, good view, very clean site. No problems with the wifi, a nice bonfire pit in the gardens out back, 5 min walk to the beach. It was amazing staying here

Why would you cancel a group of grads kids that booked in January for Canada day weekend and than not return their $5,000.
Erin Armstrong do the right thing! This will follow you and ruin your business. Pay them back.

I don't want to call Beach1 a bunch of scammers.that would be a bit harsh. But I would recommend taking your business elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

1) Be prepared for some hidden charges. Don't worry if you forget.they'll be sure to just pop in at 11pm to collect. Speaking of surprises, don't be shocked to find an unexplained credit card charge a few days after your stay with dubious damage claims.

2) We stayed at the Beach Houses on 30th street. This place comes with cool features such as: a shower that doesn't drain, (hope you like sandy feet!), a propane tank without enough fuel to last the weekend (another bonus charge!), and a front door that is damn near impossible to lock. Not to mention the hot garbage smell from the dumpster right out front.

3) The villa is located miles away from downtown (good luck getting a Taxi in Wasaga Beach.the only cab company in town doesn't answer the phone). If you plan on staying out late, carve out an hour for your walk home.

I would not recommend staying here. Very sketchy experience. We rented through Airbnb, so we were expecting a hassle free experience. The first night, two of the property operators came back requesting about $400.00 on top of what we had already paid through Airbnb for the HST. It does say that in the fine print of the listing that the HST is due in person, however it was an inappropriate time to ask for the money and it is clearly a tactic to make the price of the unit look more desirable as all other Airbnb's I have been too charged HST in the listing.

We also then got charged directly to a credit card for supposed damages without contacting us or providing an details about the damages. This also is against Airbnb protocol as all damage claims have a specific process. We were all very surprised by the charge and they handled this all very unprofessionally.

Good unit, however overall poor experience with the management team.
